All right, I've only been there once. I only shared two appetizers and two cookies, but I know I'm going back! The falafels were delicious! Different than what I'm used to, but in a good way. The other appetizer was a lentil mixture in a kind of dough. They had many fillings to choose from. I'll try the cheese next time. The lamb dishes sound really inviting. I'm for sure going back to try some lamb. And some chicken. I'll have to go back a few more times to try everything that sounded good to me. Honestly, it's worth a visit. This is such a cute little place right across from Seabreeze. I cannot believe this is the first time we have tried it. We went here for my husband's birthday with our toddler. Server was friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to get/try. The falafel is amazing! This had to be the best falafel I have ever had. They're not supposed to be dried out? Definitely get the falafel! The main food was good as well. Desserts were to die for. Pistachio everything. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes and soak up the atmosphere. We 3 friends had a great meal here Saturday night. They have their liquor license but we stuck with water, coffee and tea. Beren was friendly & efficient! I had the salmon pasta for dinner. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had crispy skin! The pasta was delicious with the garlic cream sauce. My friend from out of town loved her meal too. They have a lovely dessert case - take a look before you order. I had to slow down on the bread so I would have room for dessert. We jokingly asked for a sampler platter of the baklava and Beren created one for us! They had 6 different kinds of baklava - hazelnut was a new one for me - we passed around the plates and all had a bite of each. They were sooo good! This place is a hidden gem! Own parking lot across from seabreeze. Front and back entrance, we went in the front and was greeted to be sat down. The decor was inviting and we passed right by the dessert case. Got ice water with lemon order our food and bread with oil was delivered. But the bread was warm soft and cut in little pieces. The oil was mixed with a pomegranate sour but it was sweet. So delicious. I got the lamb sote and the flavor was on point. Lamb mixed with onion pepper tomato and mushroom with cheese on top mixed with a sauce and rice on the side. We will be returning to try the many other items on the menu and a dessert read more

We went here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was. This is a family owned and operated business. The mother, fathered and teal daughters work here. They bring you a basket of bread with oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping. I had the Lamb Sote plate with a side salad and my wife had the Iskender plate. Both were delicious. Our dinner group of 7 had a fabulous time at Anatolia last Wednesday evening for an early dinner. Our waitress was professional, patient and fun throughout the meal. The menu items of special note were the dolma and hummus appetizers served with fresh bread chunks and an oil/ vinaigrette dip. Everyone raved about the lamb mix and the lamb shish kabob. I kept hearing about this place and decided to try out out after work this evening. Amazing!!! The owner was so nice and insisted I wait for my take out and enjoy a free cup of Turkish tea while he prepared my food. The decor is tasteful, upscale, and has a trend feel to it. I liked the vibe! They do not have a liquor license yet; therefore, the owner invites guests to bring in their own favorite bottle(s) of wine to enjoy during their meal...(no cork fees)! The pictures speak for itself, but let me tell you the food was outstanding. By far the BEST STUFFED GRAPE LEAVES I have ever had. Everything there is homemade and fresh. The food is magnificent! We were a group of four and ordered family style. We started out with an appetizer plate of four different spreads. EZME - a spicy chopped mixture of peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and olive oil; LEBNI - a cheese-like yogurt dip mixed with dill and garlic; BABAGANUSH - eggplant, lemon juice, and garlic; HUMUS - garbanzo beans, tahini,, lemon juice and garlic. All four were the best I have ever eaten. They were served and eaten with a still warm bread that was obviously house made. We ordered a an additional side Greek salad which was delicious but unnecessary because the plate came with a couple of small salads. For dinner, we got another combo plate of beef, chicken and lamb prepared in several different ways. Again, an outstanding introduction to first class Mediterranean preparations. Two members of our party ordered dessert and both were outstanding. One was a combination of a honey-soaked pastry filled with clotted cream and the other was chocolate mousse cake. Anatolia's Café is mostly a family affair. The father is the chef, the mother is desert chef, the daughters wait and buss the tables, and we are told that the son handles the books. The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. Altogether, I would say this is as good a dining experience as you can find in Rochester. If you are looking for a place to eat, and you like Seabreeze amusement park it is right across the road. In terms of quantity, we took leftovers home from our meal. read more

I went here for my birthday dinner. It's a warm comfy little restaurant with a great view. The staff are very friendly people. They have the most authentic Turkish tea I've had! I can still taste it, it was so delicious. They immediately served us some delicious bread and olive oil when we were seated. We started out with Hummus and Falafel. The hummus was perfect. The falafel was crisp, perfectly seasoned with the best pickled beets for the side. We got the Lamb Sish and Mixed Pide for entree. So well done. For dessert we Ofcourse got ourselves a Kunafa and some assorted cookies from their decadent selection! Everything was so well made and fulfilling for the belly and heart! It was take-out so I don't know what it was like inside of the restaurant/what kind of atmosphere it had. However, everything I ordered came promptly and was packaged well with somewhat decent portions given the price. All of it was very tasty. Got the Lentil Kibbeh, Lentil Borek, Feta Cheese Pide w/ Spinach and an egg added, and Kazandibi. The Pide was honestly just okay for me. The crust was very thin and crunchy (which I've heard is more authentic) and not a ton of cheese on top. What irked me a little was the amount of spinach added - for a $2 topping you would expect a bit more substance. The pide did come with the little side salad as it does in-person. The kibbeh & borek came with some pickled vegetables, which were all good. The Kazandibi was my personal fave. They put cinnamon on top and it was so good! Definitely worth going to for an in-person experience rather than take-out because it's obviously more expensive as take-out + hotter in-person but you do get good quality for what you pay for! read more

The food was astoundingly good. From the fresh bread with oil and vinegar while we waited to the starters we selected -- Lebni and Sicara Boregi were both fantastic. The Lebni (Yogurt garnished with Dill, Garlic, and Walnut) specifically was one of the best things we've ever eaten. We could not get enough of it! The dressing on the Shephard's salad was also wonderful and the salad contained a lovely mix of uniformly chopped veggies. Great food and service and the ambiance was different but fun. The Cesar salad while different was delicious. My son had the chicken soup which had a yummy citrus and savory taste. We shared a mixed lamb plate and the lamb chop and ground lamb was mouth watering. We didn't have reservations @ 4:30 on a Saturday. It was very crowded. They sat us on a lounge sofa with pillows for a back rest. Pretty but very uncomfortable! We didn't get the photo menu at first. No idea what things were. We ordered Calamari & Falafel as appetizers. Very disappointed. The calamari was obviously pre frozen and a tiny amount. The falafel was little and all the exact same. Not round. The hummus was very dry and lacking garlic. On to our next: all our orders were overcooked!
