I had the unfortunate pleasure of attempting to purchase pizza at Guida's on Empire. While waiting, I notice that both TV stations were dialed at Fox news. Now, I respect a persons right to choose their own political association, I do not appreciate nor will I tolerate such blatant disrespect ,political ,cultural, racist, propaganda that Fox news projects to the world !! Mixing business with one's political views is BAD BUSINESS !! I will not tolerate such rhetoric in the circumference of my eye sight while attempting to purchase food!! I have been a customer of Guida's for over 15 years but today will be my last time going there!!! The quality of the food items; pizza, chicken wings, salad, pasta, have also declined as well. So at this point asking for a refund seal this DEAL... ARRIVERDERCI & ADDIO Guida' read more

The last few months we have ordered from Guida's in the village and the pizza has been consistently great. We order the thin crust and its crispy and has a nice wood fired char. The sauce is sweet and flavorful. Wings have always been meaty and they have a large selection of sauces. The Greek salad is a large portion and easy to share between my small family. Glad to have great pizza so close by as we usually have had to drive down to Naples for it. read more

After reading that Guidas had Fox News on both TV's I decided to order pizza and wings from Guidas. Gotta say the pizza and wings were great, and so was the service! read more

Ordered some wings. Barely sauced. Tastes like plain wings. Terrible. Pizza was fine. But these wings aren't worth it. read more

The subs were the best I have had in a long time. Amazing customer service and value. Will be back!

First time here, my parents were in town and their hotel was nearby. The pizza was really good!

I decided to try Guida's in Webster. I went to their app and selected Delivery. I received a confirmation from Guida's email saying it was "powered by Chownow". Delivery at 6:05pm. I called at 6:25pm to be told I was a Grubhub customer, I told them NO I ordered through you and you need to track whoever you contracted to deliver it. I called back at 6:45pm spoke to manager who said he had called Grubhub and they picked it up to deliver 1 hour later after it was made. They charge $7.95 for delivery plus tip so a pepperoni pizza was $40. Needless to say pizza was cold and dough was tough from sitting. Begging Chownow for the refund. read more

Wow! This place really let's you customize! You can change the thickness of the pizza, tons of toppings to choose from, an extensive list of non spicey wing sauces, three sauce choices for the pizza (garlic, red sauce or mixed), you can even order the wings all drums or all flats! Everything was delicious but the wings really stood out. They were well seasoned and had a nice crispy outside with a juicy tender inside. Will definitely be back to try some other combinations! read more

Honestly, the food here is great. Always really enjoyed everything I've gotten from them. Man, I really hate being a Karen, but unfortunately, the third party app (ChowNow) they use for delivery orders borderlines on fraud. I made an order for me and my sons for the NFL draft at 745pm. Checked Google that the restaurant was still open and their was no warning on the app to not make an order. I made the order (around $100) and the financials were completed and executed. The restaurant can (and did) arbitrarily decide to not fulfill the order (later found out they felt it was just too close to when they wanted to go home to prepare the food)...literally the app allows them to just decide not provide the goods that were paid for. When checking on my order status after some time, the app said my order was cancelled by the restaurant and I would get a refund in 4-7 days. They might hold my funds for a week! Admittedly, I am not one who takes this kind of service well, so I called the restaurant, spoke to a manager on duty and basically told them that the only positive outcome I could see is for me to come down and get the order or a physical refund, preferably the food...to which the manager on duty responded "OK". I drove down to the restaurant, which was still open and servicing customers, to hopefully get my order filled. None of the staff wanted to speak with me on my arrival so I waited for the owner. We definitely met at the wrong time in our lives, and I can't blame him, and I will give him some grace, for the names he called me and the words he used when I didn't want to take "no" for an answer on either getting my order or a physical refund. I regret the interaction with the owner, but as a single Dad, the $100 I budgeted for doing something cool for my boys, is not a small amount of money to be held up for a week. It is an insanely bad business model that a third party app can take an order and execute the financial transaction, without any formal assurances that the partner restaurant has obligation to fulfill the order. If the partner restaurant can simply decide to not take an order, then the app should not execute the financials until the order is confirmed by the partner restaurant. They can simply take your money, tie it up for a week, and have no obligation to fulfill the order. Crazy. read more

Not gonna lie, this place has pretty good pizza! I'm not sure what's up with the low star reviews as yes Rochester has a ton of great pizza but this place is certainly not worthy of a low rating. The pizza here is good, (not the best) but quite good. I will say however that it's a little pricy for their pizza so that is something I wish they would address. I love putting meatball on my pizzas from here as it tastes really really good, they also have a really good meat lovers pizza from here as well. Definitely check this place out! read more

Guida's Pizzeria - a pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Webster, New York

