Camp Coffee - Tribute latte - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Oceanside, California

One of the best lattes I've ever had! I got a hot campsite latte with almond milk and it was sooo tasty. Not sure if it's their almond milk or the flavorings but it warmed the soul. Also tried the iced campsite cappuccino the way it comes which was a hit but I enjoyed the hot version better. Would recommend! read more

Very chill spot, with good food and coffee! The staff members were all very friendly, and the grilled cheese sandwich was quite tasty. The ambiance is very mellow, and while its a smaller coffee shop there's plenty of seating available. They provide outlets and wifi, so it's easy to get work done while keeping your computer charged. It's also conveniently located right near the beach and Mission St. (main street in the downtown area). Would recommend stopping by if you need a pick-me-up or simply want to get some work done! it's clean and well-managed. read more

Cute little coffee shop only a few minutes from the pier! I got the Camp mocha which was delicious and had toasted marshmallows on top that were great! Glad we were able to find a great coffee shop so close to our hotel! read more

Cute little coffee shop near the boardwalk. My husband got the tribute latte, which was pretty good. It's light and you can def taste the hint of Orange oil they put in it. Not sure if it's enough caffeine for us but it was different and not bad taste wise. I was excited for the camp mocha with the toasted marshmallow thinking it was going to be like a s'mores in a cup. It was in my opinion just ok. I was super excited from all the reviews that I had something different painted in my mind of what it was going to be like. It's def different super cute looking, but I just didn't taste the marshmallow in it. It was just a mocha drink. Maybe it would be diff if I had ordered it hot. Maybe also because I ordered it with oat milk. Overall, it's worth a try! Would def go again if ever in the area and try my drink hot. read more

Mulled spice latte in February? Yes please. I was pleasantly surprised at the warming spices in my iced latte. It wasn't overwhelmingly holiday spiced, if you know what I mean. I enjoyed it and returned the next day for the hot version. I equally liked both. Very fair prices and very friendly service. read more

One of my favorite coffee places to go to here in Oside. Location has plenty of free parking (yes, I count the parking structure accross the street as theirs) and their coffee as well as their food is really well made and tastes great. Friendly staff and there's enough room inside and out to hang out. My favorite is the Tribute. Not a lot of orange-y coffee options (maybe none) in other places so this is the place for that. I get that orange taste that I like without it overpowering the coffee taste. Please go if you haven't been and you won't be disappointed. read more

Came here because we were staying at a nearby hotel in oceanside and checking out new coffee shops always bring me joy. Minimal seating inside but there is an outdoor patio as well. We were there in late December morning so it was a bit cool outside. Ordred the Camp smores mocha (hot) which was very tasty and a specialty latte that had cardamom in it. Aside from pastries, there isn't much to eat so this is more of a coffee place. read more

I came here to get some studying done and this shop is not only very small and cramped, but the noise level is also pretty loud as it is very busy here. I ordered the Molasses Vanilla Latte and ham and cheese croissant. Both were pretty basic, nothing really out of this world. No complaints just will have to be adventurous and try out the other specials this shop is known for! read more

This is a cute little coffee place around the corner from the train station and the Springhill suites in Oceanside. There was a homeless guy in there that was super creepy and dirty but other than that it was an okay experience! I like their gluten-free muffins that I bought and the coffee definitely woke me up! Honestly just... whelming. Not underwhelmed, not overwhelmed by Camp Coffee. Ordered the molasses vanilla latte and two pastries. Vegan blueberry lemon scone was OK, but super soft compared to a normal crumbly scone. Vegan raspberry pop tart had some good flavor and was pretty good, but rather hollow. Service was good and the place was pretty busy. Overall, nothing special, but it wasn't horrible. If I'm back in the area, I might try the S'mores latte, but if there was another option, I might pass up Camp. read more

Camp comes through time and again. The staff is excellent at their craft, kind, helpful and all around great. They make an effort to talk with you, and provide an exceptional beverage all in one fell swoop - every single time. It's obvious that a lot of care goes into their ingredients and products. Not only does everything taste like perfection, but it's clearly handcrafted by a dedicated team. They have been nothing but a joy since joining our neighborhood. read more

You don't get better coffee, the baristas know what they're doing, they go above and beyond to ensure your morning is enhanced by the coffee they make for you, and the ambience within the shop itself feels like walking into a friend's house. i love so many things about this coffee shop. first of all, the menu has so many options so there's something for whatever mood you may be in. my favorites are the vanilla latte, flat white (with cinnamon and vanilla), or just a regular drip coffee (which is honestly the best drip coffee i've ever had.) the grilled cheeses and toasts are my favorite above everything. if you go to camp, you have to try them the ambiance is great and i often go there to read or do work on my computer for a couple of hours at a time. the parking is probably the best of any coffee shop you will find in oceanside. if street parking isn't available, there's a parking structure right next to it that is free. i will keep coming back here and would recommend it to anyone! read more

This is my favorite study spot in Oceanside!! The location is great, coffee is delicious, and people who work there are awesome. They close at 4 so study early and enjoy the vibe. So chill and welcoming. Iced flat white & the Hokkaido milk bread concha is my jam. If you like strong coffee that's not sweet, but balance it with a delicious pastry. read more

The coffee here is delicious. Ordered the nitro cold brew and it is very smooth and not too overwhelming. Employees here are very friendly and the coffee shop is also very cozy and clean. First time here. Good vibes. Ordered takeout only. Their molasses vanilla latte with oat milk substitute was OK, definitely not sweet, but it wasn't my fave. Their nitro cold brew was OK too. Such a cute shop! Ordered the vegan + GF orange lavender scone with the CAMP Mocha bevvie which is "s'mores inspired". YUM! The drink had a s'more syrup, vegan chocolate sauce and toasted marshmallows w/ graham cracker shavings. They even do a "s'mores station where they fire torch the marshmallow. So cute. I also ordered a iced chai latte and cold brew for my fiancé and his sister. They seemed to enjoy it as well read more

