First off, the service was incredibly kind. I think the owner or manager helped me out. He was so nice. Although there was a small line, he didn't make me feel rushed to order as quickly as I could. So that was already very welcoming. I got the iced smoked salt maple latte, half sweet. He warned me it was in the sweeter side so I am glad I got half sweet because it's still decently sweet! I subbed oatmilk which was free. This was $7. There were several vegan pastry options. We got the blueberry muffin and cinnamon roll. 5/5, no notes! We grabbed it to go but there was both inside and outdoor seating.
I stopped by after work in Oceanside one time, and was surprised to find that this coffee shop in downtown Oceanside had easy free parking and a non-busy space to sit and relax with a latte in the afternoon. They had some unique lattes on their menu, and I had a nice time sitting down here before my drive home. This place should have more traffic! Maybe I just got lucky with the timing.
This coffee shop is located conveniently next to the transit station. It is a convenient place to grab a drink while waiting for friends to arrive on the train. They have fun seasonal interesting flavors. The baristas are also very helpful. One of my friends did not want something sweet and they have a great recommendation (and said they could make some of the drinks half sweet if needed)
Great coffee in Oceanside! I ordered the Tribute latte, really enjoyed the orange oil in it. They use and sell bird rock coffee beans here. Syrups seem to be a mixture of homemade, Torani, and twenty two barista. I noticed they had many vegan options in terms of pastries Service was friendly! Somewhat limited seating inside, no more than 30 seats probably. 3 outlets available. Wifi and bathroom available. The only downside I would note is the noise level is a bit on the higher side even with noise cancelling headphones, difficult to study or take meetings here. It's much more of a social or grab and go coffee shop. The offer discounts for teachers, first responders, and transit workers as it is conveniently located across the street from Oceanside Transit Center. They also have a points system tied to your phone number. Would come back for coffee!
Not really blown away. Nice outdoor seating by the pier. $18 before tip for a grilled cheese, prosciutto, and pesto sandwich and a latte. I got the molasses latte. I didn't love it at all. Had an unexpected flavor that I was not in to. I drank it anyway. The vibes inside are very industrial and the outdoor seating is very sunny. Not a good spot in my opinion to stay all day and work or even relax for a while. Out of all the other cafes in the area this just fell short for me, flavor, pricing and vibes wise. Probably won't be coming back
Great small coffee shop right on the corner in downtown Oceanside! Tried this place out for the first time and liked it. Pretty small on the inside and staff were very friendly. I got the Campfire Mocha which is like drinking a Ghirardelli square. Perfect if you're looking for a sweet treat pick me up. My boyfriend got the Salted Maple latte which was also really good. We both got grilled cheeses with pesto and he added prosciutto. Really loved those! Want to come back again.
We came here on a thursday morning and got an iced vanilla latte and an iced smoked salt maple latte, and it was the perfect blend. The coffee beans were smooth, and the lattes were the perfect sweetness for me. The girls in the front were really sweet, and got our drinks out quickly. It is a small coffee shop, but cozy.
I've finally brought my coffee lover sister here as my favorite coffee shop in Downtown O. I recommended the Tribute Latte and she and her partner really liked it. I ordered from their Seasonal Menu, the pumpkin spice latte. I drank it hot with coconut milk and it was so good! If you love PUMPKIN, you can taste the pumpkin puree and its not full of sugar like starbeezie. We sat in their outdoor patio area and flipped through the Osider magazine. I'll have to officially rep their brand and buy merch next time I'm in.
This was a nice find came back twice during my stay They have quick efficient service and make a really good creamy Carmel macchiato. The have grilled cheese for real food and it's really good . Love the chill ambiance . Will be back when in town
Super friendly staff with wonderful recommendations! The coffee and toast was delicious. The inside of the place was very clean and a calm cozy environment. Seats inside and outside. It's a nice place to come by to sit and relax or get some work done
Loved Camp Coffee, I went here multiple times while I visited Oceanside and there Red Pesto sandwich was insane. I was obsessed with it and order it everytime I went in. The atmosphere was great and coffee was awesome as well! I tried the camp mocha with roasted marshmallows on top and it was good. I also tried another drink but I forgot the name.
After taking a nice walk in O..Decided I wanted a coffee and found Camp Coffee It is tucked off the mainstream but definitely a great place to get a coffee I had a nitro brew with coconut foam. Delicious! Great service Great quiet place to hang out and chill for a few Nice indoor and outdoor seating areas
One of my favorite coffee shops in Oceanside! I love coming here and bringing my friends to show them this lil gem! The drinks & food are always on point! Never misses
We did a little staycation in Oceanside, so I had to find a coffee shop to try! The name caught my attention, and when you walk in, you'll notice the cool camping theme interior. I got the hot ceremony latte which was great, especially cuz of the cardamom. The barista was friendly, and our drinks came out quickly. This place is just a few minutes walking from the pier. read more

