Last time I came in, there were five people ahead of me, one person doing everything, and I ended up leaving. Today was better someone rang me up, and there were only a couple people ahead of me, so it moved faster this was a plus! Honestly, it feels a little hit or miss these days. Get my smoothie, check out the grab and go cooler, and learn more about what this great spot has to offer. The bulk of their biz is meal prep and nutrition planning - and they seem to have a strong clientele of Rochesterians. They are conveniently located in the Lac De Ville plaza and I was in and out within five minutes. Everyone was SO kind and helpful, and my shake was really delicious. I am a protein powder SKEPTIC. I think it makes everything taste like diet chalk. I am pleased to report my banana shake did NOT taste like chalk, and I downed the whole thing throughout the course of an afternoon. I am grateful for anything that includes calorie counts these days. As I am aiming to be a bit more mindful about how much I am consuming in a given day (and of what!) this is really helpful. Given that we're home so much, I haven't had an issue making time for meal planning and grocery shopping. When we get back to "normal" and time is taken up by events and other happenings, I would ABSOLUTELY consider doing a meal program through PLN. No more samples, but I picked up a small green juice at the market this past weekend and WOW. This is my favorite green juice I've had. Pears, kale, parsley, apple and more are juiced to smooth perfection. They have beautiful packaging, a huge variety of blends, and I really can't wait to pick up a large haul to get me through the week the next time I head to the market. A few notes: they are open on Saturday ONLY and are located in the shed on the left hand side, about halfway through, when you enter by Zimmerman's. They have a $10 minimum on credit cards so, like many booths in the market, be sure to have cash on hand if you're looking for just one juice to enjoy while you shop. The juice is pricey, but actually more reasonable than Wegmans or some of the other juiceries in town, AND completely locally sourced. The market has been amazing throughout the pandemic. Masking is at 100% and even on a busy Saturday, people are moving in a more reasonable way and giving more SPACE, which is a welcome change I hope sticks around post-pandemmy. Happy juicing!
