What a cute spot! Love the plants, wall paper, the overall look. My drink was DELICIOUS!! I did an iced chai with espresso and their banana bread flavor and cold foam. Perfectly iced. Not too much, but also enough so it's cold! Also, this is one of the most delicious cold foams I've ever had! I sadly couldn't taste any banana flavor though. My only feedback would be to add some signage on the back door. I had a stroller and wasn't able to go through the front. I was going to leave, but decided to walk around the back of the building. I found the unmarked door and just went for it. Glad I did :) The baristas were also very friendly and laid back. I had my two babies with me and the barista encouraged me to let my son touch the wind chime hanging in the corner, and that made his morning. Will absolutely be back, love supporting a family owned business.

Always amazing coffee, friendly and helpful staff, and a great atmosphere both inside and on the back patio! I recommend this place to all my friends.

Cute and cozy coffee shop. I got their winter menu - the winter spice with fig, coconut and orange. I didn't fall in love with the bend of flavors, but I like the approach! I would be back if I'm in the vicinity.

Cozy, comfortable, and calm. Very chill and serene; good vibes. The Murphy latte is a must have. About the size of my family room with a few tables.

We had the pleasure of trying Mercury coffee on the go at a non profit event. Their Americano and peppermint mocha was absolutely delicious. The baristi was fantastic. Menu was easy to read and abundant options to choose from. Quick service at this event.

Excellent friendly servers. Highly talented barista. Delicious lattes. Egg sandwiches were OK but they're not made in the house and you could taste they are not freshly made. That said I would absolutely go back. It is small, but we were able to find plenty of seating. Highly recommend stopping in here if you get a chance!

Mercury Coffee is such a vibe. The flavors are always on point, the staff is genuinely so kind, and the whole space just feels warm and inviting. It's the kind of spot where you can settle in, relax, and actually enjoy your coffee. Highly recommend if you're looking for something cozy and consistently good.

new coffee spot in Rochester. it's cozy and has a seasonal menu alongside their regular menu. I tried one of their autumn drinks, the Murphy which is a cinnamon/vanilla latte. I'd say it's alright, your typical latte but I think not enough to justify it being $6.75 lol. Favorite local coffee shop. Nicest folks, delish coffee, coziest vibes. Very inclusive and kind from all of my experiences there.

I always like to look for espresso specials and we were not disappointed by the selection. My fiance got The Snug with maple syrup and molasses bitters. I was too afraid to try any drinks with bitters (I hate how it tastes in cocktails) but I took a sip of The Snug and it tasted great, I would definitely try that next time. I had the B.B.L. latte which had banana syrup, it was more on the sweet side but not overly sweet (I would avoid it if you don't enjoy a sweet palate, try a latte with bitters instead!) It was something unique to try and I was happy with my choice. There was also plenty of seating which is always a huge plus in the winter in Rochester. We had no trouble getting a table. I should also note that there was a very limited food selection here -- about 3 baked goods offered. So if you're looking for food and coffee, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Overall I would happily try out Ugly Duck again! I'm curious if they have outdoor seating in the warmer months.

I'm not sure I'd consider this a good place to study, but it's a nice place to catch up with friends or take a pause outside with a good drink on a patio. The seating inside is somewhat limited, but the patio is beautiful. The buildings will provide natural shade in the afternoon. Parking can also be difficult and limited.

The gentleman who helped me was very friendly and helpful. I decided to tthe borek. It's a pastry that can be made either savory or sweet, I decided to have mine with. Spinach and cheese. I also ordered the baklava, and a little cup of the Turkish coffee (whoa!!). The Borek , I didn't look that big in the case spoiler alert, it was.... The dough was wonderfully flaky , and the filling was amazingly savory. I liked the spinach, and I'm not sure what type of cheese it was. But it played with the spinach perfectly it reminded me very much of a spanakopita, which I also love. The baklava was also excellent. It was perfectly flaky on the outside, and the honey, and the nuts inside were just fantastic. It is one of the better baklava that I have ever had. Now let's talk about the Turkish coffee. I've had Lebanese coffee, and I loved, and Ithought was strong.... the Turkish coffee makes Lebanese coffee taste like decaf that you would get from a cheap corner diner. With just a little bit of milk and sugar, it was perfect it was rich, and it was strong! At this point, I could probably make it to six hours to my destination without a car :). All of this great food, and I was only roughly out the door 20 bucks. For such high-quality food, it was worth it. I hope I'm back in Rochester again, because I would easily stop here again.

I came in for something simple and left fully committed to the experience. The Turkish coffee arrived in the most adorable cup, strong and velvety with that classic, unapologetic depth, paired with a soft, rose-kissed Turkish delight that made the whole thing feel like a ritual rather than just a caffeine stop. I took my time to enjoy every sip of it. And then the rice pudding. Served warm in a rustic clay bowl, topped generously with pistachios--it hit that perfect balance of creamy, lightly sweet, and comforting without being heavy. One of those desserts that sneaks up on you and suddenly you're scraping the bottom of the dish. The space itself is cozy and thoughtfully put together, and the people working there genuinely elevate it. Kind, welcoming, and happy to let you linger a bit, which feels increasingly rare. The first thing I noticed is how healthy and vibrant the plants look and to me that was the winning point. This is a great cozy spot for folks who don't enjoy social interactions and high energy vibes. It's more for the slow in the moment experience to sip and relax.

Roast master told me he does the sourcing, blending and roasting. This one had Ethiopian and Colombian beans. Fabulous blend of earthy and chocolate tones. I bought a pound to prepare with my French Press at hotel and the roaster grinded it to a perfect coarse. Side note: please never drink coffee from those hotel room machines.
