Saturday afternoon we were in the Victor area and stopped into the fire on main for lunch. We sat at the bar and we decided on a veggie pizza and I got a glass of moscato which was really good. It was the 1st time we had ever been there. It was a nice place. It was cozy and the bartender waited on us and we talked to her for a minute. She was nice and it was a pleasant outing. The pizza was also very good btw. read more

Fire on Main Brick Oven Kitchen - Veggie pizza with mushrooms/arugula/ banana peppers. - Pizza Near Me - Victor, New York

First time trying Fire in Main... the oven looked promising but the pizza was soggy by the time we got it home Tasty toppings but crust didn't quite have the chewiness and crispness that we were looking for Meatballs were a bit underwhelming for $18! The place was packed thought so maybe next time we'll try to eat in and see if the quality of the crust improves read more

A great experience from the friendly welcome and attentive service to the excellent Italian salad and perfectly cooked Gambino pizza. Servings large enough to share with my date. Good selection of beers on tap. Will be back! read more

Gave this a try for the first time and ordered take out, pizza dough was not the brick oven style we expected.

We come to this restaurant nearly every week and have never had a bad meal. The staff are all very friendly and provide excellent service. We never leave hungry and always have a great time. read more

Big shout out to this consistently "GREAT" place to eat. I give 5 stars based on the fantastic menu & special choices that are very upscale in quality & presentation while still being offered at a reasonable price. Restaurant staff is very accommodating. I asked for the Ribeye dinner at lunch & it was awesome right down to the best roasted potatoes I have ever tasted. At the same time being served in a clean comfortable setting. The servers are always pleasant and efficient & are a great part of us looking forward to our next visit. February's Monthly Macaroni & cheese Special is killer! Thanks for making every visit a pleasant culinary experience. read more

We walked in without reservations and they were nice enough to seat us. Service was excellent, chopped salad was very good, we ordered 2 specials , riggitonie with sausage ( huge portion) was very good. I had the veal special,it was pounded thin , slightly overcooked but still delicious! It should be 41/2 stars, 5 if the veal wasn't slightly overcooked. read more

I ordered and paid for mushrooms and I didn't get any mushrooms.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disappointed! read more

Fire on Main Brick Oven Kitchen - Pizza no mushrooms - Pizza Near Me - Victor, New York

When I first saw the name of this place, I was extremely concerned, I thought the building was on fire. Turns out the place wasn't on fire, but the name is a reference to the pizza oven they have that's firing on all cylinders. I ended up going with the Bruschetta pizza, it reminded me of the bruschetta my grandma used to make. At first I thought to myself, I'll eat half this pizza and save the other half for later. The thing is, the pizza was so stellar, that I had to just keep eating it and I ate the whole thing. Highly recommend both for the food and the local decor. read more

First time! We split a massive wedge salad--best ever! We also split the bruschetta pizza which was fabulous. Great service at the bar with many options! Definitely recommend read more

Meatballs had no flavor tasted like they were frozen . The pizza had too much cheese and no my enough sauce

Myself and my two guests order two pizzas and our conclusions were the same: The flavor of the pizza's bland but more importantly the crust was PAPER THIN. I'm not talking about " New York style thin crust" I'm talking about a crust thin enough to almost read through. We would have gladly paid a few extra dollars for a decent thickness crust. This pizza may have been acceptable somewhere else like Tennessee or Kentucky but this is New York. I do not recommend this place for pizza. read more

Food's great! Service staff is wonderful! Highly recommended the Calabrian Chili Honey Butter wings - outstanding!

Service was excellent but the food is what we came for and not anything special enough for us to be return for. My husband ordered the pizza which he felt was good enough but not a reason to go back to this restaurant. I ordered the chicken Parmesan which was dry and over cooked and I had great difficulty cutting it. The service was very good (it was early on a Tuesday night so dining room was only our table and one other) and we were served very quickly--so quickly in fact that I suspect the food was not freshly prepared--literally we got our order a few minutes after placing it. There is no way my chicken Parmesan could have been cooked in such a short amount of time and certainly not over cooked to the extent it was in such a short time, so it was clearly something that had been previously prepared and then reheated and served. Regardless, mediocre food not worth returning to this restaurant again read more

This place was OMG good. Was in an unknown area and I turned to YELP for a suggestion. Best pick ever. Got the Juky special pizza and dessert. Both were amazingly flavorful and delicious. Our waitress went above and beyond tomato sure we were pleased. Highly recommend stopping here!! read more

5:30 on a Tuesday 3 adults and 2 grandchildren. They were 1/2 full, staff was wonderful, seated quickly and not rushed to order or eat very relaxing and friendly. Pizzas were excellent and as described, kids loved there pizza and chicken fingers and fries. Plenty of food with leftovers. The prices are very reasonable. We will go back and we recommend to everyone. The 00 flour drew us in! Thanks staff! read more

Fire on Main is our go to restaurant. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The service is impeccable. And of course the food is excellent. We love the atmosphere at Fire on Main. So glad we found it. read more

So very disappointed this establishment changed from the landmark business it was known for as Bistro 11 and its truly outstanding cuisine it had offered, and customer service it was renowned for in days gone by. Enough already with $20 bland wood fired 12" wannabe pizzas and foo foo type restaurants. Aren't there enough of these establishments around that cater to millennials and GenZers ?? Who cares about how many craft beers are on tap or offered. Why isn't wine being touted also in one of the best winery regions in the country? The sensible baby boomer generation's palette is now being ignored and fallen by the wayside! I'm sure other's will differ but why not stay with a business model you had working and could have improved on, even in the face of mounting internal costs. read more

Local, friendly spot. Sat at the bar. Spaghetti with meatballs was good but a large portion. Mushroom pizza good.

Service was great, but the pizza was some of the worst ever! Crust was totally soggy with a lot of tasteless, thick cheese on top and watery tomato sauce. So disappointed! I wish we had a good restaurant for dinner in Victor Village. read more

Superb pizza and cocktails. Kid friendly too! We had dinner with family and 3 children. It did not disappoint.

Pizza was amazing. So were the chicken wings. Pricey but will be back. Service was prompt. Fries were bomb too. My son is a connoisseur of fries (he just loves them) and he rates this as one of the best he has had. read more

The food was the closest thing to my dear old Italian grandmother's. I commented to our server how the food tasted so authentic and learned the owner/chef is from the same small town in Italy as my grandmother. You could taste it in the food! We had meatballs, salad and pizza! Everything was delicious. The service was as good as the food. We left there feeling like we were just at a family dinner. It was our first time here and it's a 1.5 hour drive, but we will be back often. Highly recommend! read more

our pizza was burnt. the pepperoni and crust was black. I couldn't eat it. The waitress agreed with me but the hostess said the pizza was only in the oven for 90 seconds. She lied. So if you go ask for a pizza that's not burnt read more