I had never been to this location before. I called ahead, and ordered a cheese sub and garlic knots. The person on the phone was very confused by a sub with just cheese on it (no meat), but they figured it out. It was supposed to take 25 minutes, and it took just about that exactly. The cheese sub was pretty good. It had a TON of cheese! I never complain about too much food though. I just took some off and saved it and used it later. I did specifically ask for no swiss though, and they gave me swiss. The garlic knots were incredible!!! Probably the best garlic knots we've ever had!!! They were really garlic-y, too! Some garlic knots are just like plain breadsticks. These were not, and my car still smells like garlic, lol. I also asked for ranch rather than marinara, and they got that right. I do wish they'd get online ordering. The sign says it is "coming soon", so I don't know when that will actually be happening. I would definitely come here again. Those garlic knots are worth the trip! read more

We know that place is closing soon which is unfortunate. We've ordered food from them for years, including supporting them through the pandemic. Our last experience with them was not great. Overcooked, dry and black pizza crust. It was actually crunchy. We wish the staff there much luck in the future, but we're disappointed in what will be our last run at the pizzeria. read more

So many options for pizza, slices, wings and sides. You can even choose all drums or all flats when ordering your wings. Speaking of wings, some of the best wings Ive had. Ordered all flats, garlic Parm and breaded. Super juicy and well coated with flavor!! They have incredible garlic knots as well, that comes with a side of red sauce. The pizza was good, not my favorite, but still hit the spot on a hungry day. Will definitely return in future, especially for the wings! read more

Guida's has really good brick oven pizza. We got a large, regular crust, red sauce with cheese and pepperoni. I have no complaints about the pizza. Very yummy! My husband is obsessed with fried dough and we got an order of that as well. I found the fried dough hard to bite and chew... Did not enjoy it at all. My work often gets a sheet breakfast pizza from here and it is AWESOME. I'm not a HUGE fan of the thick sheet pizza dough but it's a tasty treat every now and then. I decided to order here instead of our "usual" Marks Pizza or Salvatore's because of the convenience of the location. (Which I had a Salvatore's $10 large pizza coupon for - which was very temping because I like to save money) I love that it is attached to Hegedorn's! But because I had a Redbox movie to return and had to pick up some eggs... I enjoyed the "One stop shopping" with those two AND be able to pick up the pizza. Pricing seems comparable to other pizza shops in the area. Wish they had better coupons though. You can go online and find their coupons but none of them fit what we wanted. Boo! They also have Guida bucks that you can save up for a free pizza. We'd definitely order from here again! read more

Guida's Pizzeria - Guida's large cheese and pepperoni pizza. Yum! - Pizza Near Me - Webster, New York

Ordered a Guida's pizza for the first time in 15 years. I forgot that their pizza came in a square shape which you don't find very often. The pizza was nice and crisp. There wasn't too much sauce which is on the sweet side. Perfect amount of cheese and not too much grease. Toppings where portioned well. Overall a very good pizza at a reasonable price. The only reason for 4 stars in the lack of delivery coverage, if they delivered to my house I would probably have given them 5 stars. read more

Craving pizza I tried Guida's . So impressed with service and the quality of their food .. I'll be back amazing and happily feed

My friend just brought me an order of Sweet and Sour Wings from Guida's in Webster, NY. I always thought their wings were great, but this time I was so disappointed, I'll never be back. The online menu specifically states that the Sweet and Sour Wings are lightly breaded, but mine came unbreaded. I called the restaurant to return the wings and get the breaded wings as specified, but neither the phone person or manager would remedy the problem. I'm sorry, but if a restaurant won't stand behind their online advertisement, I won't be a customer of theirs. False advertising? Fraud? If you don't follow the online menu, please CHANGE IT!!! I certainly won't be back and will pan Guida's to everyone I know!!! read more

Five Stars for the pizza and some amazing deals. The best pizza in Webster. We normally get the half a sheet or the traditional round pie (fun to mix it up) with pepperoni and mushrooms. Also, I enjoy a dozen of the breaded Sweet & Sour wings. You can get this combo with a coupon (online) for $26 (the coupon is for $20, so add tax and extra for 2 toppings). Be warned, the pizza box says, "Wood Fired!" I think they do this at another branch, but it doesn't affect my rating. I don't recommend their sandwiches. When baked, they were too hard (tough) to eat. We never ordered one of their salads or breakfast. They have a great repeat customer promotion. Basically, buy ten and get one free with Guida Bucks. This place is mainly for takeout or delivery (they charge a fee). If you go for lunch, they have some amazing pizza that you can order by the slice (huge). They have them for dinner too, but we had a hard time catching them (the pizza is usually gone around 7pm, when we like to eat). You can walk next door (its connected) to a grocery store for a movie (they have a redbox) or anything else you'd need on your way home. You can dine in, but we don't recommend it. The seats aren't very comfortable and you have to order and pick-up from the counter. If they ever made this an actual sit-down place that served beer, we'd give it Five Stars. read more

the food is so delicious and so good I can't wait to eat it again I like to eat the food and all should have it for dinner and then lunch

1st timer. Walked in after a brief stop at Hegdorns Market which it is attached to. I ordered the "Original" 8" sub. If it's original, it has to be good right? Chicken, ham, cheese and all the fixins, including a sweet and tangy Italian dressing. (Wow) I'm glad I only ordered an 8" sub. This sandwich was huge! Never would have been able to eat a 12". This was made fresh. And it was delish. Don't be fooled by the looks of the place. It's worth a stop. read more

We just finished our pepperoni pizza from Guida's and it was delicious. Always is, even if it's a large slice.