Yooooooo!!! Y'all know I love Camp. I didn't think my opinion could get any better on this coffee shop. I love the theme and the attention to detail placed on that theme flowing through the whole business, but.... My go to is the Tribute (hot or iced). It's my favorite. But today my wife and I got the Camp Mocha. All I can say is I wish I had recorded the barista making our drinks. They literally hand roasted the marshmallows that go in this signature Camp drink! My wife loves chocolate, that's why we decided on the Camp mocha, plus we had my fave (Tribute-iced) yesterday. Gotta have compromise in marriage, right? This drink is "on hit"! It is delicious. I was a little concerned it would be too sweet for us, but the staff that took our order reassured me it is well balanced. It absolutely is! It was perfect. Not too sweet. Perfectly chocolate with cinnamon. The perfect S'more's inspired mocha. I had to do an update to my review for this one. So you know it's delicious. At this point, if you haven't checked Camp Coffee out yet, you're losing "cool" points. As always, the staff were awesome! I love that I've been seeing the owner every time I'm there. Very nice! See y'all again soon! read more

Prices are high here but you have to pay for quality products! I found this place searching for good coffee shops in the Oceanside area. I ordered: -cortado with oat milk -cinnamon bun The cinnamon bun was $4 but was also large in size. It was very tasty and well worth the cost. The server told us it couldn't be warmed though because they didn't have a microwave, only a panini press. We learned their pastries are brought over from Hazel and Jade. The cortado was delicious and was served in a traditional espresso shot glass. The ambience was adorable, and the calming music along with the friendly staff made our visit that much better! read more

Five stars for their coffee! The iced campfire cappuccino is my favorite and the perfect amount of sweet. The other options are just as good- campfire smores for a treat, ceremony latte, etc. Also my pup loves getting a pup cup there. I only wish it was a better place to work, but there's a perpetual deep fryer smell that gives me a headache so I can't really linger. But it's a shop that caters to commuters anyway so it's good for its purpose :) read more

The matcha latte is really delicious and yummy scone! If you don't like sweet matchas it's pretty good, just make sure to request for no added sugar. I also highly recommend their grilled cheese sandwiches - adding prosciutto into it was a welcome addition. Space is good to do work/study! Limited outlets but still available. Love the indoor and outdoor concept, nice if you like some sd sunshine or the ac. Parking is pretty easy on the streets or free in the parking structure nearby. Yuuuum!! I'm always on the hunt for new coffee shops to try and this place was sitting on my bookmarks for coffee places to visit in Northern SD. I'm never really in this area, so it was great that I made a pit stop here to finally try it! I got the S'mores Mocha and even though it doesn't have much caffeine in it; the drink itself was very cozy and good! Not too sweet but perfectly melts in your mouth with the marshmallow addition. Great coffee and a great and convenient location! Love to go here to meet up with friends before beach walks. Plenty of seating inside and outside if you do want to hang around or study/work. My friends and I all love the camp mocha as it really does taste like a s'mores in a cup! The mocha isn't overpowering in the sweet factor so you can still taste the rich coffee which is always ideal. Marshmallows are even added on top for the actual s'mores look. Easy parking right next to the building too! read more

I love the concept of this place with the earthy, camp feeling. My coffee was so tasty and the marshmallows are a fun touch, they melted into the coffee and the rest just stuck to the bottom of the cup. It really did taste like a s'mores. I also ordered the toast with goat cheese and honey. It was a good thick piece of toast, I didn't care so much for the goat cheese but I could see the appeal. The layout of the shop is a bit crowded but I think it's to maximize seating inside. There are a few street parking spots and 2 parking structures, one for the transit station right across the street and one for the building. Inside and outside seating are available. When you walk in the shop the register for ordering is to the right side. Make sure to look up the right side wall to enjoy some art of large trees. They have to go cups and glass mugs if you want to avoid single use items. read more

This place is a great edition to the new development near the pier! I can't say it's rare to find some funky coffee joint downtown, there are a ton of them, but this one has its own flare not like the others. The staff was really friendly, and walked me through the menu and what each drink had that was unique. I'm looking forward to getting through the specialty drinks more and drinking lots of cold brew. The inside is nice and has seating. The location is really prime right by the pier and the rest of downtown. There was enough parking but it was midweek so who knows when it's peak season. I'll definitely be back to try more drinks here! Yummy read more

For all my chocolate lovers, this one is for you!!! I ordered the Iced Camp Mocha and it was an absolute delight. There was plenty of high quality chocolate, marshmallows, and coffee in the drink. See my ratings breakdown below: Ambiance: 4/5 - Felt a bit small and didn't seem like a place I would sit down to do my work or homework at, but there were people in there sitting and enjoying conversation to have a lively feel. There was seating available and they had tables for us when we got there. Service: 5/5 - The drink did not take long at all to make and staff were very friendly. I had a conversation with one of them about where there Chocolate comes from and about the local area. She said they get their chocolate from Nibble in downtown San Diego (also highly recommend their chocolate) and we ended up checking it out afterwards! Food: 5/5 - My drink was very refreshing and chocolatey. Perfect for a warm weather day and I would order this again when I come back. It was not too sweet and you could taste the blend of coffee and chocolate masterfully. As a former barista, I can respect the craftsmanship in making this drink. I absolutely loved it! Price: 5/5 - Normal price for a coffee and I felt I paid what it was worth. Did not feel too high or too low. Overall: 5/5 - HIGHLY recommend this place as their staff and their coffee are both top tier quality. read more
