Solid place. You order at a counter and then grab the food yourself when it's ready. I had the creste di gallo with walnuts and fried sage. It was pretty good but definitely needed a protein source. My friend had the seafood diavolo which she enjoyed a lot. Olive oil cake was good. It seems they use really fresh ingredients which I love! They've got a lot of parking which is a plus. I do think I need to come back for a sandwich or their seasonal pizza to get a taste of their best.

Wow! I am so glad this place opened up nearby! The pizza scene is Rochester is getting quite competitive! The pizza toppings are all unique - From classic cheese and pepperoni to more seasonal, squash themed The crust is so crunchy and moist! Each slice could fill you up but I could never stop at 1! I highly recommend this place!

The food was really, really good. We really liked the sandwiches, arancini and pizza dough. Their wine prices, serving size and pairing recommendations were right on. The kitchen was busy so the wait till we were called to the counter to pick up our food was sufficient enough to get your visiting out of the way and your belly hungry.

This is my second visit but first time trying any food. It was worth coming back. You can do to-go orders or sit inside. The menu is just big enough and everything looked delicious. I settled on two items and a Mexican Coke.. cause why not. Basically you order, they take your name and call when it's ready. It may have taken less than fifteen minutes. If you can't finish anything you can ask for to-go boxes. The inside is clean and tidy light wood tables and chairs and whitewashed walls. Staff is pleasant and accommodating. This is what I got and I got the descriptions from their website. Farmer's Lettuce Salad artichokes, garlic breadcrumbs, condimento all'uovo, tarragon, lemon. I got the half order and it was a lot for me. It was refreshing and had plenty of salty umami without it being a salt bomb. The half order two people could enjoy it easily I took half of it home. I'd get it again. Than I got Meatball Cutlet pancetta, agrodolce, arugula, lemon mayo Now this was on house made focaccia it was lovely. It was not that's mut just right for the meatball cutlet. It was savory and a touch sweet and the lemon mayo tied it all together. I could eat both of these together or separately. This too I would get again., I'm glad North Winton Village has this and what's nice is I really think it's a hidden gem. Everything is house made a plus and you can also buy pasta and other things that they have available in the small pantry area. When you are done with your food you take your plate and utensils and put them in the proper places. Unfortunately the first time I came here I drove by it cause no signage. They do have one now which is a plus. Will I come back for sure. It was a little pricey for lunch but considering it was all was house made I was just fine with it. I don't know what to rate them 4.5 outta 5 or 5.., unfortunately you can't do a half. They share a parking lot with Lucky's.

This place is outstanding and I'm so happy to have it in the N Winton neighborhood. They moved into the building that used to have Bay & Goodman pizza and there is ample parking. They serve pizza, pasta, and other Italian grocery and sides. I tried the rigatoni bolognese and focaccia to go and both were so delicious. The only thing that would have made the rigatoni better was some sharp freshly shaved parm (wouldn't be surprised if they sell some, I'll have to check next time). I only waited about 10 minutes for my food. They also have a seating area if you want to dine in. Loved the food here and I will be back regularly to try more!

There is limited seating which makes it hard to give this place a 5 star. But the food was delicious! I had ordered the rigatoni bolognese as a safe option from the two other selections. But this was such a good choice. The pasta is made in house and you can definitely tell the difference. The meat was tender and paired so well with the pasta. Also the open kitchen was a cool experience to see the chefs prepare the foods.

I've never eaten boxed pastas and will not eat at restaurants that do or have make their own. With all that said. I can no longer make my pasta, and it's been a struggle. I finally wised up, and googled fresh homemade pasta. Bingo! The Pasta Shoppe came up and had 4.9 stars. I bought Spaghetti, Tortellini, their bolognese sauce, and meatballs. I wanted to surprise my husband, because he has been taking care of me, while I've been sick (cancer) I brought this home and made him dinner. Neither of us cared for the meatballs. Which we kinda expected. Cooking meatballs and then freezing them, makes for a rubbery meatball. But if they could figure that out, they would be great, because they had nice flavor. So if you're used to precooked meatballs this is your place. If you are only used to homemade. I'd recommend skipping. The spaghetti was perfect, 3 minutes and whole, just like I make. I enjoyed them very much. Have not tried the tortellini yet. I froze them. But I'm excited for them, they look fantastic. Bolognese sauce was wonderful. I would buy again, but will probably try a different sauce next time. Haven't try them all, right? I'm so happy that Incan gets the quality pasta I'm used to, without all the work. It may seem expensive to some, but it's better than any restaurant, so it's cheaper than eating out.! And if you ever made your own, you know how much hard work and love has to go into it. It's impossible to make pasta without love, so worth every penny.

I like me some good Detroit-style pizza and when I found out about this restaurant and their pizza by the slice offerings, I had to check it out. Located in a shopping center, this casual pizzeria is mostly a take-out joint but there is a small dine-in area. They serve pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and salads. They also sell pizza and pasta sauces as well as house-made pasta to be cooked at home. I was interested in having their pizza by the slice, so that's what I ordered on my visit. I got one slice of their Meatball Parmesan with red sauce and one slice of Greek Chicken with basil pesto base. After ordering the food, I noticed a sign for lunch special that included a slice of pizza, a beverage of your choice, and a cookie which was good until 3 PM. I inquired about it (it was about 10 mins. after 3 PM) and the owner/ manager gentleman honored that deal for me. That was great of him. I really appreciated that. I forgot the gentleman's name, but it was good to chat with him about his pizza shop. The pizza was fresh and delicious. I was in pizza heaven with each bite of these pizza, especially while enjoying the Meatball Parmesan pizza. That was da bomb. The Greek Chicken was good too but I preferred the Meatball one better. I had some leftover of the Greek Chicken which I had later on with some pizza sauce later and it tasted great. I really liked The Pizza Shoppe a lot. I highly recommend checking it out. They are very good and I look forward to going back there sometime again.

We usually start with the garlic bread, which comes warm and paired with marinara sauce--simple, but really well done. I've worked my way through a few of their pasta dishes, but the spicy rigatoni is easily my go-to. It has the right balance of heat and flavor without being overwhelming. The setting is a big plus as well--being right by the bay gives it a nice view and a laid-back feel that makes it great for both casual dinners and slightly nicer nights out. The only real downside I've noticed is that service can be slow at times. That said, it feels more like they're understaffed than an issue with the servers themselves, who have always been polite and attentive once they get to you.
