Went here on the recommendation of EatLocalNewYork and it was a great find! Great spot right off the Lake, across from Seabreeze. Plenty of parking. Lots of outdoor seating and the decor on the inside is cute too. Servers were all busy, but friendly. Ours mentioned that her mom makes the white sauce (which is fantastic by the way, like a much better version of tzatziki), so maybe the owners daughter? She was great. Food was fantastic. I got the lamb shish grill and wife got the donner grill. Both were fantastic. The lamb was super tender and flavorful. We'll definitely be back.

This is such a cute little place right across from Seabreeze. I cannot believe this is the first time we have tried it. We went here for my husband's birthday with our toddler. Server was friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to get/try. The falafel is amazing! This had to be the best falafel I have ever had. They're not supposed to be dried out? Definitely get the falafel! The main food was good as well. Desserts were to die for. Pistachio everything. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes and soak up the atmosphere. I am dying to try the Turkish coffee since everything else was amazing.

What a wonderful restaurant. The decor is luscious, with a lot of foliage and red and black accents. We ordered appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Everything was served quickly, and was fresh and delicious. If you've never had Turkish food, I definitely recommend you start here. The staff is friendly and will help You figure out what you may like!

We 3 friends had a great meal here Saturday night. They have their liquor license but we stuck with water, coffee and tea. Beren was friendly & efficient! I had the salmon pasta for dinner. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had crispy skin! The pasta was delicious with the garlic cream sauce. My friend from out of town loved her meal too. They have a lovely dessert case - take a look before you order. I had to slow down on the bread so I would have room for dessert. We jokingly asked for a sampler platter of the baklava and Beren created one for us! They had 6 different kinds of baklava - hazelnut was a new one for me - we passed around the plates and all had a bite of each. They were sooo good! I hope they add the sampler platter to the menu lol. And, of course I will be back - love this place!

Very neat restaurant! Super friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious with fast service. The lamb platter was fire!

This place is a hidden gem! Own parking lot across from seabreeze. Front and back entrance, we went in the front and was greeted to be sat down. The decor was inviting and we passed right by the dessert case. Got ice water with lemon order our food and bread with oil was delivered. But the bread was warm soft and cut in little pieces. The oil was mixed with a pomegranate sour but it was sweet. So delicious. I got the lamb sote and the flavor was on point. Lamb mixed with onion pepper tomato and mushroom with cheese on top mixed with a sauce and rice on the side. We will be returning to try the many other items on the menu and a dessert

I went here a bit ago and am a little late catching up on reviews. As I recall, the restaurant needs some updating both inside and out but the food and service were great and the views were spectacular.

We went here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was. This is a family owned and operated business. The mother, fathered and teal daughters work here. They bring you a basket of bread with oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. I had the Lamb Sote plate with a side salad and my wife had the Iskender plate. Both were delicious. For desert we took home Baklava as we were too full to eat it here. I would highly recommend this place.

Dinner tonight at Anatolia Mediterranean on Culver Road with views of Lake Ontario. Great Turkish/Mediterranean food, including hummus, chicken shish, and baklava. Pasta options as well. They offer generous portions, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. The restaurant is cozy with an elegant atmosphere, romantic music and fantastic food!

I kept hearing about this place and decided to try out out after work this evening. Amazing!!! The owner was so nice and insisted I wait for my take out and enjoy a free cup of Turkish tea while he prepared my food. The decor is tasteful, upscale, and has a trend feel to it. I liked the vibe! They do not have a liquor license yet; therefore, the owner invites guests to bring in their own favorite bottle(s) of wine to enjoy during their meal...(no cork fees)! The pictures speak for itself, but let me tell you the food was outstanding. By far the BEST STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES I have ever had. Everything there is homemade and fresh. I will definitely be back and love supporting small businesses like this in my neighborhood. I hope anyone reading this gives this place a chance, because you won't regret it. Well worth the trip, and gorgeous sun sets close by at the lake.

Our dinner group of 7 had a fabulous time at Anatolia last Wednesday evening for an early dinner. Our waitress was professional, patient and fun throughout the meal. The menu items of special note were the dolma and hummus appetizers served with fresh bread chunks and an oil/ vinaigrette dip. Everyone raved about the lamb mix and the lamb shish kabob. The cheesecake dessert was fresh and smooth and the Turkish tea ( not for the faint of heart ) is always a special treat. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet . Anatolia is a very special place for dinner !

Nice ambiance, mediocre service, nice owner But unfortunately overpriced and mid food Iskender kabab had too much butter/oil and lost it taste therefore And the lamb was dry Wont go again

The Owner is Extremely Rude!!!…read more We stopped in to get fish dinners recently. After looking at their menu, my husband had a question. He asked the owner his question, and the owner replied, "Can't you read?". My husband said, "Excuse me!". The owner tried to change his tune, but it was too late, and we just walked out. There are so many places to go to for a great fish dinner (The Winfield Grill, Chick'n Out, Bill Gray's, Palmers,...), where you'll not only get great food, but far superior services and get treated with respect. In addition to this owner's terrible attitude, this place has a "Very Fishy Odor", and that's never a good sign when purchasing fish from a "Fish Market". We will never go back to Captain Jim's, and strongly suggest that others do the same.

