Side salad mixed greens.

Met a friend for lunch today, place is kind of easy to find in Pittsford, parking is a little tight and finding the front entrance tricky. Hostess was great, kind, seated right away, waitress was also spot on with recommendations. Food was quick, fresh, and hot, we both had lunches and hot tea, price was $47.00 so fair. Definitely will be back if in the mood for Greek food, thanks for good meal.

Mousaka with Greek Salad

The food here was so fresh. I had the Mousaka with Greek Salad. We also ordered the Dolmades. My mother hade the Limone Pasta (with the basil pasta) ... DELISH! It was loaded with artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes. I hadn't been to Aladdin's since I left Rochester 30 years ago ... back then it was Monroe Ave (no longer there) and Schoen Place (this same location). Wow has this place expanded My only nit was the lack of dessert options. Large pastry case with a carrot cake, an oreo cake .. and one other. We took a pass on dessert

The place was so nice on the water! The service was fantastic and the food was served very quickly. The place is close quarters for sitting but definitely a nice place for lunch.

The biggest perk of this restaurant is the patio overlooking the canal. The food is decent, but by far not the best Mediterranean I've had. This is for when you want to take someone from out of town to a decent place in a great location with a great view. Service has been just ok as well. They haven't been the most friendly, and they also forgot about one of my sensitivities (thankfully not an allergy) even though I'd mentioned it a couple of times. However, again, the service wasn't bad. It was decent.

There is parking in the lot across the street. The restaurant has outdoor seating with nice views of the canal. The service was good and our server did a good job despite issues from the kitchen relating to beverages. The chicklaki plate had a generous amount of mixed greens and was very fresh. The tahini dressing complements this dish very well. I would try a gryo pita roll next.

While we were Rochester playing golf, a local who played with us recommended us here for a great value meal. He said to go to this location over the other to enjoy the views. It doesn't hurt that Trader Joe's is nearby (for all the Canadian tourists). When we arrived we were surprised to see a bit of wait to get in. Rochester isn't a busy, so this is definitely one of the few poppin' spots around this area. When we requested to sit at the rooftop (recommended to us from a local) and said we can wait. One of the servers seemed very short with us and gave us ambiguity that it could be an undetermined wait time but the other was nice and noted the wait shouldn't be too long and she was right it was just 10-15mins. View is decent and the covered patio is a great to cover from potential flies or elements. We also enjoyed some live music from a band playing across the canal. As for food, we ordered the mix grill (main) and the vegetarian combo under the appetizer section (more like a main). The portions were massive! Definitely right about the value. I don't think I can get used to these American portion sizes at all... Could feed 3-4 people. We were not a fan of the mixed grill because the meat was all dry. However there is plenty of meat! It feeds two alone. The vegetarian combo was an easy winner for us. We chose the tourlou, Spanakopita and falafel for our options and enjoyed it the most. Can confirm from the other reviewer that it's our first time having our cucumbers chopped so thick in our dish like 1cm. It didn't bother us too much though. Great spot for vegetarians for sure!

Falafel Pita Roll; Blakava & Hot Green Tea

I was cold and wanted a Hot tea and a Dessert. What better sweet than Baklava in a Greek restaurant. As I sat sipping tea and eating the sweets, I decided to order a Falafel Pita Roll. The roll was warm, the Falafel was cold, as was the rest of the green leafy stuffing. The Falafel was not fried to order. I have eaten better ones. The Baklava came in 4 mini pieces which is plenty for such a rich sweet pastry chuck full of nuts. At least, I was warm and cozy. Service was friendly and prompt.

I only started eating at Aladdin about three weeks ago and the first time I was there I got the pasta, specifically the ravioli with marinara sauce and the chicken pita burrito. They were both great items however, I did end up liking the pasta more. After that, I proceeded to go at least once a week, sometimes twice. Everything has always been delicious and the consistency has been perfect. Except today, which is also why I am writing this review... my marinara sauce was kind of soupy, and I will give credit to me as well because I did show up at least an hour before closing, but the marinara fell right off the ravioli which left the it dry. I brought this up to the waiter and proceeded to ask for just a cup of marinara sauce, he told me that the kitchen had already closed, which is completely understandable. However, 15 minutes later, he came out with a brand new plate of pasta, and they even comped it from my check , I feel like this is the type of service that makes a good place! I thought they were just gonna strike it from my check. I did not know that they were going to come out with a full plate of pasta on top of it. They have a modest collection of drinks, including wine, my favorite being a Muscato, I like something that's a little more sweet ;) As for the atmosphere I haven't been here during the winter time but in the summertime it's absolutely lovely! Its so nice! On some days after 5pm you can hear Pete play his guitar down below on the canal with his dog Francis. The view of the canal is absolutely stunning especially when the boats are floating by, and it is quite literally a breath of fresh air. I plan to continue coming back :) (PS I forgot to post it, so it has been sitting in my drafts this happened about a week ago)

