    Chicken Shawarma Pita (Toasted)
    Marissa M.

My dad and I ordered food to go and ended up sitting down really quick to eat our food. The service was great, the kid who let us sit down with our to go order was really nice and kept asking us if we needed anything even though we had ordered to go so that was really nice. My chicken Shawarma pita tasted really good, but I was shocked at how small it is. There was barely any pickle in it, pretty much just chicken. My dad had a much larger meal, but he said the taste of the chicken just wasn't his favorite. It's not a very cozy place to sit down so I would suggest getting food to go.

Ordered online for pickup and it was ready within 15 mins. The inside doesn't look super promising but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The wrap was exactly what I was looking for with tender and flavorful meat (I wish they put more meat in it actually). Fries were crispy which I loved. Would try this place again!

We visited in a Saturday evening. The place wasn't crowded. They seem to do a ton of take out. We were greeted promptly and told to pick where we wanted to sit. Food came out pretty quickly and was delicious and fresh. Dalia's is Definitely worth a try.

What a friendly and kind family that has run their business for years! Great food, looking forward to trying more. Each item was flavorful and prepared fresh. Appreciate that they offer what they know and do best.

I brought my husbands grandmother here for lunch. She won't eat garlic, hummus or feta! The chef and owner came out, talked to her and made her a dish she loved! We will be back for sure.

Great spanikopita, baba ganoush, flaffel and dolmas. Good pizza crust is nice and thin but sogged out a bit w great toppings, good consistency to the hummus but it lacked flavor. There was only one server on a random Monday and the place was packed including a table of like 10. She tried her best, but I saw some folks leave and the take out was steady. There is a "help wanted" sign in the window if anyone is interested.

I've been craving some Greek food lately and Dalia's hit the spot! I got the combo plate which had a little bit of everything and it was all great. Big portion, enough for 2 meals! Try it out.

Shish Plate with Salad Greens - the steak was delicious! And really fresh greens and fear cheese in generous portions.

Small little restaurant that was bustling with customers who were picking up their to-go orders. I had the Shish Plate with Salad Greens - and the steak was delicious! With really fresh greens and feta cheese in generous portions. We also had the Malazzali Pizza - yummy toppings, but unfortunately the pita was extremely soggy and inedible. My friend had the chicken pesto pasta and said it was good. Overall a good meal- just wouldn't recommend getting the pizza.

I was a bit confused when I walked into this place. I had intended to dine-in but was unsure if they even had an area to sit down. The entrance is the pickup and order station, no one greeted me, and I couldn't find a menu for a minute. The waiting area is very small and there was a disabled man moving carpets around which made me very uncomfortable. I'm unsure if it was the carpets being thrown around, but it smells a bit weird inside. I ordered a Chicken Pita $6.25 and the Baba Ghanouj $6.25 - it was ready in about 3 minutes and I took it to go. I was excited to try this place because the prices are great. The chicken pita is ok - the chickens a bit chewy, could be fresher and have more flavor. I could taste the grilled char though. I'm disappointed with the Baba - the consistency is very thin, obviously made with much more tahini than eggplant and leaves a tingy aftertaste in my mouth. Also, I wasn't given nearly enough pita's to finish it. I'd rather pay an extra couple dollars for these items elsewhere and don't intend on visiting

    Gyro plate on salad

Dalia's was a pleasant surprise for me. I visited for lunch on a Sunday and I was happy to find a restaurant that was not a chain. I ordered the Gyro Plate with Salad and it was a humongous plate of deliciousness. The greens were fresh and crispy. The combination of lean lamb and beef meat was succulent and moist. I loved the addition of sautéed mushrooms and feta cheese, which really tied all the components together to become a hearty meal. The service was friendly and prompt. The food also came out quickly. The portion to price ratio was very high. I don't think a "lunch portion" exists here, so most people will have leftovers (not a bad thing). Overall, I think Dalia serves up quality Mediterranean that's on par (if not better) than the Aladdin's and Sinbad's in Rochester. I'll be back for sure!

Ordered from Dalia's for lunch me and the wife and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the pita were. We both got chicken pitas but one was the shawarma pita. Both tasted delicious and I will gladly add Dalia's to the list of restaurants for Mediterranean cuisine. If the pita tasted that good I can only imagine the rest of the food. It wasn't too rich and it wasn't bland. So I'm comfortable with saying I'll be back. Also, read a review with the tip to order extra garlic sauce on the side, so I'm passing the tip on. Ordered the extra garlic sauce on the side and you won't be disappointed!

Our party included a vegan and two vegetarians, and Aladdin's happened to be right there at the dock. The food was fantastic, including an assortment of their delicious desserts. I have mixed feelings about Aladdin's Natural Eatery in Schoen Place (Pittsford)…read more Pros: Vegan options exist. Outside seating by the canal is nice when the weather cooperates. Our server was reasonably friendly and efficient. Cons: They make it difficult to wait for a table. Pita bread is low quality. Chili was disappointing. They were out of falafel when we last visited. The setting is the best thing going for this place. Our table was outside near the canal, the weather was warm, and sitting by the water was quite pleasant. The problem is that the restaurant doesn't make it easy to wait for a table. They won't serve you a drink while you wait, and they won't call or text you when your table opens up, so you can't slip next door to the bar for a drink without risking your spot. The vegan options are limited but real. The veggie combo plate lets you pick either three or four items from falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, tourlu, sautéed spinach, and tabulee, and there's also a falafel pita pocket. I've sampled all these items before, and they all taste good, but most of it isn't very filling. The falafel is the exception, which made it a problem that they were out of it the last time I visited. We didn't find out until well after we'd ordered. Four of us at a table of six had ordered items with falafel, so we had to scramble for replacements. It seems unusual for a Middle Eastern restaurant to run out of falafel. The pita bread is a real letdown. It comes from a commercial bakery, and it's so soft that it doesn't have the firmness to scoop up hummus or baba. It also just doesn't taste very good. A restaurant like this should really be baking its own. I ordered a bowl of chili along with my combo plate. The chili arrived a few minutes after the combo (I was hoping it would come out first), and it was disappointing. It was very liquidy without many kidney beans, the portion was small for a bowl, and the flavor was mediocre at best. Our server was friendly and attentive, though he didn't know whether the tahini sauce was vegan. It turned out not to matter, since the tahini was meant to accompany the falafel we never got. I left somewhat disappointed and still hungry.
