While visiting family in Rochester, my niece mentioned The Waffle Factory as an option for…read morebreakfast. It's a house that has been converted into a restaurant. Because of COVID, there was outside seating. I was okay with that. The ordering was swift, but the breakfast took some time to arrive. At least I knew it wasn't microwaved and ready in under 5 minutes. Plus, the texture was not microwaved tough. I had the banana and caramel waffle with scrambled eggs. The waffle came topped with a heaping of bananas and a caramel drizzle, but underneath that the waffle had been drizzled with a glaze that reminded me of cinnamon role glaze. A friend had mixed berry waffle that didn't require syrup because of the cinnamon role glaze. My niece had the moon cakes that were topped with what looked like chocolate and Nutella. I get the hype. I do. Whenever I get back to Rochester, The Waffle Factory will definitely be an option for breakfast.

Went to return a dead plant. I bought it a few weeks ago and tossed the plastic pot it came in …read more The manager gave me a hard time because he said that needed that pot to make the return . Really??? So you find it odd that a customer would replace the cheap pot and place the plant in a nicer one and just hold onto the garbage pot it came in. He was not going to let it go, so I said" fine, but ll be documenting this lack of customer service online. At that point, he said I could exchange it. I went to look and got some other kind of plant. The cashier then said to said manager " shouldn't she have to get the same kind of plant? " I was totally taken aback by the rudeness of the employees there. He ultimately allowed me to get the plant I selected. It will be a long time if ever , before I them give them any business.

I do not frequent this location because every time I have come here, whether I go through the drive thru or go inside, it takes FOREVER. Today, I decided to give it one more chance. I ordered ahead on the mobile app, pulled in at 8:03am (yes I know this is a busy time of the day), there were about 10 cars ahead of me and 2-3 cars in the parking lot. I did not pull out of their parking lot until 8:29am....now I understand that everyone is short staffed right now which is why this isn't a one star review but they had about 6-7 people working. I could have gone to a sit down diner and been served in that amount of time. Absolutely unacceptable. If you can, do not waste your time at this location.

I then sent a follow-up email on April 10, which also went unanswered. Additionally, I submitted a complaint through Taco Bell's website and never received any response there either. Based on both the experience itself and the complete lack of follow-up, I highly recommend avoiding this Taco Bell. And given some of the recent headlines about their lettuce, let's just say that doesn't exactly inspire confidence either.
