    Chicken Tenders
    Peter D.

Generally speaking, I don't expect a lot out of mall food courts. Most times, I'm content with some Auntie Anne's pretzels, or some mall Chinese food (its own category) that I know I'll regret later. However, we needed a real meal, and we chose Pita Chik over the cheesesteak joint next to it. A tough decision, considering it's the #1 Cheesesteak in the WORLD. But I'm happy because: The chicken fingers were legitimately great. Not the same frozen commodity fingers you get everywhere, but hand-breaded big pieces of real chicken, fried well. We also rolled with a Greek salad with chicken added, and it was an enormous portion, and everything was honestly delicious. The Greek dressing was disappointingly just Ken's, but overall, outstanding. Also, the nice folks behind the counter gave us free carousel ride coupons, and crayons and coloring mats for my kids. How can you be mad about that?

    GREEK FRIES
    Marissa M.

Okay the Greek fries are 5 STAR. But the chicken pita was disappointing. I expected the chicken to be a lot more flavorful. Especially for the price, it's pretty expensive for a lunch in the mall. I wish the chicken was a little tastier. But I would come back for those Greek fries!!! Service was great. They were super nice. It's located in the food court of the East View mall so ambiance is just that hahaha, I sat with my fellow procrastination shoppers on the weekend before Christmas.

Pleasantly surprised with this place, especially since it is in a food court! I got a falafel pita and the falafel was actually really good! The person who took my order was really nice and even pointed out the combo option would save me money. This will be my go-to in the Eastview food court from now on!

I was very excited to try Pita Chik while working a shift at the mall. I was able to call ahead and place a pickup order, which was a big help. The person taking my call was so helpful and kind. They were happy to answers any questions I had about the menu. I was also given a mall employee discount which is greatly appreciated I ordered a chicken shawarma with fries combo. I was amazed by the portion size of my order. The pita was filled with meat, overflowing and falling out. The fries portion was generous as well. My food was delicious! Flavorful and fresh. I loved the food. Overall, a wonderful experience! I look forward to supporting this business again and trying additional menu items.

First Visit: Tried the Gyro Platter. Friendly and welcoming service. Food was hot and delicious ! Fresh and Tasty. Great Menu options. Special thanks to the owners, Ari & Nick. I will be back. I love the ambiance of the Eastview Mall food court. You can people watch when you eat.

We got the seasoned Greek fries which were good and fresh. But I had a hard time eating the pita. Or well the inside of the pita. There was so much salt that you could feel the coarseness of it while eating the pita. It's sad because the pita bread itself was really good. If they cut down on the salt content I would go back. But for now, I think I'm going to pass and go somewhere else while in the food court.

I didn't realize how much food you get! It was absolutely amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The worker who took our order was kind and sweet. He came to our table to check to see how the food was. We will definitely be coming back.

Pita Chik's buffalo chicken gyro (I took off the blue cheese crumbles) with a side of rice
    Kacey D.

Me and my friends planned a shopping day at the mall and decided to head to the food court for lunch. Though it was very busy and the wait was a little longer than some other restaurants, I wanted to try out one of Pita Chik's gyro options and went with their buffalo chicken gyro. I'm not a fan of blue cheese and they were happy to cater to my preference and exclude it from my order. The gyro was very delicious and fresh and their rice paired very well with the meal! Overall, I recommend you give this place a try during your next visit!

Moussaka was nasty. The lettuce was old and wilty. While the rice was ok and edible I would not come back or chose to eat here again.

!!!!CASH OR CHECK ONLY (no joke and they have an ATM inside)!!…read more So we finally got to check this spot out in Pittsford on Schoen Place. I'll be honest, we completely missed it at first (our fault!), but it's actually across from Label 7 or Level 7 or whatever it's called. The restaurant offers both indoor seating and snd area for outdoor dining during warmer weather. It's a smaller space but has a nice, casual feel, with Greek-inspired photos and decor on the walls. They seem to do a steady mix of dine in and takeout. We arrived around 5:15 PM on a Saturday, and it quickly filled up. Service was good, though it appeared to be just the owner and one other person running tue front of house they were definitely hustling. The menu is fairly extensive, though I'm not sure how many vegetarian options are available. We started with the fried calamari, which came with lemon and a dipping sauce (possibly garlic). It was good, though not standout. For my entrée, I ordered a platter with gyro meat and chicken, served with rice, tzatziki, and salad. The flavors were solid, but the rice was unfortunately lukewarm. I asked for extra tzatziki, which came in handy because my husband's gyro sandwich didn't include any, something that surprised us. Thankfully, I had enough to share. He did enjoy his meal overall and said the fries (ordered on the side) were tasty, though $6 for a side of fries felt a bit steep. Whatever I also had a glass of Greek white wine, which I enjoyed. Their wine and beer selection is small but decent. Overall, the food was good and the atmosphere welcoming. Just a heads-up: it's cash only, and because of the limited space, it's probably a good idea to call ahead if you're going with a group. Parking is shared in the area. I'd come back.

