I was in Oceanside for work and wanted to check out the area for coffee shops. I came across Camp Coffee Company, not only it was a few blocks convenient in walking, it was also opened early. I got myself a molasses iced latte, it was nice creamy and sweet. Both people working there were really nice and the place looked nice and clean. There already a few people in the store early in the morning. read more

I've been here a few times. They have vegan pastry options and vegan milk options for coffee. It's a small coffee shop with indoor seating. Located on the backside of a busy street on the corner. Parking is limited to street parking. read more

Small, cozy place with good coffee! Cute items and whole bean coffee for sale. Friendly barista.

Stopped in for a quick coffee while on vacation, what a nice little spot close to the beach! We ordered the Camp Mocha and one of the seasonal lattes, it took a little bit to get our drinks but they were just delicious! The camp mocha has a toasted marshmallow in it and it makes the drink incredible! So yummy! Also ordered a kougnin aman twist pastry which was yummy as well. Came by again the the next day and ordered a quick coffee to go, good stuff! You can order online as well. read more

Anytime we come to Oceanside, we make it a point to stop here! After our first visit, Camp easily became a favorite spot of ours in the area. The aesthetic and coziness of the space is so calming. Pair that with the energetic, welcoming staff and you're in for a good time. We try different drinks every visit, but this time we got an iced camp mocha with oat milk and an iced molasses vanilla latte with almond milk. Our drinks always come out quick and we enjoy them out on the patio before heading out for our day. Thank you for being a great space with awesome vibes and drinks! We will be back soon! read more

I love trying out local coffee shops while traveling, and really high ratings led me to Camp Coffee Company in Oceanside. It's located a block off the main strip in Oceanside that leads to the pier, so it was a little bit quieter and easier to find parking. It's not a large spot, but there's ample seating inside, with classy interiors. I've been disappointed by coffee shops by nice interiors before, but the iced white mocha drink I had was probably one of the best iced caffeinated drinks I've had in a very long time. It went down smooth and it was taste perfection, so high ratings for Camp Coffee Company are warranted, so I recommend a visit for a caffeine fix when in Oceanside, CA. read more

Great tasting matcha and friendly customer service. We Will be back next time we're staying in the area

Staff: super friendly. A gentleman who works there was having a coffee and as soon as he saw my dog asked if he could give her a treat and whipped cream. She was in love. I was grateful. Drinks: rich! Had the mocha complete with roasted marshmallows on top and my husband had the molasses latte. We both enjoyed our drinks. The mocha was rich. Got both of ours hot. Ambience: great. Small coffee shop, super cute inside. Parking was easy. Def will come back read more

Good stop. Morning walk for a good black coffee. Not disappointed. Easy to be outside on a nice patio at a quiet location away from the coast hwy. A regular spot if I lived here. This is a good stop. read more

I ordered the iced mocha campfire and a brown sugar monkey bread, my friend had a iced white mocha and the cheese danish. I ended up not liking the iced campfire as it was overly chocolate flavored and semi gritty I definitely should have ordered it hot instead, I went to reorder a white mocha and the owner (I believe) didn't charge me for the white mocha which I appreciated so much! The monkey bread pulled apart beautifully and was delicious, the cheese danish was also amazing. I'm from out of town but if I ever came back to the area I will definitely be back! read more

Unfortunately we had to hit the road and my favorite place for a matcha latte right down the street didn't open for a half an hour. So, Camp Coffee it was. I couldn't remember why, but I felt like I'd been underwhelmed by their matcha latte's in the past. First taste confirmed that I was indeed underwhelmed by their matcha latte. Of course they get props for even offering one, so don't stop. But it was mediocre at best. I like my matchas a "little" on the "green" side and a "little" on the "sweet" side....a perfect balance! This one was a tad heavy on the green and a tad light on the sweet, making it unbalanced. Of course, if I ever was in a bind and needed my matcha latte, I'd come back. But I'd explore other options first. read more

The richness of the chocolate with whipped cream, even toasted marshmallows. Sprinkled in Cinnamon. This was such an amazing drink! I can't imagine the coffee, definitely coming here again. I got a ham and croissant as well! Warmed up, it's amazing, it even has sesame seeds. It was very clean and comforting setting. read more

Highly Recommend This Place. This was an awesome Coffee Shop find . My most favorite I've found while vacationing in Oceanside. The inside is cute and there are a few tables and seats . Also an outdoor sitting area as well . Looks like a nice lounge spot to pull out a book and enjoy your coffee at or meet with a friend for a coffee run :) The staff was kind and the girl at the registered was helpful what to recommend But still had No idea what to order so .. I actually ordered 3 coffees just to try and I loved them all. I never seen a coffee menu so unique like this . Molasses Vanilla Latte 5/5 Iced Tribute Latte 3.5/5 Ceremony Latte 5/5 Chocolate croissant was good 3/5 The glitter pastry I wish was warmed up when served but that ok . I know they were both yummy but I know for a fact the coffee was 100xs more memorable. Looking forward to visiting again . read more

