The meat hot sauce atop the plate had too much of a cinnamon flavor for me, that kind of ruined the whole plate for me. My dad order their special fried oyster po boy, which he said wasn't too great. He said the fried oyster were kind of cold, and they were put on a plain roll. My mom got a burger, which she said was a fine burger. There's a 7-Up branded sign with "Ye Mendon Tavern" on it. I finally convinced my husband that we need to go there. We went in and there is definitely and a cozy ambiance about it. The bartender was friendly enough, and the drinks were well priced. A generous pour as well. The kind of place where you should go if you are in the mood for having a relaxing drink.
