Pretty good items here for lunch. I felt like the pizza was an upscale version of Stouffer's French Bread Pizza. I can't say the salt bread tasted any better than a buttered baguette so if that's the case, what's the point? This is coming from a guy who LOVES Amazing Grains Salt bread. I went to the Salty Bread Pizza Cafe for an early lunch with a friend and enjoyed it! The bacon breakfast pizza was delicious. The salty bread was also delicious. I got a loaf to take home for dinner. The Cronut was very tasty, but a bit oily compared to some other cronuts I've had. The cannoli cookie was also pretty good. I prefer my cannolis without nuts or dried fruit, and the cookies had at least some nuts, so it wasn't my favorite, but that's due to preference. The woman who took my order was friendly. I've been here a handful of times for their pizza (rotating specialty slices every day in addition to their regular menu) and it never disappoints. Today, I tried their "homemade tater tots", which is not just some dressed up tater tots. Nope, these bad boys were egg-sized balls of loaded mashed potatoes, and came with cheese sauce and real bacon crumbles if you opted for the loaded version. They were absolutely delicious. The service is very quick here each time I've gone, which is huge if you're trying to grab a quick bite to eat. When I heard that this place was opening up, and would be serving pizzas on Amazing Grains Salty Bread, I thought the idea was incredible and I HAD to try it! The execution of this item was not what I was expecting, unfortunately. To begin with, "half" isn't half of a loaf of bread, which is what I thought it would be considering the price tag of $8. "Half" is actually half of a half. This made me even more confused after I initially asked for a "whole" with one half cheese and the other half cheese and pepperoni, but I was told that it wasn't possible to make one that way. So, for $18, I was given essentially the equivalent of two slices of pizza. The pepperoni one didn't really have any salt. The "cheese" pizza was actually a margherita pizza - which my child would not eat (and that one had salt, and was burnt to a crisp on the bottom) - this is why I initially asked for just plain cheese. Food tasted okay, but was nowhere near worth what I paid for, portion or flavor-wise. Disappointing that they couldn't accommodate a simple request to make a whole pepperoni and just not put pepperoni on half, or this could've been pushing 4 stars. read more

Was thrilled to see something open here so soon after Giuseppe's closed and manged to try it out for lunch! Definitely a different approach here. They have french bread and ny style pizza. They also have a few sandwich, salads and finger foods. The price was kind of steep but everything I tried was solid. I got a coke, a croughnut and a pepperoni half flatbread. I was here the first day they opened and they did ok at handling the walk-in customers and I'm sure they will improve. Their biggest issue was in figuring out which waiting customer was waiting for which foods. $18 was a pretty expensive lunch especially when I have to compare to donuts delight 5 miles up the road. The same lunch runs about $10. The $4 cronut was good if messy. I think $4 for a donut is a hard sell with two awesome bakeries nearby though. The coke was a coke lol. As for the pizza... The pepperoni was definitely plentiful. The bottom of the crust was crisp but the top was soggy from the sauce and not a good mouth feel. Maybe if they cooked the bread and got a crispy with little butter olive oil on it before saucing and cheesing it and toppings it might work better Sauce was pretty mild and I would like a bit more of a pop from it. I love supporting local businesses and look forward to trying more of their selections. We have a lot great local pizza places and bakeries but the view of the lake while eating lunch was fantastic and unique to this place! read more

This salty bread is something we fell in love with from Amazing Grains in Fairport, and then you put delicious topping on it--genius. My husband got the caprese--a recommendation that was off menu, and I got the spinach artichoke. Both fantastic. If the salty bread isn't your style, they also have great thin crust. The menu also had paninis, salads, wings and other apps. The seating is small but adequate, and service was quick and friendly. This is my experience take ot or leave it. I had heard good things about the pizza here, so we decided to try it. We ordered takeout. The person on the phone was very pleasant. We let them decide on more salt or less salt on the french bread (might have been a bad idea) We ordered the buffalo chicken and cheesless veggie (add cheese) salty French bread pizzas as well as a plain cronut and oreo mini tart. About $35 pre-tax and tip. When we got there, the place had a typical pizza joint feel. The food was ready and still hot. The french bread pizzas were a good size for $13. We got home and opened up the pizzas. The buffalo chicken looked delicious, and the cheeseless veggie looked atrocious. However, both were inedible. The veggies had 0 flavor or seasoning, and both were so salty that I could feel my blood pressure rising. I've never thrown pizza away in my life, but I guess there is a first time for everything. Into the trash it went and onto the desserts. The cronut was old and a bit stale. The oreo mini tart was exactly what you thought it would be and was the best item of the order. I am actually reviewing their second location at 4402 Dewey Avenue in Greece, NY. I tried them with a friend for the first time and OMG can I say delicious! We got the half French bread pizzas. I got the loaded pepperoni and asked for cup and char. The crust was cooked perfectly and the pepperoni was so crispy! I will definitely be going back... a lot! My only suggestion would be to throw out some little bistro tables outside, so that patrons can sit down to enjoy them in the nicer weather, since there is no eating area inside. I ordered the half size of their salty bread pizza, which is pizza cooked on two slices of French bread. If I'm being honest, nothing about it was memorable. The bread tasted like any other bread (I didn't taste anything that made it special). The sauce was barely delectable on my tongue. The cheese was good.
