We walked in without reservations and they were nice enough to seat us. Service was excellent, chopped salad was very good, we ordered 2 specials , riggitonie with sausage ( huge portion) was very good. I had the veal special,it was pounded thin , slightly overcooked but still delicious! It should be 41/2 stars, 5 if the veal wasn't slightly overcooked. read more

Big shout out to this consistently "GREAT" place to eat. I give 5 stars based on the fantastic menu & special choices that are very upscale in quality & presentation while still being offered at a reasonable price. Restaurant staff is very accommodating. I asked for the Ribeye dinner at lunch & it was awesome right down to the best roasted potatoes I have ever tasted. At the same time being served in a clean comfortable setting. The servers are always pleasant and efficient & are a great part of us looking forward to our next visit. February's Monthly Macaroni & cheese Special is killer! When I first saw the name of this place, I was extremely concerned, I thought the building was on fire. Turns out the place wasn't on fire, but the name is a reference to the pizza oven they have that's firing on all cylinders. I ended up going with the Bruschetta pizza, it reminded me of the bruschetta my grandma used to make. At first I thought to myself, I'll eat half this pizza and save the other half for later. The thing is, the pizza was so stellar, that I had to just keep eating it and I ate the whole thing. Highly recommend both for the food and the local decor. read more

Myself and my two guests order two pizzas and our conclusions were the same: The flavor of the pizza's bland but more importantly the crust was PAPER THIN. I'm not talking about " New York style thin crust" I'm talking about a crust thin enough to almost read through. We would have gladly paid a few extra dollars for a decent thickness crust. This pizza may have been acceptable somewhere else like Tennessee or Kentucky but this is New York. I do not recommend this place for pizza. read more

5:30 on a Tuesday 3 adults and 2 grandchildren. They were 1/2 full, staff was wonderful, seated quickly and not rushed to order or eat very relaxing and friendly. Pizzas were excellent and as described, kids loved there pizza and chicken fingers and fries. Plenty of food with leftovers. The prices are very reasonable. Service was excellent but the food is what we came for and not anything special enough for us to be return for. My husband ordered the pizza which he felt was good enough but not a reason to go back to this restaurant. I ordered the chicken Parmesan which was dry and over cooked and I had great difficulty cutting it. The service was very good (it was early on a Tuesday night so dining room was only our table and one other) and we were served very quickly--so quickly in fact that I suspect the food was not freshly prepared--literally we got our order a few minutes after placing it. There is no way my chicken Parmesan could have been cooked in such a short amount of time and certainly not over cooked to the extent it was in such a short time, so it was clearly something that had been previously prepared and then reheated and served. So very disappointed this establishment changed from the landmark business it was known for as Bistro 11 and its truly outstanding cuisine it had offered, and customer service it was renowned for in days gone by. Enough already with $20 bland wood fired 12" wannabe pizzas and foo foo type restaurants. Aren't there enough of these establishments around that cater to millennials and GenZers ?? Who cares about how many craft beers are on tap or offered. Why isn't wine being touted also in one of the best winery regions in the country?
