We love the Pub menu and rarely have a bad meal there. We're regulars ! Last week I had one of the best dinners ever : the special - 2 grilled pork chops with a humongous baked sweet potato. I've never had such tender, tasty pork chops. Kudos to the chef. Our server, Samantha, was also top notch. Another fav is the Aegean salad . Huge . Fresh . Wonderful.. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because my Virgin Mary, usually one of the best around town, was off-base and the bartender would not re-make it . We've been there before on a Monday. Had the steak special and had a great experience but it seemed very different this last time February 2. We both ordered the steak again. Both medium but one came out med. well and the other well. Both of them had "medium" markers in them which clearly was not the case any server should have noticed. The worse problem was the extremely loud female who couldn't stop screaming F bombs from the kitchen. It sounded like she was putting on a raunchy inner city comedy show . Came here after getting a tree the other day. I got the chicken French panini and WOW highly recommend! What a unique and delicious item I would come back just for this! I love this place, always great experience however tonight 3 of us ordered the NY Stripe with garlic fries and the fries were served under the steak. My favorite place for a fish fry when I visit Rochester! (Additionally I can order spaghetti on the side which I love)! The crispiness of the fish fry and the batter amount is perfect - there's no sogginess at all and the haddock inside has that nice moisture when you bite into it. My fish fry is completely demolished every time I order it here. My boyfriend pointed out that he likes that two tartar sauces are provided since he tends to use all the sauces while eating. I like the variety of sides a lot since I tend to eat a lot of fries with my meals when I'm upstate and sometimes I'm not feeling fries or chips on the side :) Service is very good every time I go here and it seems like a popular spot for locals! We have been coming here for a couple years as kids like it and close to home. Basic menu but food quality was pretty consistent. Last visit with coworkers person with us had a long brown hair in her fries. This happens in every restaurant occasionally so not a huge deal, she just asked for new fries. The waitress gave so much attitude my coworkers agreed they would never go back, and have not. . My sons birthday this week and he wants to go to 235 as loves their fries (without the hair). Short version, we are seated in half full restaurant in a drafty room meant for summer. Burgers and sandwiches take over an hour to be served, not one server checked on table while we waited. Two of the meals are ice cold when finally they came. The worse part was being treated like we did something wrong when we brought up the issues. One of my absolute favorite restaurants. The Pub is great for any occasion. They have your classic party/pub foods, but also a lot of upper scale specials, burgers, steaks, and pastas. With their wide variety of menu options, you can always get something you're in the mood for, at a very reasonable price! My two all time favorite menu options is the bruschetta (pictured here) and the chicken French panini. I can't explain how good their French sauce is. YUM! The burger is huge. Loaded with bacon, onion rings, bbq sauce. They give you a ton of seasoned french fries. It's uncomfortable eating the entire thing in one shot. I had the french dip. Very generous portion of roast beef! I took half of it home! My older daughter had hot wings... and she said yes... definitely hot! Younger daughter had the chicken french panini. I had a bite and it was amazing! Mom/Gramma had a build your own burger and she said it was fantastic. We went here on a whim with friends on a Friday night. It was already pretty packed when we arrived and we were told the wait would be about 45min. Our friends drove across the city so we figured we'd stay and just get drinks while we waited. I went back to the hostess to check on our status and also request a table in the bar area. They were very nice and accommodating and we were seated soon after that. The bartenders were friendly and even made sure to refill our pub mix. Drink prices were good and wine pours were nice. We started with fried Mac cheese and wood fired ravioli. The Mac cheese was homemade and delicious with an amazing cheese sauce. The raviolis were perfectly breaded and had the right balance of cheese and breading. The marinara was delicious. We all really enjoyed our entrées: BYO pizza, bacon cheeseburger with waffle fries, meatball sub special with waffle fries, and Haddock French. My mom and I stopped in for lunch after meeting with a florist at Kittelberger. It's a very cute restaurant with a nice patio area that has real hops growing on the fence. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of beers, wine, and cocktails. I ordered the Greek salad with garbanzo beans, and my mom ordered the corned beef Reuben with waffle fries. My salad was fresh and delicious, My mom said hers was excellent and very filling. I really enjoyed having lunch here. It was beautiful out and the atmosphere was great. The only recommendation would be a couple more vegetarian options. They have a veggie burger and salads but a veggie wrap or another option would be awesome. I'm not in Webster often, but I'll definitely stop in again when I get a chance. read more
