The space is huge with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I loved the relaxed morning atmosphere with the smell of fresh coffee and people chatting without it feeling too loud or crowded. We both ordered matcha lattes, and the matcha was really good quality. Service was quick, and it was the perfect little start to our day. I'd definitely come back to try more from their menu!

I wish we would have gotten the barista's name who rang us up- but he was just spectacular. My mom has an autoimmune disease and some days are just harder than others in terms of us getting out of the house and enjoying some mother-daughter time. He really seemed genuine in his interaction, particularly with my mom, and it made her morning. Thank you kind sir for your heart and kindness- I want you to know that you made an impact!

She has that rare kind of warmth that makes you feel welcome the second you walk in, and you can tell there's real care behind what they're doing here. I ordered the honey lavender latte and it was beautiful. The lavender was subtle, the honey added just enough sweetness, and most importantly, you could still taste the coffee. My friend ordered an Americano and I stole a sip of that too. To me, black coffee is the real test. There's nowhere for mediocre beans or a bad roast to hide, and this Americano was smooth, rich and genuinely delicious. Then there was the donut. I don't even like donuts, which makes what I'm about to say slightly ridiculous, but it was honestly one of the best things I've ever tasted. I would come back for that alone. There are plenty of places that can make a pretty latte. The Goods has something more. Really good coffee, ridiculously good donuts and people who make you want to come back. If you appreciate finding special local coffee shops when you travel, put this one on your list. The Goods is an absolute must try in Carlsbad.

I don't know why I was so hesitant to try this place but after 15 minutes of hunting on Yelp I decided to just try it. I'm so glad I did! The vibes of this little place are so great all around. Jen was so nice from the start, I told her it was my first time there & she let me know I can ask any questions. You can tell she really cares about her customers because she was making genuine conversation and being really nice! I've only had one drink here but so far it's bombbbb.com. Dirty chai latte is so good!! Definitely coming again, can't wait to show my gf our new coffee spot;D read more

My total cost was $12.00. This Gold Coast Coffee Shop Is located inside the Westfield Shopping Center Mall in the corner on the second floor across from the J. C. Penny's Department Store. When I was walking towards the front entrance to the Gold Coast Coffee Shop last night , I could smell the aroma of a flavored Iced Frappuccino being made in a blender and being served for one of their customers. I received helpful advice on the different kinds of flavored Coffee Drinks, Chai Teas, Coffee Lattes, and different varieties on the Flavored Cold Frappuccinos that were on their menu board last night. The Gold Coast Coffee Shop also serves really delicious pastries I was staring at these pastries in their clear display case last night. I noticed their breakfast pastries were Strawberry Cream Cheese, Blueberry Cream Cheese, Chocolate, Cinnamon with a white cream cheese icing that was drizzled on top on every one if these yummy looking desserts. The younger woman employee told me she has been working for this Gold Coast Coffee Shop for one year now and she does enjoy working for her manager because she is very respectful and will coordinate with her college schedule. I enjoyed my first time experience drinking their really refreshing and very decadent White Chocolate Frappuccino with the added Whipped Cream Topping. And especially trying one of their very popular and New Albacore Tuna Panini Sandwiches. I told the woman employee that I will come back again when I am shopping at this Carlsbad Westfield Shopping Center Mall soon and rider a new flavor. I received excellent customer service and really delicious flavored FrappuccinoCoffee. This Frappuccino was lightly sweetened. I highly recommend this Gold Coast Coffee Shop.