The scattered service pulled it through this time for a 3 rating. The table we were seated at was covered in crumbs and the floors very dirty. The entryway before and after the door was not clean nor in the best repair. When we visit Pittsford we typically expect the higher end of things. This was not it.

!!!!CASH OR CHECK ONLY (no joke and they have an ATM inside)!!…read more So we finally got to check this spot out in Pittsford on Schoen Place. I'll be honest, we completely missed it at first (our fault!), but it's actually across from Label 7 or Level 7 or whatever it's called. The restaurant offers both indoor seating and snd area for outdoor dining during warmer weather. It's a smaller space but has a nice, casual feel, with Greek-inspired photos and decor on the walls. They seem to do a steady mix of dine in and takeout. We arrived around 5:15 PM on a Saturday, and it quickly filled up. Service was good, though it appeared to be just the owner and one other person running tue front of house they were definitely hustling. The menu is fairly extensive, though I'm not sure how many vegetarian options are available. We started with the fried calamari, which came with lemon and a dipping sauce (possibly garlic). It was good, though not standout. For my entrée, I ordered a platter with gyro meat and chicken, served with rice, tzatziki, and salad. The flavors were solid, but the rice was unfortunately lukewarm. I asked for extra tzatziki, which came in handy because my husband's gyro sandwich didn't include any, something that surprised us. Thankfully, I had enough to share. He did enjoy his meal overall and said the fries (ordered on the side) were tasty, though $6 for a side of fries felt a bit steep. Whatever I also had a glass of Greek white wine, which I enjoyed. Their wine and beer selection is small but decent. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere welcoming. Just a heads-up: it's cash only, and because of the limited space, it's probably a good idea to call ahead if you're going with a group. Parking is shared in the area. I'd come back.

Generally I would not eat at the Food Court but when I saw Pita Chik and their menu, I knew I had to try it. I was extremely thrilled that I did place my order and pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty my meal was. I order the California Salad with Falafal. and pita on the side. The lettuce was crisp and the ingredients all fresh and delicious...and plentiful! The falafal was as I remembered when I was in the Middle East many years ago and my years of ordering it in NYC where I worked. My friend ordered the Greek Gyro and it was packed fully with meat, tomatoes and onions. She left nothing on her plate. BTW, neither did I...my plate was totally cleaned of any salad, falafal and pita. The size was surprisingly large for the price. If you are at Eastview Mall and need some extra strength to continue shopping, you definetly need to stop by Pita Chik for a healthy, energy boosting meal. If you don't want to eat at the Mall, you can order takeout and bring it home. I am so happy that I decided to step up to the Pita Chik counter and happy to see a vegetarian menu for me and a menu that would accommodate my friend as well that likes meat. You won't be disappointed by the meal choices which are plentiful and the pricing surprisingly reasonable. Oh, one more thing, the gentleman that took our order was very sweet and patient with us since we were taking our time in figuring out what to order. One last thing, please leave a tip in the tip jar...all tips are donated. I will most definetly be returning! Just the thought of it is making my mouth water. Bon Appetit to all!

The dining room is on the smaller side and has a combination of booth/table seating. Our server was very helpful and happy to answer our questions on menu items. We all ordered wraps for lunch and were very happy with our selections. I ordered the shish kabob pita. The grilled beef was tender and juicy and paired well with the garlic sauce. The wrap did not come with a side but we added rice for an additional 6 dollars. The rice portion was large and able to be split among two people. We learned Dalia's is a family owned restaurant and were given insight on the work that goes into the selection. The special desert item of the day was a home made Dubai chocolate bar. Our server told us about the process of perfecting the bar and how the family worked for a few months to get create the perfect recipe. The chocolate bar was $15 dollars and was large enough to be split among the 3 of us. We were very happy with our visit and would love to return. The food was authentic and delicious.
