The only reason I didn't rate them 5 stars is they do not seem to take reservations over the phone, which they never seem to answer. They use Resy. which is a far inferior site to Open Table. That's the bad news. The good news is that the food and service were amazing. There were four of us and we all loved our meals. My husband must have gluten free food and he said that the gf pizza was the best restaurant pizza he ever had. He gave me a little bit of the crust and he was right. It was delicious. We have eaten here and enjoyed the pizza. That's why we decided to have a late dinner there after catching a movie. The posted hours said they are open until 10pm. I even called to make sure the kitchen would be open. I was assured it would be. That's why I was I disappointed when I walked in at 9:30 to be told they were closed. Be careful before going here. I've been to JoJo multiple times and this is one of my very favorite restaurants in Webster. I love the aesthetic, the staff is extremely well trained and friendly, it's squeaky clean, and the food is so delicious every single time. They also have an outstanding wine list - they offer several flights of wine , all very well curated - and I believe they also offer cider and beer flights. This last trip in I went for the Tuesday night pasta special which is their incredible cheesy bread with marinara, chopped salad, a pasta dish with your choice of protein, and JoJo dough which is fried cinnamon sugar dough with ice cream- outstanding - all for about $18 per person- lots of food . Jojo's opened right before the pandemic and it's a shame that the timing lined up the way it did. I feel like it didn't give the community a chance to try Jojo's. I finnaly made it in. You need to make reservations due to covid. The space is open and the tables are spaced far apart and some have plexiglass barriers. I liked the atmosphere and wish we made it in to sit outside this summer. The wine flights are fun. They had 4 flights to choose from. I would go back again just to try new flights. There are a few highly rated wines on the menu. Juggernaut cab sauv is on the top of my list if you want a recommendation. It's tough to pick something from the menu because there are a lot of good options. They did a great job on the menu. I don't feel that way at most restaurants. Take a look at the menu yourself. The appetizers, large plates, and pizzas each had several options I want to come back and try. We started with a charcuterie board. Good selections of cheese and meat for the price. The salami/pepperoni was the stand out along with the goat cheese. I get these at most places we go and this one was above average. Ordering just this and wine might be a good move if you are looking for something light. For an entree I had the gnocchi. It was good. A few different/unexpected flavors because of the squash and kale. The kale was a good touch. My wife had the steak salad and enjoyed it. I want to come back to dry the braised beef and a pizza. The dessert was a pleasant surprise. It wasn't on the menu but they have a few options. I think they said cheesecake, the jojo's dough, a village bakery lemon cake, and a few others are available. The jojo's dough was awesome. It's fried dough pieces with sugar and carmel drizzled on it. They give you three scoops of vanilla ice cream too. There's enough for probabaly 3 or 4 people. This is the restaurant we needed in the village. There is enough fast casual, pubs, and bars already. I hope they can weather covid because they are going to be packed as soon as people are comfortable going out again. read more

The restaurant is huge and beautiful inside. The bar separates the dining room and spans almost the whole length of the building in a beautiful curve that surrounds the pizza oven. They offer beer and wine, happy hour specials and dinner. The ambiance is really nice, really classy. It seems like a comfortable place to get some happy hour drinks with friends. We ordered the Pork Tenderloin ($19) which was cooked well and had a really nice sweet glaze. It comes with fries and a side of glaze and ketchup. It's good but nothing special. We also got the Mushroom Risotto ($20) which was cooked well and very flavorful, very garlicky, almost too garlicky but not enough to make us stop eating it. What's the perfect amount of garlic? I'll know it when I try it but this was not the time. It also had a good amount of meaty mushroom chunks which was nice. I hear the wedge salad's good. I would come back for happy hour specials and maybe some pizza or apps. The prices here are cheaper than other classy Italian American restaurants such as Grappa, and the food is just as good. read more

