Morpheus with Purple Heart & wild chaild
    Karlee B.

Visited this place earlier this week for the first time. Such a cute concept and can't wait to come back in warmer weather to sit on the patio. We tried the Morpheus and Wild Chaild and LOVED both. If you're a lavender / fruity fan, the Morpheus is for you. More warming drinks, then the Wild Chaild. But we loved both (just have different preferences). The barista was also super friendly and welcoming! We will be back!

It was delicious; everything tasted sooo good, especially the oranges on the side!! The staff were super friendly and made the whole visit easy and welcoming. I loved the options of sweet and salty that they have displayed (I was tempted by everything) Definitely a solid spot - will be back!

Tree Town Cafe is one that I wouldn't have found if I didn't see it on a list of Rochester coffee shops. I feel like this cafe is sort of a hidden gem. I've been here twice-- once in the summer for an evening dinner on the patio, and most recently for a cozy study session in the winter. It's open decently late (for a coffee shop in Rochester) on weekdays (7pm), which is perfect for studying. They have plenty of parking in their parking lot. Their outdoor seating is placed directly in front of their building with plenty of shade, or in the grassy area next to the parking lot. It seems to be a kid-friendly cafe as well, since they have play areas. They have a cute indoor shop with food-related gifts like baked goodies, coffee, chocolate bars, and even dog treats. The service was wonderful, and they were very willing to make a call to the baker to check my allergies. There's not a lot of indoor seating, but it was enough to find a spot to study. The space heater in the small room was essential, although it got a little cool next to the glass once it started to get dark. As I mentioned, they do have free WiFi.

The cafe au lait with skim was great and the latte was very good too (smooooth). We were so hungry we didn't take pictures of the sandwiches :/. Service was kind and Amy, who started only two weeks ago, was super pleasant a d helpful. Seeing her smiling face would be a real treat if we were regulars. The atmosphere in the Armory Building licated just off the 490 highway in the fancy Cobb Hill area in a repurposed older building is modern, clean, sleek as well as light and airy. There is great natural light for working or catching up with friends. ExCELLENT baked goods! We also ordered a chocolate croissant and a LARGE as your hand molasses cookie for later... but did take a bite out of each, and they were awesome! Recommend!! Again out to Amy who was pleasant and terrific!! Too bad we are 't locals as we'd definitely be regulars.

It was ready very quickly so I could grab it and get back to my desk. The paninis are very big, so I'm glad I just got a half. I've also had their spinach salad, turkey sandwich, pesto tomato panini, BLT, cookies and iced espresso-ground red rooibos tea. They were all very good. I guess I've been there more often than I realized. The cafe manager, Stephanie, is also super friendly and helpful and ready with suggestions when I can't decide what I'd like for lunch. It's also nice to know that I can bring my gluten-free and vegetarian friends here. There are good options for both of them including lettuce wraps, tofu rice bowls and more. They've recently introduced a specialty coffee menu, but I haven't tried much of that yet.

I used to love eating there and was there almost once a week. Now I go to this cafe at least once a month and today decided that I will not risk it anymore. I'm either bringing lunch or leaving the museum and eating elsewhere. There have been numerous different cooks and cashiers since Mario's left. There was a while a few months ago that the food and service were getting better but now there are different people again. My salad today was disgusting! Most of the lettuce was wilted or brown. The cook came out to take an order and wore his food handling gloves while at the cash register taking orders and payments and then went right back to the kitchen with the same gloves while I was eating my food. I will NOT risk spending money on the food here again!