This was a cute spot we randomly happened to come across. I like that it was by the beach but not on more of the Main Street so it wasn't as busy. The grilled cheese was good and coffee was okay. I am not the biggest coffee drinker but I did try their pumpkin spice latte. The coffee tasted a little bitter but that could have just been me since I don't drink coffee too often. I would go back and give it a try with one of their signature drinks next time. read more

Stellar coffee shop. The Campsite Iced Cappuccino is one of the best special drinks I've had in a while. Meanwhile, the grilled cheese is a bargain, at $6. Loved the cheddar and havarti combo. My kids scarfed up their sandwiches, without a hint of protest. My middle child (6 yo) even said it's one of his top 3 grilled cheeses. This is a must-try for anyone visiting Oceanside. read more

Best tasting coffee in Oceanside! Whenever I visit the area I have to come here! Maybe it's because they use Bird Rock Roasters beans, but that first sip just hits different. I've had the molasses vanilla latte and s'mores latte and both are amazing and not overpowering with sweetness - you get a good hit of espresso taste which is welcome. They have grilled cheese but I opted for toast, idk what I was thinking I ordered LOL but prob wouldn't get just toast again, though it was tasty! Service was a little sleepy but I noticed they helped an elderly man charge his phone behind the counter lol. They also have a nice bathroom for customers. Cool industrial chic high ceilings inside and outdoor seating is near the Amtrak depot. read more

Coffee. Elixir of the gods. Whenever I'm in any town, I always stop at the coffee shop. Today we are in Oceanside and I was so fortunate to find Camp Coffee Company. The people that worked there were so nice and friendly. It's such a welcoming space. The coffee was absolutely delicious. It was rich and full-bodied. I even bought a bag of beans to bring home with me. The parking was OK but I think that Oceanside downtown is more of a place to walk. You have to back in to the parking spaces and at a slant. I am not the best Parker but I did the best I could! We also got a ham and cheese croissant which was out of this world. This shop is very the dog friendly. We met Millie inside the shop and she only had one eye. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I went two different days when visiting family in nearby San Diego. On the first day we got there around 10am and it wasn't super busy, and service was quick. The seasonal fig grilled cheese I got was really good and the cold foam on the coconut cold brew was very creamy and good. My favorite drink was what I got the second day we went, the iced Tribute latte, I can see why it's one of their signature drinks. It's vanilla bean syrup and orange oil and I didn't have high hopes for the orange flavor but it was actually very orange forward. If you like orange peel candies this would be a perfect latte for you. It was busier the second day as we came around 1pm but the service was still really fast! Inside is really nicely decorated (everything is camping themed) and was clean and had music playing but not too loud. Will definitely re-visit next time I'm in Oceanside. read more

I used to think Camp was overrated. The first couple times I went, it was out of convenience while visiting the beach/pier. Their drinks are good, but nothing to go out of the way for. However, now being a regular customer during my weekly visits to the beach, I'm starting to notice the difference in their product. The best thing about their drinks is that it's never too sweet. Don't get me wrong, they will satisfy a sweet tooth, but I don't have to ask for less sweetness in order to make it drinkable. They also source local, quality ingredients. Most recently, I had their seasonal candy cane mocha. I love me a peppermint mocha from Starbucks with two pumps peppermint, and one pump mocha, which is half the syrup in their standard version and still sweet as hell. Camp's version featured local Nibble semi sweet chocolate, and peppermint oil. The complex chocolatey sweetness, along with the pop of peppermint oil was so good! No modifications needed. I also appreciate the always chill vibe of the staff here. Check out Camp if you get the chance. read more

