Visited for lunch on a Saturday and we were greeted instantly. We were able to pick our table in the dining room. The dining room is on the smaller side and has a combination of booth/table seating. Our server was very helpful and happy to answer our questions on menu items. We all ordered wraps for lunch and were very happy with our selections. I ordered the shish kabob pita. The grilled beef was tender and juicy and paired well with the garlic sauce. The wrap did not come with a side but we added rice for an additional 6 dollars. The rice portion was large and able to be split among two people. We learned Dalia's is a family owned restaurant and were given insight on the work that goes into the selection. The special desert item of the day was a home made Dubai chocolate bar. Our server told us about the process of perfecting the bar and how the family worked for a few months to get create the perfect recipe. The chocolate bar was $15 dollars and was large enough to be split among the 3 of us. We were very happy with our visit and would love to return. The food was authentic and delicious. read more

Came in and was sat right away, not too busy after work (they were very busy with to-go orders however) I got the Dolma Pita and it was EXCELLENT! The pita was crispy and toasted to perfection. My dad and I ordered food to go and ended up sitting down really quick to eat our food. The service was great, the kid who let us sit down with our to go order was really nice and kept asking us if we needed anything even though we had ordered to go so that was really nice. My chicken Shawarma pita tasted really good, but I was shocked at how small it is. There was barely any pickle in it, pretty much just chicken. My dad had a much larger meal, but he said the taste of the chicken just wasn't his favorite. It's not a very cozy place to sit down so I would suggest getting food to go. read more

We were there for lunch and had a falafel pita pocket which was delicious. The pita pocket was fresh made to order and was outstanding. The pita was full of ingredients and the falafel was delicious and generous. I appreciate the owner/manager going the extra step to ask us at the end of our meal if there was anything they could do to improve their food. Frankly, it was as close to perfect as it could be. What a disappointment! Been going here since they opened, and once, pre-Covid, it was terrific. Great food, Great service. While the service is still excellent, the food has gone downhill. Stale, thin, cold pita in a Mediterraean restaurant? Horror of horrors! The baba ganoush was not fresh. It had clearly been refrigerated. The hummus was spicy, as advertised, but also not fresh, which, when combined with cardboard pita was not appetizing. The cauliflower and the falafel were also unexceptional. The place was empty, except for us, the entire time we were there, although they did a good volume of take-way. We'll give it another chance, because of our affection for what it used to be. But with competition now from places like Babylon and Cedar, it will be a while. read more

I was a bit confused when I walked into this place. I had intended to dine-in but was unsure if they even had an area to sit down. The entrance is the pickup and order station, no one greeted me, and I couldn't find a menu for a minute. The waiting area is very small and there was a disabled man moving carpets around which made me very uncomfortable. I'm unsure if it was the carpets being thrown around, but it smells a bit weird inside. I ordered a Chicken Pita $6.25 and the Baba Ghanouj $6.25 - it was ready in about 3 minutes and I took it to go. I was excited to try this place because the prices are great. The chicken pita is ok - the chickens a bit chewy, could be fresher and have more flavor. I could taste the grilled char though. I'm disappointed with the Baba - the consistency is very thin, obviously made with much more tahini than eggplant and leaves a tingy aftertaste in my mouth. Also, I wasn't given nearly enough pita's to finish it. I'd rather pay an extra couple dollars for these items elsewhere and don't intend on visiting read more

Dalia's was a pleasant surprise for me. I visited for lunch on a Sunday and I was happy to find a restaurant that was not a chain. I ordered the Gyro Plate with Salad and it was a humongous plate of deliciousness. The greens were fresh and crispy. The combination of lean lamb and beef meat was succulent and moist. I loved the addition of sautéed mushrooms and feta cheese, which really tied all the components together to become a hearty meal. The service was friendly and prompt. The food also came out quickly. The portion to price ratio was very high. I don't think a "lunch portion" exists here, so most people will have leftovers (not a bad thing). Overall, I think Dalia serves up quality Mediterranean that's on par (if not better) than the Aladdin's and Sinbad's in Rochester. I'll be back for sure! read more

Their chicken salad is well charred and delectable with sauté mushrooms!!! Taste is comparable to the ones at sinbad's. I am so glad that they cater for New Year's Eve. A wonderful family-owned restaurant that focuses on freshly made offerings. This time, I had the lamb chops over a Greek salad and it was to die for! The Greek dressing was homemade with many spices and so savory over the salad and meat. Here are some of the items: Spicy hummus - A slight spice from the red peppers. Falafel - Crispy and light. The tahini yogurt dressing complimented it but they were flavorful all on their own. Shrimp Appetizer - The shrimp were tender and cooked just right. The pita bread included can also be used to soak up the seasoned oil once the shrimp are gone. Shawarma Chicken - The chicken was moist and seasoned well. Baklava - The filo dough was light. Though sweet, it was not overly sweet; which is ideal in my opinion. We were the only ones here so I was a little nervous. We were told to seat ourselves, our sever was on the phone taking an order for takeout. She promptly greeted us when she was done and apologized, saying take out was busy tonight & brought us waters to start. She took our drinks order and then greeted someone else who came in. She returned quickly with our drinks and asked if we were ready or had any questions. We ordered the spicy hummus to start and it was amazing. It wasn't overwhelming spicy but it was so flavorful and there was plenty there. Our food came out just about as we finished the hummus. I had the fortina pizza with mozzarella instead of feta. My husband had the gyro plate with no olives or mushrooms. My pizza was delicious. It was fresh and the garlic sauce was incredible. My husbands gyro meat was so good, it melted in your mouth. He loved the tzakiki and salad dressing (I personally thought it was too minty but he said it's the best he's had) I think this place is an absolute hidden gem. Don't be fooled by the exterior. I was in the Fairport area for a hair appointment and stopped here after for a quick bite. It's in an unassuming plaza tucked in the corner. I'm a total Mediterranean food fan so I had to try it given the excellent reviews on Yelp. It is a small little place with takeout available and a small dining room with about 12 or so tables. The waitress was very sweet and took care of all the tables herself. The menu has a lot on it so I had a difficult time deciding on what to get. All of the items sounded delicious! I decided on a chicken pita. Wow! So much flavor tucked into a perfectly toasted pita. I am craving the flavors as I write this. I will absolutely be back to try more if the menu. The dolma tasted fresh, like it was just made, and was served warm which I liked for a change! Dalia's is my new favorite for a vegetarian combo platter! The falafel was crispy and perfectly seasoned, everything was so flavorful. For dessert I had the pistachio baklava and an espresso. The baklava was some of the best I've ever had. Wifey ordered the Spanakopita, and I ordered the Shish Pita (includes a side- fries for me, of course, and a fountain drink- good ole coffee for me). Needless to say, Momma fed us well.