This was my wife's and my first time here since it used to be prime. The entire restaurant has been totally remodeled inside with so much more natural lighting and seating capacity. Our server was Justine who was just great. Our order consisted of was baked clams, calamari, long island iced tea, special braised short ribs, mac & cheese special trout, and bee's knees. Held my daughter's 21st Birthday Party here last week and was very happy!! From the very early planning stages until the end, I had great communication from Morgan, the General Manager. They had a table set up for our food and a table reserved for us to stand/sit at. I brought in a cake and they held it in their cooler until we were ready for it. Morgan even asked if I needed candles, which I did because I forgot. The special touch, they were trick candles and that just added to the fun!!! Highly recommend JoJo's in Webster! This past Saturday night 2 December it was 20 to 5,the restaurant was empty and they said they could not seat Till 8 PM. There's no offer you could sit at the bar and have some appetizers. We had been there before and the food was pretty good. May try it again but it will be a while most places would try to fit you in specially when it's a paying customer. read more

People giving this a two star review are very philanthropic! The 4 of us had dinner 2 had the short rib, notice this wasn't plural. One beef short rib on top of a little polenta. One person had the $26 steak that was the size you get at Don & Bob's. It was tender but no way was it worth the price. Lastly one had mushroom risotto that was an ample portion but very different taste. Happy hour only applies if you sit at the bar so we ordered non-included happy hour drinks at our table. 3 glasses of wine and one cider, $39! I had high hopes considering the limited amount of more upscale dining establishments in Webster. I awarded one star for the hostesses. I called around noon the day before for a reservation (6 people) as the online system stated the only availability was at 9pm. I received a call back around 4pm (when the restaurant opens) and was able to get a reservation within the timeframe I was looking for. Upon arrival, the hostesses were polite, friendly and welcoming. When seating us, I asked the hostess to let the server know that my dad wears heating aids and to please speak loudly/patient with him. This message was conveyed which doesn't always happen when I make that request. I awarded a second star for the food. All six of us ordered different entrees and everyone did enjoy their meals. Highlights were the Cajun Chicken and Short Rib. The burger, steak and pork chop were also very good. We started the meal with fried zucchini, which was fine. Being from New Jersey, we were all expecting a shoestring size cut, whereas we were given more a steak-fry cut. Also disappointed in the lack of specials. I deducted a star for environment/decor as this place is LOUD. It's one cavernous room and sound echos off everything. This was an issue for the previous restaurant in this location and I was disappointed that more wasn't done to dampen the sound. As a table of six, we were seated at a four top with a two top pushed up to accommodate our party. There were at least an inch of difference between the table heights. Minor issue, but I expected more attention to detail with the restaurant being newly refurbished. I deducted a star for service. Our server was sweet and bubbly, but came off as a space cadet. She babbled a lot and it was clear she was new to serving. Often overreacting to simply requests like, can we have water and bread. Our plates sat on the table way too long once we finished eating. At that point, the manager came around to ask how everything was and we had to request to have the table cleared and the check. I deducted the last star for the bar service. First, I was expecting a better cocktail menu. I wanted to see 8-10 high-end cocktails whereas they had a list of basics. Also the bar area was so packed but they didn't have a dedicated bartender for the restaurant tables, so there was a very long delay on our drinks. I wouldn't expect 20 minutes between orders for gin and tonics, bottled beer (we had to request a glass) and a glass of wine. I'll wait a few months and see if my friends have better experiences than we did before I would consider returning. read more

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was very friendly. Our server, Justine, was very helpful. I had the pear and kale salad with tofu added. Some places just add chunks of tofu without much thought, but here it was prepared wonderfully. The tofu was sliced thin, toasted, and seasoned. The salad was fresh and flavorful. My partner had the swordfish special and raved about how well it was prepared and so tasty. Our other guest had the Jojo burger with Mac and cheese. It looked delicious ! New location just opened in Webster. Decor and atmosphere is great. However they are still working out the kinks with service speed. Waited over an hour to get our cold bread for the table and then another 30 minutes for our apps and then 4 minutes later, out come our entrees. Confused and crowded table. Food and drinks are pretty expensive for what you get. $12 wedge salad was boring and disappointing. Pizza was good but pricey. Fantastic customer service and great food! We made a reservation online but when we got to the restaurant last night there was no record of it. The floor manager Kate offered us a table near the bar in a congested area. We declined and asked if there was a table in the dining room. She suggested that we have a seat at the bar because a table might becoming available soon. We ordered drinks and very quickly Kate came and a table in the dining room was available. Ada was our very attentive server! We enjoyed a lovely meal on our date night! When our bill came there were no drinks on it.
