Albunn Coffee House continues to be one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. This was my first visit since the expansion and I was overjoyed to observe all of the available space. The expansion was much needed, as I had some crowded previous experiences and found this to be one of the downsides of the location. The expansion has truly helped the shop to reach its full potential. The demand was clearly visible as I stopped in around 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night and found it was quite busy, with patrons coming and going. I ordered a strawberry refresher and found a cozy reading spot. The barista who took my order was so sweet. I really enjoyed her kind personality. As always the dessert case was filled with appetizing treats, though I did not indulge during this visit, I love getting a look at them. They are always pretty. So happy to see Albunn doing well, as it as a great addition to East avenue. The shop has great hours (love being able to get drinks in the evening) and seems to be enjoyed by the community. read more

Went on a Saturday night. Salt Caramel Latte tasted as a regular cup of coffee $7.00 for hot 12oz. Biscoff Latte was excellent! $7.00 for Hot 12oz Traditiona Bee Bite $7.00. Decent size to be shared! However tasted very stale and lacking flavor. I'm glad we tried this place to see what all the craze is about. I see it being a hit because us beautiful and location is great but no need to repeat visit. We had to order twice because they cashier didn't get our correct order, maybe a language issue or the noice level. read more

Albunn was great! The interior was trendy and brightly lit, there were a number of unique drinks and beautiful pastries. The service was great too, and they were very helpful as I was choosing a drink. This was a great place to hang out and catch up with friends, both in their indoor and outdoor seating. It seems like it would be a good place to study too. They had some smaller tables, some 4 person tables, and some bar style seating. It's a great addition to the Rochester coffee scene! I visited on a Saturday in the summer and found it surprisingly easy to find street parking as well. read more

The location is cute with more seating behind the coffee bar and the workers are very nice. The wait time however for their drinks is just too long. The drinks are good I've had both their lattes and their signature teas. Nothing really stood out. Their tea is pretty good with their spices shining through beautifully. We stopped in when it finally wasn't so busy there was no hope of ordering, much less finding parking. 9:30pm on a Thursday night, so not slammed, but also not close to open or close. The place was a disaster - dirty tables, dirty floor, counters dirty. This is especially glaring in the incredibly brightly lit space at night. Maybe it had been a busy day, so we ordered. Ordering felt rushed, like the person behind the register would rather be doing anything else and had a ton to do. The two other folks working weren't especially busy so who knows what that was. We ordered an adeni tea, a hot latte, and an iced latte along with two items from the case. The drinks each came out about five minutes apart, while there was no line and no other customers and three employees working on them. I've never had a cream cheese filled macaron labeled as "vanilla" and I hope I never do again. The tea was not good - overly hot, causing the tea to be bitter, and not at all spiced. The lattes were poorly prepared and the lower-quality syrup used in one provided a terrible back-taste. I know Henrietta isn't everyone's favorite destination but don't waste your time here, go over there and have a well-crafted drink with a great pastry in a clean spot with good service. read more

Absolutely beautiful new coffee house in the heart of Rochester! I came in with family to try it out and we weren't disappointed! I ordered the banana Matcha. My mom ordered the coconut cloud Matcha and we ordered a raspberry vanilla torte to share for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious! I do have to say the dessert was very overpriced but still really good! I love that they had free Wi-Fi and lots of tables to sit and work on your computer at, which is great as a college student. Finally, a Yemeni coffee shop in Rochester that rivals Raha in Buffalo! I've been here countless times since they opened, and it never disappoints. The interior is cozy with a few tables--small, but welcoming. They also offer outdoor seating, which is a nice touch when the weather is good. The menu has something for everyone, but my personal favorite is the pistachio latte--it's absolutely delicious. For fall, I've been loving their pumpkin spice latte, which has become my new seasonal go-to. Albunn also serves pastries from Special Occasions Bakery, and they're always fresh and tasty. Service is generally great, though it can get a bit busy at times with a line. They also have a rewards program, and I've earned quite a few free drinks already--definitely a nice perk! Parking is convenient, with options right out front, on the side street, and a nearby lot where they'll validate your parking. Tried out this new coffee spot on East Ave and I'm glad I did! It's a Yemeni coffee shop, run by Yemeni folks, and the space is bright and welcoming. They've got both indoor seating and some outdoor tables for the warmer months. For reference, it's right across the street from Veneto. They can make any drink hot or iced, I went with the Salted Caramel Iced Latte. It was good, just a bit too sweet for me, but I didn't realize I could adjust the sweetness since it was my first time there. They also have pastries and etc. It was pretty busy for a Monday around 11am, and while the staff was super friendly, they did seem a little overwhelmed with orders. Parking is mostly street, but there's also a nearby lot you give them your license plate info for that, though I'd recommend calling ahead to double check how it works. Another favorite coffee spot with the BEST hours so you can literally get your fix from early morning til late at night. My two favorites are the Albunn latte with cardamom, and the Pistachio latte - the nuttiness of the pistachio is such a great combo with coffee! A few things to note: Most Yemeni coffee is a dark roast; they don't offer anything else here, but the robust flavor is really balanced with the richness of dairy milk and the sweeteners and flavors. Sort of like, in order to balance the sweetness, you need a dark roast as the base. And I feel like it really works (PS I'm not usually a dark roast fan...) Don't do dairy? They do have alternate milks - last time I was there I had a choice of oat or almond. You just have to ask. Want something to snack on? They have an amazing assortment of pastries and desserts that are as beautiful to look at as they taste. Want something seasonal? They've got you covered! Their fall menu includes a S'mores latte, a red velvet latte and of course pumpkin spice - and though I personally like it when there's more spice, and a little less sweet, I treat these coffees like a dessert. Not something for every day, but definitely enjoyed when I do splurge. Sign up for their points system and you'll get alerts on your phone for daily/weekly specials, like half price espresso and discounts after a certain hour. read more

Was in the area for my son's doctor's appointment and was passing by to see a new Yemeni cafe on East Ave near N. Union and across from Veneto. Their soft opening is tomorrow (6/4/25) but they are open for their drink selections. The place is beautifully decorated and ample amount of seating. Decided to try their Yemen dark roast coffee (Mofowar) and it did not disappoint! The owner also recommended the Adeni tea which is a milk tea with spices and a bit sweeter. Definitely going to be a great addition to the East Ave area. Can't wait to come back to try their pastries and other drinks. read more

Went back and got the bee bite with a mango matcha latte this time. Drinks here are terrific! Syrup for drinks are not in excess so it didn't taste too sweet or fake.