Stopped by here while waiting to jump onto the surfliner to Los Angeles from San Diego, and wow their cardamom iced latte with cold foam, so delicious! I'm not much of a coffee drinker since I'm normally very sensitive to caffeine but being on the road the last couple of months has eased my way into being ok with drinking lattes. I did kind of feel awkwardly awkward there as it was very quiet inside and the baristas were not as social and that's ok, it took a while for my drink, I was a bit confused, but the wait was well worth it! When I watched the girl pump the cold foam I realized, ok this is the real deal. My first sip I was already addicted. I wish I didn't live 30 minutes away otherwise this would be my go to spot! I'm literally waking up in the morning trying to figure out where in north county San Diego that has something similar that the quality and taste can match as good! Now the potato chive biscuit I had, was not as good unfortunately, I couldn't eat it right when it was warmed up, but the moment I took a bite out of it, it tasted like cardboard :( maybe it's because it was a vegan bite but, ya, that wasn't such a pleasure but my latte, I can't stop dreaming about! read more

It was very nice that the owners reached out but do they really think it was my first latte experience. I find it funny. If you are a fan of foam for almost half your drink and not the typical quarter, then this place is for you. read more

Camp Coffee - A good tasting latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Oceanside, California

Amazing coffee in a relaxed and welcoming camping/outdoors themed space. Camp Coffee hones all the timing, temperature, and technique needed to make you a perfect cup using local roasted beans from Bird Rock Coffee as a strong foundation. Tribute Latte: the only thing I've had close to this is the Cafe Nico from Vivace in Seattle. It's an excellent Latte with hints of orange and vanilla that add some brightness and freshness to a clean and light coffee. Really good on a cold day, we loved this one. Iced Campsite Cappuccino: Oat Milk for a pleasant almost cookie like taste with the foam. Cardamom and honey not overdone, really made this cappuccino unique and tasty. Excellent and recommended stop for coffee, our biggest regret is we don't live closer to Oceanside. read more

We really enjoyed Camp Coffee. Their coffee, kind workers and amount of seating is all something that makes us love coming here. The parking is a little hit or miss depending on timing but there is a free parking structure across the street or it is walking distance from so much in downtown that you could walk from anywhere in downtown oceanside. We came here to work remote and get a change of scenery and so it's always nice to find somewhere with good coffee and dependable wifi. read more

This place have been on my list for a while and we finally had a chance to stop by Saturday morning. Latte and Smoked Salt Mocha was delicious. Coffee was really good and barista was nice to let us know that would Take a few minutes until our order was ready. We tried couple vegan pastries, vegan danish and the gluten free blueberry muffin was really good. We had a hard time choosing what to get and was really surprised with the service we got since I read tons of good reviews about the great service. The lady that took our order looked annoyed and felt like she didn't want answer any of our questions about the pastries or coffee. Hope she is having a better day today but hope she understands that she should put a smile on her face and be friendly since she chooses to work with costumer service. read more

As always I scrolled through Yelp and found this gem. The reviews don't lie, the coffee is as good as it comes. They were pretty busy early morning and yes they do take social distancing seriously! They have several specialties. I decided to go with the Molasses Vanilla Latte with half and half instead of whole milk. I enjoy my lattes Breve instead, sadly it's always extra, but worth it! I feel like You can really taste the espresso versus ordering with whole milk, the drink itself gets too milky. I would definitely recommend Camp Coffee 10/10. read more

The Tribute Latte is so good I almost got a second one to go. If I didn't value the sleep I hope to get tonight I would have. It's an orange vanilla flavor and neither flavor was overpowering. They complimented each other so well if felt like a real treat instead of "just a latte." During my visit there was plenty of open seating on their patio so I grabbed a table with my pup. When I ordered they offered a pup cup. I declined because of my pup's sensitive stomach, but I see in their pictures that they include a little dog bone in it which is just so adorable! The whole experience interacting with their staff was five stars as well- they were all so friendly! Since it was around lunch time I tried their grilled cheese. You can choose which cheese you want- I went all out and got both. I was not disappointed. The cheese was flavorful and the bread was toasted to perfection. They are located in Downtown Oside and have two parking garages nearby in case you aren't able to find street parking. I can't wait to return to try some of their other lattes soon! read more

Coffed not great at all. Skip for me! I was in the area and desperate for some coffee and it definitely did not hit the spot. So disappointed! We came to Camp Coffee because it was one of the closest coffee shops to where we were staying at. I thought the coffee was okay. I ordered the vanilla latte and it was below mid. I couldn't really taste any espresso and it tasted very watery. There was not much flavor to my latte. I was pretty disappointed because I was looking forward to getting coffee after my walk on the beach. read more

Supercool coffee spot in Oceanside not far off the freeway. The design is woody, hip and just perfect. I ordered a cold brew with oat milk and orange oil. It was so good and so fun that they have orange oil! One pet peeve of mine is not making homemade syrups and using Torani and stuff. But I can overlook it here because it's such a cool spot! Wish they would though. Also, they have a really decked out, expensive espresso machine. And their bagged coffee is really cute!
