This review is for "Locals on the Lake" upstairs from "The Pizza Stop", same building restaurant bar upstairs, takeout pizza downstairs. I'm telling you, the owner loves his business as the quality has not darkened in years... That is rare. So we ordered one of the new menu items (Chicken Parm, char broiled (bc my wife says I have to be healthy) and the meat lovers pizza with ricotta. AMAZING! We can't go there without ordering fresh pizza bc that is nirvana. The Chicken Parm did not need breading! Crusty and juicy, these people know what they are doing! And they make a lot of sauces there, the one with the Chicken Parm, was a perfect compliment to the HOMEMADE pasta and chicken. Drinks were generous and reasonable. Great service! We use to Love the Garlic knots, used to be soft ,garlic and cheese. Now they are minimal cheese, hard as rocks not so much garlic oil. Soda syrup ratio was off no flavor almost not carbonated. Did not have unsweetened tea even though waiter said it was fine then gave me sweet tea. Ordered a calzone.. did not have ham. We use to love this place would go a couple times a month but no longer. My money is too precious to spend on subpar service and food. read more

Best pizza I've had in western NY! We're from CT, having famous Pepe's New Haven Wooster St Pizza near us, we're particular about our pizza. The pizza was delicious! High quality ingredients, fresh mushrooms, garlic, homemade meatballs, etc. The garlic knots with cheese are awesome and the wings are the *best* I've had anywhere! One comment, just my personal taste, I'm used to and prefer a slightly thinner crust. However, for this area, where most people are used to and prefer a thicker crust, I think this is perfect for locals here. Also, all the staff we interacted with were *extremely friendly*! ... Amanda (owner's wife), owner's daughter, Christian, and other staff. There's also a counter you can sit at and watch your pizza being made. read more

We drove out from Fairport to check out this new Pizza Stop. We were not disappointed. Great location with views of the Pultneyville Yacht Club and Lake Ontario. We ordered a small pizza with veggies. Crust was sturdy and crisp. No soggy pizza here! Garlic knots were good...could have been more garlicky. We added mozzarella, but next time I'd skip it. Staff was friendly and open with recommendations. Great addition to the area. We were there around 2pm on a Saturday. It was a big football day. They were busy with orders. Even heard them get a call back from a customer saying how much they enjoyed their food. Choose one of their specialty pizzas or build your own. read more

Ordered 2 sheet pizzas, both split in half with different toppings. I was embarrassed to have my friends and family eat it. The dough was either frozen or old. Toppings were low quality and certainly far from fresh. The cheese had nothing to it. Bland sauce. I was surprised by all this being that the other 2 times I had smaller pizzas they were pretty good. This isn't an attempt to badger TPS but, this pizza was pathetic. Cafeteria pizza at best. Seeing others say this pizza is of high quality is comical. We've had better frozen pizzas. read more