Pretty good food service was slow it also felt really empty. Otherwise, the spaghetti was good.read more

The dining room is on the smaller side and has a combination of booth/table seating. Our server was very helpful and happy to answer our questions on menu items. We all ordered wraps for lunch and were very happy with our selections. I ordered the shish kabob pita. The grilled beef was tender and juicy and paired well with the garlic sauce. The wrap did not come with a side but we added rice for an additional 6 dollars. The rice portion was large and able to be split among two people. We learned Dalia's is a family owned restaurant and were given insight on the work that goes into the selection. The special desert item of the day was a home made Dubai chocolate bar. Our server told us about the process of perfecting the bar and how the family worked for a few months to get create the perfect recipe. The chocolate bar was $15 dollars and was large enough to be split among the 3 of us. We were very happy with our visit and would love to return. The food was authentic and delicious.

I have mixed feelings about Aladdin's Natural Eatery in Schoen Place (Pittsford)…read more Pros: Vegan options exist. Outside seating by the canal is nice when the weather cooperates. Our server was reasonably friendly and efficient. Cons: They make it difficult to wait for a table. Pita bread is low quality. Chili was disappointing. They were out of falafel when we last visited. The setting is the best thing going for this place. Our table was outside near the canal, the weather was warm, and sitting by the water was quite pleasant. The problem is that the restaurant doesn't make it easy to wait for a table. They won't serve you a drink while you wait, and they won't call or text you when your table opens up, so you can't slip next door to the bar for a drink without risking your spot. The vegan options are limited but real. The veggie combo plate lets you pick either three or four items from falafel, hummus, baba ganoush, tourlu, sautéed spinach, and tabulee, and there's also a falafel pita pocket. I've sampled all these items before, and they all taste good, but most of it isn't very filling. The falafel is the exception, which made it a problem that they were out of it the last time I visited. We didn't find out until well after we'd ordered. Four of us at a table of six had ordered items with falafel, so we had to scramble for replacements. It seems unusual for a Middle Eastern restaurant to run out of falafel. The pita bread is a real letdown. It comes from a commercial bakery, and it's so soft that it doesn't have the firmness to scoop up hummus or baba. It also just doesn't taste very good. A restaurant like this should really be baking its own. I ordered a bowl of chili along with my combo plate. The chili arrived a few minutes after the combo (I was hoping it would come out first), and it was disappointing. It was very liquidy without many kidney beans, the portion was small for a bowl, and the flavor was mediocre at best. Our server was friendly and attentive, though he didn't know whether the tahini sauce was vegan. It turned out not to matter, since the tahini was meant to accompany the falafel we never got. I left somewhat disappointed and still hungry.

On the reservation form (online) it doesn't mention needing to place a comment in the notes for special occasions that you'd like a booth- so unfortunately, even though the place was pretty empty upon arrival we were unable to have a booth - the hostess said "had I known by you placing that request in the comments section online I might have been able to secure you a booth- but it's not guaranteed." - wait, what?? Not sure why they take online reservations then. Started dinner with a salad which was delicious and bread that was pretty basic and unfortunately the oil that they served with it was a simple and nothing special. For our entrees, my partner had the dual filets, which I'm sorry to report were seasoned with so much pepper that it took away from the steaks themselves. I had the salmon wrapped in bacon- which was superb. My partner had wished he had gotten it after trying one compared to his and after tasting his steak I'd have to agree it would have been a better choice. Hoping if we try this again it will be a better experience. Staff were nice, but not very welcoming. Decor could use some upgrades. Not sure if I would recommend.