AWESOME. Asked for extra sauce and got extra sauce. Fantastic taste and ingredients brought out so you don't get 40% crust. I read the negative reviews and none were about the pizza. This is a pizza joint people. The thought of ordering Moo-Shu pork or Wuhan Watercress with extra Bat wings never entered my mind. read more

Guida's is high school cafeteria pizza, it could also pass for most hospital cafeteria pizza's. I was recommended to go here by another fool...well that will be the last time I ask her for advice. Cheese, no taste. Sauce, bland no taste. Plenty of dough, it seemed the large pizza I ordered had almost 14 bread loaves jammed into the pizza. Guida's is next to Hedgehorn's which also sucks, so it should have been my Q. read more

Horrible horrible salads. Ordered two different salads to go with one sub. One small Garden salad with chicken added and the other was the Asian Chicken Salad. Asian was requested to have grilled chicken, it did not. Was supposed to have cabbage, it did not. The small Garden salad was more expensive than the "full" size Asian. Worst food I've had in a very long time and would never recommend them to anyone. Not even worth the one star this requires me to give. read more

Wow.. stopped here on our way back from a family trip to Chimney Bluffs and was surprised by the great quality of the pizza. We had a "philly" pizza with peppers, onions, steak and garlic sauce. My wife just picked up a large pizza from Guida's Webster location. Once she came home with pizza we noticed the quality of the pizza was dry and over cooked. She called to speak with the manager and the manage wasn't understanding and was argumentative with her. She has never experienced this kind of service before. We were always happy with Guida's pizza until now. We will never order from them again. read more

Called this place to order some pizza. Seemed like the phone was answered and I was immediately placed on hold. I sat on hold for 20 minutes and no one came to answer. This place just smells so good as soon as you walk in! Ordered chicken parmesan past time and couldn't pass up an opportunity to have it again. Well... I didn't realize that my review never posted... So here it is. 3rd time now. Visiting in Webster. And came here for our 1st dinner. HUGE slice. So good and Hot out of the oven. Chicken part. Lasagna. Greek salad to share. And always great service. I loved the Guida's in penfield. We just moved to Webster and we were dying for some pizza. Ordered an extra large pizza (love that they have that size, slightly bigger than a large, but perfect when a sheet is just too much food). They told us the delivery guy would be there in 45 min. An hour and half goes by. I called in to see where our order was. The guy says "Are you sure you ordered with us? I can't find your order?" Well 12 min goes by and they finally found our order and he says "oh he left 30 min ago he should be there soon). Finally the guy came with our pizza. And it was all burnt!! Never will I order from there again. They really lost my business. read more

Owner is a great person and his Pizzeria is no difference. Great food and service. Highly recommend Guida's. Great food!!

Really bad customer service I order pizza, a burger and some other items the order came up to $41 and some change. The girl says well the burger iiiiis hold on I was in hold for five minutes after I tell her what's wrong with burger she said nothing...when the burger gets here taste like old rotten meat then I called them they said that the patty is different and he is going to issue a credit now mind u another one of the items we ordered was breaded boneless wings... Seriously what a joke!! Those wings were supposed to be a dozen... Surly was not 12... We also asked for some type of credit for that as we'll... The manager Josh explained the boneless wings comes pre packaged and frozen there was possibly some crumbs they count as one?? Are u kidding me... Ok we'll we let all of this slide ...only because we felt ok the pizza was good and seeing how we have a credit it was late we will reorder! So we call to place an order and we'll.... There is only my wife and I so we didn't want to order as much as last time we figured a pizza and some original wings this time would be ok.... We'll the order came up to $21.. So we asked about out credit... They were happy to apply it... But in order for them to deliver it we would have to order something else... Are u kidding me? So again we asked to speak with Josh to voice our concern about this and the poor customer service we were receiving. He said the reason we had to order more was because the order was brought down for the credit so we would have to order something else to make the order without credit for $15 or more?? In order for them to deliver... Really?? First off you are selling frozen pre packaged boneless chicken wings and counting a crum as one wing... And your burgers are frozen lancer burgers?? Oh and when I mentioned again how the menu states their burgers are angus... He replies with .. We'll this is a pizza shop and we specialize in pizza?? Ok.... So why in the heck are u selling us frozen burgers...why sell them at all? Why use false advertising?? I tell u this is the worst pizza place we ever ordered from....never again!! I'm not going to order food that's froZen and a place where they have the worst customer service ever!!! read more

This place used to be so good, pizza is always great, too bad the service has gone down hill so much. Third time I have come in and there were problems with my order. The pizza itself is good. I am writing this about the service. Last Friday, we ordered pizza for pick up. It took over an hour to get our food. This isn't a huge deal, but it was in part because they gave part of our order to someone else right in front of him. There was no apology or explanation. He just had to wait for them to redo part of his order. With all of our choices of pizza in Webster, we will not be returning here. read more
