Ice cream is okay but pricey compared to other ice cream place. I came here on Saturday around 3-4pm and stayed in line for about 5 minutes waiting for ordering. I got 3 scoops with 3 different flavors: caramel apple, Boston cream, cheese. I barely tasted other 2 flavors, only the apple stand out. And the cup was no bigger than 2 scoops cup compared to other ice cream shop, possibly smaller. The parking lot is tiny and can't fit more than 10 cars or so. read more

The way ordering works here is that you walk up to their ordering windows, place your order, and pick it up at a different window. It's a walk-up drive-in type shop. You eat outside either on the benches they have provided, walking around, in your car, or take it to go. I got scooped ice cream for my family and I. We tried flavors like Cherry Almomd, Butterscotch Ripple, Almond Chocolate Coconut, and Mint Fudge Crunch. We all liked our respective flavor choices. The ice cream was flavorful. My pick was Cherry Almond, and it was quite to my liking. It had an abundance of almonds with just the right amount of cherry flavor. Amazing texture, it was fluffy yet creamy. Has a soft, kind of milky flavor, the mint wasnt super powerful in an okay way. Did not care for the sea salt caramel toffee favor, it was really really salty and I like salt, I promise! I always go for the salted caramel ice creams but ooof this one was really too much, i didn't even want to eat it. Don't recommend that flavor, but maybe someone dropped the salt in that batch and it's usually more balanced? Their covid rules were a bit confusing. You can order a cone, they'll put the ice cream in the cone but they won't hand u the cone, they put the come upside down in a dish, set the dish down and scoot it over to you. I don't know of that's necessary and I found it kind of odd but at least they're thinking about and care about patrons safety. read more

The parking lot was very crowded, but the line was not that bad, so I'm not sure where all those people were?? I hit the line fairly well, and there were two windows open and two families being served. I happened to notice a sign for Cookie Craze ice cream as I was walking up, and it was BLUE!!! Judge me all you want, but I'm a sucker for things in pretty colors. :) It was on the list of flavors that day, so the decision was made! What I wanted was a peanut butter cup sundae, so I still got that, with the Cookie Craze ice cream. It was good. I absolutely love Bruster's home made ice cream! It is so creamy and they have a big selection everyday. The flavors change everyday also which is the only thing that sometimes bothers me! When you try one flavor and love it you better get a pint for home that day because it could be a week or two when they make it again. Of course with all the daily choices I always manage to find a flavor or 2 I enjoy. They also make all kinds of sundaes, ice cream cakes and pies and anything else you want ice cream related. I am a fan of peach melba which I don't think I've seen since last fall or late summer. When I got my first notice (yes, you can register to receive notice on your favorites!)they made it I was there! With the virus you can only get dishes of ice cream and not cones. They also aren't accepting cash so have your card ready. When they are at a normal state they have several tables to sit at also but those are closed for now. As usual with me I forgot a picture mostly because I started eating and forget everything else! Next time I will take a picture of the days flavors (if I remember) and the shop itself. Awesome walk up ice cream stand here in western NY. I was thinking excited to see something that reminded us of small town KY ice cream stands. So many flavors and choices, the kids had a hard time. This is my favorite ice cream place in the area. A few of the other locations have closed but the Webster location is still as busy as always. The icecream is great here. It's creamy, rich, and not too dense. They make the icecream right on site and you can taste the freshness. Definitely get "hard" icecream instead of soft serve. Waffle cones are also made in house and are a must have if you are getting a cone. They rotate flavors but always have 20 or more. They usually have dairy free, sugar free, and other options. Thursdays are BYO banana day. Half priced banana splits if you bring your own banana. Since they don't actually make you use the banana, this essentially means a half price 3 scoop sundae. It gets pretty busy after dinner on Thursdays so be prepared. This location stays open all year. The icecream cakes and pies are both good. If you call a day or two in advance, they will make you a custom cake or pie. Otherwise they have a few options on hand and wrote on the cake for me while I waited. The cake has an actual baked cake layer as where the pie is all icecream. The pie is what people expect a traditional icecream "cake" to be like. Both have fudge, crunchiest, whipped cream, and other garnishes like Oreo cookies. They have a free rewards program. They give free gifts around your birthday if you sign up and a credit to use after you spend a certain amount. You can't really compare to Abbot's because custard can't really be compared to hard icecream. If you want a sundae or cone, I suggest Bruesters. If you want a dish or cup, go for Abbot's. Mario's is good but Bruesters wins out. read more

You can even go on their website and sign up for a text notifying you when your favorite flavor is available! They also have frozen yogurt and Italian ice but my motto is GO BIG OR GO HOME. I called to place an order for an ice cream pie for my brother's birthday last week. we love the pistachio ice cream however I hadn't been to Bruster's in years so the owner got on the phone and very nicely explained how they only make it for holidays and such because the cost of pistachios is so high. HOWEVER- she went out of her way to make the pistachio ice cream JUST for the pie we ordered and it was absolutely delicious! the pie was perfect and she even included candles, which is an amazing touch.
