Slices we're huge and very good. If you think you need two slices, you don't unless you are starving! Very chill inside with a few tables and some outdoor seating. Stopped in on a Friday night. Ordered a large pepperoni and boneless wings. The crust of the pizza has really great texture! But sadly the pizza was very bland. The boneless chicken wings was nice and crispy! We ordered buffalo medium wings though and the flavor was not there, yet again. This is my 2nd review. In my 1st review I noted that the crust towards the center of the thin crust pizza was soggy. This time I ordered the original crust pizza with 4 toppings and while, like before, the pizza was extremely flavorful with an awesome outer edge crust. I think the real reason for the crust being soggy in the center is less a problem with the baking but more of an issue of it steaming in the closed box during transit. Regardless, this pizza was worth the cost. In addition, I ordered a dozen wings, sauced and grilled and not re-sauced. Obviously if you really like saucey wings you can order yours re-sauced after they grill them. These wings were great; full of flavor and juicy. I would definitely order these again. Overall, the Pizza and Wings here are worth the slightly higher than average cost they charge. Next time I might try some subs. read more

NY style pizza at its finest! Had a coupon for pizza and wings so headed down and wasn't disappointed. Wings and fried dough were good...will definitely go again, coupon or not. Excellent friendly service here. The pizza was pretty filling. The crust was a neutrally thick NY style. Underneath had nice proper spotting of light charring which added great flavor overall to the crust. The ingredients were all balanced properly and made for an overall good pizza. The wings were the best I've ever had anywhere. The wings here are huge and grilled perfectly and delicious. I've never had wings that were so crispy and flavorful on the outside and tender on the inside in my life. They know how to grill them better than just about anywhere I've ever been. Pretty awesome place that obviously cares about the food they make. I'll go back here for sure. read more

Just popped in for a slice. I think the pie they pulled it from was probably quite a bit past its prime. My culinary archeology skills tell me that when it was fresh, it was probably a pretty great pizza, but when I got it I'm certain it was a few hours old and probably should've been replaced by that point. The ingredients seemed pretty high quality and the crust was nice and crispy, though. It's getting a crappy review as it sits but I'll be back to give them another shot, possibly earlier in the day. I think this is great pizza, it just needs to be a fresher example in order to be sure of it. I'll update this review next time I'm in town. read more

Ordered from here after Marks closed (our favorite) and was pleasantly surprised, only once. My idea of a good pizza lies in the crust. It was not too thick and had great flavor. Last night decided to try again. Yuck!! The crust was SO thin you could barely see it. It was wet and ruined the taste of the whole pie. The toppings were in abundance which added to the disappointment of the crust because you couldn't lift the slice without everything falling off. Went here tonight. Ordered a calzone over the phone which is listed in the menu for $8.99 with each topping being $1 additional. When I got to the store to pick it up I was told it was not ready but I could cash out. When the clerk told me it was $16 I asked why and referenced the stack of menus on the counter. She said she wasn't sure and asked for assistance from I'm assuming a supervisor. She came over and said the prices went up. Even though they are not stated in the menu as being changed or told to you when you place an order over the phone. Neither girl was apologetic or seemed the least bit sympathetic towards me. Then the supervisor handed me my cold calzone that was ready from before I even arrived even though I was told it was still in the oven. Needless to say I will not be returning. Customer service is very important to me especially when there are multiple places I can get the same food from. I would think twice about going to Pizza Ds. read more

Their lunch specials are second to none and pizza is among the very best in Rochester. They are also active in the community which is commendable and makes me happy to give them my business.
