I love these little hole in the walls where one person is the chef, manager, and cashier. Plus the chef cooked authentic Halal. My colleague recommended it and the dishes, two different Manakeesh plates and kofta Pita. All were so tasty and filling and great price. New fav place for lunch when in Rochester. read more

Great food. They bake their own bread the owner is very friendly in personable. You can tell that they take pride in what they serve.

This is a simple little restaurant set within a plaza. There is seating available for about 20 guests. The service was friendly and food was served piping hot. We enjoyed lentil soup (which came with warm pita), the falafel appetizer and traditional gyro. It seemed to be quite popular for to-go meals and appears to be family run business. If you're looking for solid Mediterranean food, check out this spot! read more

Friendly people.. great selection of freshly prepared foods. Shawarma plate is enough for 2 people. Oddly their French fries are really good too. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. read more

I ordered from here for the first time. The staff was friendly and helpful with my questions since I'm vegan. I ordered the falafel pita and the baba ganoush with pita. My meal was excellent. I'll definitely be ordering from here again! read more

We "ate in" at this small but bustling restaurant. it appears that many of the orders were to-go. The food was freshly prepared and quickly delivered To our table, the three men behind the counter were extremely busy, preparing food and taking orders. My husband had the vegetarian platter and I had the dolma platter both served with huge fluffy pita bread. The pita bread is one of the best I've had. my Dolma platter, came with a small Greek salad, and a little scoop of hummus. The dolma were very good as they were spiced. There was a drink case, but not much of a variety of drinks. However, they did have some exotic ones. There was also baklava and takeout containers. I think they should use reusable tableware when you're dining in instead of a packet of small plastic utensils, so I think they are really a to go operation. The food was served on dinner plates so they must have a way of washing things. This is a good stop for a quick meal or a takeout. read more

One of my favorite middle eastern restaurants ever! Food is always fresh and never disappoints. So glad to have this gem in Greece. Recommendations: Falafel; Chicken Kebab Plate; Mashawi Plate; Spinash & Cheese Lamahjeen :) read more

I ordered from GruhHub and had delivered to my Airbnb. Food was made and delivered within 30-40 minutes. Food was really good. Falafel was moist. Babaganoush and hummus were very tasty. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because the pita bread was thrown into the to-go bag, not wrapped in tin foil or any kind of wrapping. Doesn't feel sanitary that it's just sitting on top of the food container, loose in the bag. read more

My family really love this restaurant, it is like having a home cooked meal. We have never been disappointed with the food and appreciate the kindness of the owners/staff. Also, I like that it is kept extremely clean, tastefully decorated, thriving healthy plants, all together creating a fresh atmosphere. read more

The food at this place is absolutely outstanding. Yes, they put the pita loose in the bag. But it's warm and soft when you get it. Hummus, babaganoush and sauces are very flavorful as are all the meats. And their salad dressing is next level. I've ordered here a few times and it is consistently good! read more

Food- falafel, baba ganoush and hummus were very good! Also tried a dessert called honey cake- very yummy *Wish they had a bigger menu, because we would come more often since they are up the street. We often go to Aladdins for Mediterranean food but it's 25 minutes away from us.. read more

A small restaurant in a strip mall, you would never expect amazing food! Stopped in for lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! The food is delicious, portions generous, and the customer service is friendly! I ordered the chicken shawarma pita, falafel pita, and tabouli. Everything was fresh, and the seasonings were so good! The prices were very reasonable. I am glad to see Greece have more dining options than another pizza or burger joint. Stop in and give them a try! read more

I live close by this place and have been waiting to try it. It was really good. Omg.. The homemade pita bread was amazing. They should package it and sell it. I would definitely buy it. It is so soft. The place was very clean, it's small but they have tables so you have the choice to dine in or take out. We chose to dine in. We started with the Chicken Alfredo Manakeesh and Lahmajeen Manakeesh. The chicken Alfredo one was good but I didn't like the Lahmajeen Manakeesh. It seemed like it was just a sofrito ( red and green bell peppers with garlic and onion) mixture and no meat which it was suppose to have and there was no seasoning on it. We also got grilled chicken plate, which came with a Greek salad and hummus. My daughter doesn't like hummus so they were very accommodating and let her substitute it for rice. This was good, the chicken was delicious, it was seasoned so well. The tahini sauce was very flavorful. It was a large portion size. My daughter couldn't finish it. I got the chicken pita and this was sooooooo good. It has very well seasoned chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and garlic sauce. Their garlic sauce was so delicious and with the homemade pita bread. Yummy They gave us a basket of the pita bread and we were dipping it in the garlic sauce. Really good.. If you haven't tried this place yet you have to check them out. You may have to wait because they make everything fresh but it is so worth it. read more