This small shop a few blocks from the Oceanside beach was the perfect stop after my morning run. The place was sunny, cozy, and smelled amazing. A small selection of pastries was available at the counter. I ordered a warmed cheese danish, a vanilla latte, and added a drip coffee since I like to try the drip and espresso at a new spot. The latte had incredibly smooth foam on top, a small detail I find rare and enjoyable. Both drinks were rich, smooth, and delicious. read more

They use Nibble Chocolate here!!! I've been a fan of Nibble (a minimally processed San Diego brand) since I discovered them at the Little Italy Farmers Market in 2016. They also use Bird Rock coffee, and they pull better drinks than the BR location in Carlsbad (see my 1-star review on that place). I don't typically get sweet drinks but I'd been eyeing the Camp Mocha for a long time. It was one of the best I've ever had; it was velvety smooth all the way to the last sip. I had a warmed vegan blueberry cream pastry provided by Split Bake Shop, and it was plated nicely! Everything exceeded my expectations! The service was awesome... the girls there were all super friendly and professional. Often times, employees get caught up in personal conversations with each other, but they focused on customer interactions here and that means a lot to me. Overall, I look forward to coming back and sharing the experience with friends. Pros: - quality ingredients (also, one size of cup means they can remain consistent!) - location and ambience - reasonably priced - real plates and cups! - service Cons: - none really read more

Very cute place! The interior and lighting makes a cozy, elevated, and comfortable ambiance! The workers are all pretty friendly as well, greeting us when we go in and being patient with ordering. The prices are quite generic for coffee these days. The americano was a cheaper option but still good quality! Personally I did not like the latte much, it tastes the same as an instant coffee + oat milk latte I can make at home normally for 50¢. The grilled cheese was generic, nice crunch and toastiness and melted cheese (we got both the cheeses). I would probably not come back here again if I had the chance, not too much stands out about it but for a quick bite and drink it's a great place! If I lived in the area, I might come here to study as well (there's great seating lighting and outlets!) read more

Clean shop at the bottom of a mixed-use building. Pleasant seating inside & outside on the patio with views of the street for people watching. The staff are friendly & chatty. While staying in Oceanside, I needed to good coffee shop for a relaxed coffee and bite in an environment that I could also be productive. - Blackberry Banana Muffin - 16 oz Cold Brew The aesthetic of the shop was cute and centered around the idea of camping. They have menus available as you walk in and you can choose from a number of classic coffees or camp themed coffees as well as a couple food choices like oatmeal and toast. At the ordering counter, there is also a selection of pastries available which look very delicious. I opted for a cold brew and blackberry muffin. The cold brew, which i added oat milk to was delicious and a perfect way to start my morning. The blackberry and banana muffin, though, was something else. It was thick, moist, loaded with blackberries, with large sugar crystals decorating the top. It was so good that i actually ordered another! The coffee shop is definitely a great spot to hang out to enjoy a drink and bite as well as a great spot to be productive and take care of business. Wifi is also available and is very reliable read more

By no means am I a coffee snob but this coffee might have just made me slightly snobby and set the bar higher when it comes to coffee joints. I got their nitro cold brew with whole milk mulled spice cold foam and wow was that shit life changing. I'd never heard of mulled spice on coffee but it complements it perfectly. My girl got the tribute latte and she got hooked on it too. We'll definitely be coming back next time we're in Oceanside or passing through on our way to OC/LA. P.S. Was in Oceanside for the weekend and was on the search for some coffee. Stumbled across Camp Coffee Company on Yelp, saw it had good ratings and came by. I loved the camp theme that they were going for: the decor made me feel like I was out in the wilderness and all the drinks had camp themed names. I ordered the Tribute latte: vanilla, orange latte with oat milk and it wasn't too sweet! It was the perfect amount of both flavors that balanced out, it reminded me of some nice chocolates I had with the same flavors! I would love to come back to try their Camp mocha which was basically smores coffee! read more

This is a fun local coffee spot. I got the tribute which is an orange flavored coffee. I was worried it was going to be too in your face orange but actually it's an aromatic so it's pretty subtle. My husband got the Molasses Vanilla latte and it was BOMB, wayyy better than mine. The prices are responsible for the serving and quality. The lady helping us out really couldn't help us pick out what we wanted since there menu is a little odd but maybe she was new. Anyways I recommend it if you find yourself visiting O'side. read more
