This place is very beautiful, the food is good, might be overpriced. Even not worth it for the experience because the atmosphere is cluttered with the mostly rude staff. My waitress was great but most of the staff gave the dirtiest looks, me and my boyfriend felt like we were out of place, very stuck up. But free cotton candy at the end! First off, this atmosphere is absolutely marvelous. The aesthetic encapsulates an Arizona sunset and feels very cozy and laid back while offering high end cocktails and dining. Our server, Kiana , was so kind and attentive. She's recognized our needs and made suggestions like she had known me my whole life! We were debating what to get and all her recommendations were phenomenal (short rib tacos on happy hour!!) We were curious about a specific ingredient that came with a dish and she brought us a side of it solely to try (incredible). She leaned forward on to the bar to say hello which was a clear indicator of her desire to provide personal one on one service to each guest. i had been several times before and ordered my favorite - the shrimp tacos - and what is now my favorite chips, salsa and guacamole trio, but she was ready to answer any questions I had and offer new menu items to try as well. We ordered the Baja shrimp ceviche and prickly pear ribs for an appetizer. They were both good, the ceviche had a little too much lime. The restaurant manager is rude, and dismissive. I ordered the rib eye steak, but I was served a NY Strip steak. I know the difference. I asked the server to speak to the manager, and he was immediately dismissive even after showing him a photo of a rib eye steak. His reply: "not all rib eye steaks look like that; THIS IS A RIB EYE STEAK,: He then dismissively said, "Thank you" and turned around. He had the chef, John, come to speak to me. John was not rude and dismissive like the manager. I made my case, and John came back with what he represented was the label of the box of steaks, which said "Rib Eye Steak." I showed John the photos, and he explained that this is a "center cut" rib eye steak. My final statement to John: "you were not sold rib eye steaks." On the way out I went to see the manager to tell him he had been rude and dismissive to me... and he became aggressive and more rude! Not a good way to end the day. read more

Terrible service with decent food. Kiara B. was our server that needs retraining or she should find another line of work. She rarely interacted, appeared unhappy, took too long on requests for utensils, drinks, receiving the check, etc. Did not follow up with any refills or additional food items. Maybe the experience would've been better if we didn't sit at a table serviced by Kiara B., but we won't be back to find out. Visited twice this week as I was in town for a conference. Great outdoor covered seating and reasonable temps for a 100 degree day. Drinks are reasonably priced with many options. Service was great, although food was extremely overpriced and poor quality. Ordered ceviche and was served as a soup with stale tortilla chips. Ordered a salad which was poor quality as well. The over all ambiance was nice and I loved the decor of the resturant. The only thing that annoyed me was that we had booked a reservation for 3. The two girls that are the hostesses seemed confused about the reservation and gave each of us trouble as we each arrived. I live downtown and was very excited to eat at this beautiful restaurant! Got dressed up and went last night (5/14) with a close friend to experience what looked to be an amazing restaurant. When we walked in the door the two hostesses all but leaned on the wall with their arms crossed as we walked in. They made eye contact with us and didn't say one word. We got to the hostess stand and they still continued their conversation as if we weren't standing there. I was taken aback by this level of disrespect and lack of concern by the hostess whose job is to greet customers and are the face of the restaurant. When they finished their conversation one girl stepped up to welcome us the other kept her back turned as she "organized" menus. They said it was a 30-40 min wait although the restaurant was quite empty. We asked about open seating and went to the bar. When we got to the bar the area was not cleaned from the previous guests which was fine because we were just walking up. The issue was waiting 5 mins before the waiter asked us for our orders and still hadn't removed any of the old cups or cleaned the area. He finally came to take our orders. We asked for the area to be cleaned... he moved cups but never wiped down the area which was visibly dirty from avocados, quinoa and some other substance. We received our drinks he took our orders and still didn't clean the counter. We eventually asked one of the other bartenders or bar backs to clean the counter and he did so immediately. The food was decent and the restaurant is beautiful. I live 2 blocks away and have many many options for food and amazing service. As beautiful as the restaurant is I will not return due to such poor service and incredibly rude hostesses. read more

I stopped by here with my family before seeing a show in downtown Phoenix. The manager, Arthur, was very accommodating even though the restaurant was mostly full from reservations. The wine selection is great, and there is an impressive cocktail menu. It has great lighting, comfortable seating, and a great playlist creating a fun overall vibe. Worst experience of my dining life! Not only did my party, and I wait for over one hour for our server to check on us, when he did check on us, he had no update as to the status of our order. During this one hour lapse in his attentiveness - never did he bring us our drinks that were ordered, nor did he come to refill our waters. When we advised him that we were going to leave because of the extended delay, he said, OK, I'll bring the check? When I asked what the check was for he suggested it was for the food that we have ordered. I promptly reminded him that in a 60 minute period He never once checked on us nor did he bring us our drinks nor did he refill our waters - therefore, there is no check!