I stopped into Shawarma Restaurant one day on my way to my friend's house from work because it was on the way. I loved the food so much, as did my friend! They have some really nice staff and excellent prices! I tried the Chicken Shawarma Pita and it was lovely and flavorful. I look forward to trying more of their options! read more

I am giving one star due to not being able to leave zero stars. I waited about 20 mins I was the only person there. when giving my change I gave him $70 then tried to give me only $8 when it came to $52, it could have been an honest mistake but come on simple addition. I was excited to try the food because of the high ratings but I think they bought the ratings. The rice was under seasoned, the chicken had no flavor. The chicken and lamb shawarma was so tough that I couldn't chew them. The hummus was runny. The only good thing was the pita. Would not recommend. read more

We were having a work lunch and our go to restaurant was closed. On short notice, I found this place and it was excellent. Service was great and food was even better. We did take away, can't wait to try there. I'm now t a big eater, but I finished everything in one sitting. read more

Came here for the the first time. Good was excellent. We got the Chicken Shawarma Pita, Chicken Manakeesh, Cheese Manakeesh, and Chicken Kabob Plate. Everything was delicious hot and fresh! The service is top notch, and they did a great job with preparing and getting it ready. In interior of the restaurant is nice you can eat inside which is pretty nice. They have drinks available and you can watch them cook and prepare food. I highly recommend coming here! read more

First time visiting. Food was good and fresh tasting. Place was clean and vibrant. Definitely will be visiting again.

Tried this for the first time today. We got a chicken shawarma and a kofta. Both were more than enough for two people to share and both delicious. The service was friendly and quick. I'd definitely go back. read more

This place has amazing food! It doesn't look like much when you first walk in, But boy is it worth it! The staff were so friendly and even had some free samples of the grape leaves made up so we could try them. The rice of course is the best! Love this place!!! read more

The "PLATES" have 35% LESS food They use these plastic containers that separate the foods Nothing like a load of good food heaping Rather you get a $17.00 plate worth only $10.00 Pretty sneaky tactic The honest approach is a full container Not 35% of plastic pocket filler container I was actually hungry after eating this thing called a "Plate" Better to call it a snowflake or a gimmick or even call you a JOKE Very disappointing that they already make a killing and pull this NONSENE Oh they aren't "dumb" They know what they are doing Let's see them do the right thing going forward Much MUCH cheaper buying 2 $8.00 plates It's one complete OPEN container No BS read more

Great fresh pita bread. Ours was served warm and crispy-soft. The hummus appetizer with the fresh pita bread was worth the trip across town. The chicken shawarma was a generous portion and had great flavor, though the chicken was just a tad dry. The restaurant has take-out ambiance with a few tables for eat-in. The service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back for my next Mediterranean quick fix! read more

Friendly staff that nicely greeted me when entering their restaurant. I ordered a Gyros Pita. The food came out quickly. It was the best pita I've ever eaten . Absolutely delicious! Super fresh ingredient!! Generous size to the Pita, as well, that filled up the container they put it in, as I requested takeout. The pita stayed together to the last bite! Real reasonable pricing as well. This restaurant will be definitely added into the rotation. I'm looking forward to trying the other menu items as well. Thank you and props to the chef! read more

Checked this place out last week for lunch. The prices are fair and reasonable. However, I wasn't too impressed with the food. I ordered a chicken shawarma pita pocket and baklava for a sweet treat. The flavor of the chicken shawarma was decent, but the meat was greasy, but dry. Greasy to the point my pita pocket was dripping and messy to eat. I prefer Cedar restaurant in the city over this one. However, I recommend you try Shawarma Restaurant for yourself. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan. read more