Rather than chunks of soft white and red meat and visible claw meat, it was cut up big squarish chunks of white, brown, and rubbery meat. I'm sure it was lobster, but the preparation/composition was very different from other places. The lobster was overcooked and rubbery. There was not enough butter. It was in a plain hotdog bun rather than a toasted brioche bun. I had to add more butter. I think you should try a warm buttered lobster roll from Nolan's on Canandaigua ($25), the restaurant or the snack shack, to know what it should look and taste like. For this price the quality has to improve... I won't be back unless I see pictures that it's better. I was really really really looking forward to having a go-to lobster roll spot.

Good parking and really nice waitstaff. The wine was a generous pour, which is always nice... but then we ate. Our first course was a "shrimp cocktail", which was six giant shrimp that had long outgrown their flavor, and a cocktail sauce that was extremely heavy on the horseradish. Second course: I had the Italian Wedding Soup. Husband had a side salad which he said was just fine. The soup was a large bowl of soup, and by the time we got halfway through, our entrees arrived, so we set the entrees aside to finish our sides. The soup was fairly tasteless; in fact it was very similar to the Progresso canned soup of the same name. I couldn't eat it all. A cup of soup would have worked much better. And then we turned to our entrees. Mine was Chicken Parmigiana and husband had spaghetti with marinara with a chicken cutlet. The amount of spaghetti in the big white bowl was - and I am not exaggerating - about the size of a soccer ball, with the chicken riding on top. The marinara on my husband's pasta tasted like tomato sauce without much of anything else. The Vodka sauce on mine was better. Cardinal sin of Italian dining: there was water in my husband's pasta that mingled with the sauce until it was like tomato soup. But why am I complaining about too much food, even when it wasn't that tasty? Because it didn't feel like dining, it felt like feeding time at the zoo. I suggest they concentrate their portions a bit and add flavor. I hope their $58 steaks are better. We brought home our leftovers, but we're going to add some veggies & spices to them. I really wanted to like this place, and I'm sad that I didn't.

If you're looking for a spot to dine on a pleasant day, I would recommend this spot without reservation. It's right on the lake and I felt myself immediately relax into the sunshine and views. If you look at my pics, it looks a bit hazy. Canadian wildfires were causing some smoke and haze but on a brilliant sunshiny day this spot would be outstanding. We arrived around 11:30am and were able to be seated straight away and order. As we sat, the patio definitely began to fill though! For my lunch I got their grilled salmon salad. It comes with grilled salmon over a bed of greens with cucumber, onions, tomato, and mandarin oranges with a side of ranch. All the ingredients were wonderfully fresh. The salad and salmon were basic but solidly good. Our server was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

First, we sat at the bar while we waited what the waitress said was 40 minutes (turned out to me much longer as people were clearly seated before us and came in after us!) The drinks we ordered were good but steeply priced at $12 for a small plastic cup loaded with ice. The bar tender was a little snotty at first but then lightened up and we liked him. Our 40 minute wait turned out to be at least an hour and half. Finally we were seated. We had already decided what we would try for dinner. I chose the coconut shrimp which I always get and love. I ordered it with cole slaw. We told the waiter we wanted separate checks which today with the technology is very easy. My friend ordered the fish fry with rice "pilaf" and coleslaw. We waited a long while for our food. We asked for water and waited at least 20 minutes and even though I asked for lemon and straws none were delivered. Another long wait as I won't drink from the glass directly. Finally got that and another maybe 45 minute wait for our entrees. The plate was bare and overly empty as 6 shrimp lay flat on the plate and a bowl of slaw sat on the other side of the plate. O M G. Have you ever eaten plain shredded cabbage with very watery mayo over it? No flavor at all and no carrots or anything extra just watery , inedible cabbage. Strike one. So I was excited to try the shrimp hoping it tasted much better than it looked. Nope. Cardboard with cooked wheat flour and a piece of coconut here and there enough to attempt to identify it as having coconut. Shrimp was dry as cardboard and tasteless. Not even enough coconut to get stuck in my teeth! The sauce to disguise the horrible flavorless shrimp was horrible so I asked for cocktail sauce which at least added some flavor. We were starving so we ate and did not see our server for at least another 45 minutes or I would have complained. Overall sincerely the worst meal I have EVER had. I would have been happier sacrificing the $32 that this pathetic entree cost by tossing it to the lake gods for offering us a lovely sunset. I won't talk about my friends fish fry. It was soggy and tasteless and the "pilaf" inedible as was the coleslaw. She wasted even more $ on her food (with a dessert) with the very mediocre key lime pie which was promised to be the best in the area. (Another big NOPE). She also had bruschetta which I tried and it was disgusting but again we were starved. I ordered the seafood bisque)we had these while waiting at the bar. The bisque was ok probably from a can and again the wait being so long I would have eaten saltines alone. Overall I can truthfully say for both my friend and I that it was the absolute WORST dining experience of our adult lives. I will NEVER return and will tell EVERYONE I know to stay FAR FAR AWAY!! You can go up on the berm and watch the same sunset. It would have been much more pleasant. Between us we WASTED well over $100. Everything fell wayyyyy short with absolutely nothing at all up to par. "Food" incredibly overpriced and I would not have been happy with my meal at half the price and I speak for my friend as well. Horrible service, horribly crowded, horrible excuse for what they call food. I call it something I would not even give to a pet. Obviously our advice is to find another place to spend all that $. Maybe you will actually be served something edible. Oh yeah and the waiter forgot (in all those hours) to bring separate checks. Lol. What a sad joke the experience was.
