I used Camelback Moving to move from an apartment to a condo a few months ago. My apartment was a third floor walkup, so there was no way I was doing that myself! I called probably about 3 weeks in advance and had no problem setting up the move for a Saturday. They called to remind me about the move the day before, and called right before they arrived, which was right on time. The movers were EXCELLENT. I was able to schedule Camelback Moving on short notice, on the weekend day & time that I needed. The two movers arrived on time and were ready to work. Both were very efficient, thorough and careful. While one guy was disassembling my CA king bed frame, the head board fell on him (luckily, it's padded!) and knicked my wall. He was very honest and apologetic. I told him not to worry since I was going to touch up all the paint anyways. We're replacing flooring and having our home painted so needed all the furniture moved, including an oversized custom cabinet. We also had a safe that was bolted into the ground. One company we hired was unable to move the large cabinet and safe, so I contacted Camelback. They were able to schedule us the same day and the crew were fantastic! They were able to move both pieces professionally and efficiently with care for our belongings. Also, when I called to schedule I wanted to confirm that they could move the large pieces and they assured me they could. The manager even called me later to follow up given my concern. Moved last Friday in 120 degree heat. Movers Jason and Chad showed up on time. Both guys worked 8 hours straight in the heat, fit everything into their truck perfectly on the 1st try when I was sure it would take two trips. They weren't notified that my new house was two stories but didn't complain at all when they got there and realized most of my items needed to be hauled to the second floor. These guys were the most hard working professional moving crew I've ever seen. They were clear on the charges, explained the invoice in detail and made sure everything was where I needed it to be before leaving for the day. I used Camelback Moving for a move scheduled in mid March - I chose them after calling several different companies which were more expensive and less professional. I chose an hourly rate with 2 men and 1 truck (at the recommendation of the company) - I was hesitant to do this because I was concerned that the company would have less incentive to work quickly. On the day of the move, my movers - Adam and Marc - called 30 minutes before their arrival, arrived ON TIME and immediately went to work. They worked quickly and efficiently. I have a HUGE bed with posts and a headboard/footboard. They took it apart in 45 minutes (this is a minor miracle being that it took much longer for the actual designer of the bed to put it together) and then put it back together in record speed. Everything arrived at my new house in perfect condition, they placed everything where I wanted it and were so nice about it!! Camelback Moving is a 5 star company! The crew I had was the hardest working i could imagine. My whole house was loaded up within 90 minutes and the unload was even faster. Moved all the way across town with all of my stuff, start to finish, in 2.5 hours. Great price, funny and hard working crew, and perfect quality. Nothing missing, everything placed right where i needed it, and the guys even helped move furniture downstairs for a donation pickup I scheduled for later. Couldn't ask for a better move. Also, I loved that before the move, they emailed a very candid explanation of insurance, that they insured based on weight, and that I should contact my homeowner's insurance or take out a one time policy if I wanted to. Camelback came in, did a free in home (and storage unit) estimate, got back to us with a competitive price and very upfront "fine print". We were impressed with their professionalism and timeliness. They picked up everything on Friday and had our stuff to our new place by Sunday morning (over 700 miles away). The only cons were very minimal. The references for interstate moves were old phone numbers, and it took longer than I was expecting to get our estimate back... but it was tax season, so I understand. Excellent in every way! Hats off to both crews that moved us! We had a three man crew the first day. They had to deal with two bedrooms upstairs. The truck was packed to the rafters. Everyone kept moving and they took great care to protect our items with shrink wrap and blankets. The second crew arrived at our new home a day later (as requested) because of one of many foul ups by our buyers mortgage company (Suburban mortgage/the worst/see my previous review). The two man crew kept moving as well and did an excellent job. They asked questions on placement and took care not to damage our goods or the new house. Thank you to both crews. We only had two things broken during this move and that was completely our doing. A special mention goes to Stephanie in the office. She handled our scheduling, re-scheduling and rerescheduling (again thanks to the above named mortgage company) with patience, kindness and understanding. I had initially done the first part of my move with a buddy of mine and a UHaul and that was pretty much enough for me! Camelback moving was great with scheduling a quick turn around for me with excellent customer service! The morning of the move my 2 movers rolled with the punches with the mixup from management at my storage company and the extreme heat (because of course we all love to move in the god forsaken heat of summer!). They were speedy, friendly, and did an overall great job! And for all of you who are budget conscious like I am - in my particular situation it actually would have been cheaper to go with camelback moving for both legs of my move then renting a UHaul and doing the work by myself. This is my second time using this company and I can honestly say I don't even need to look for other companies to use in the future. The two times I have used them, they have always been early or right on time, the movers were always professional and especially thorough to make sure everything was loaded and moved. The second time using them I also had them pack my kitchen and they took extreme care for all of my items, not just the fragile ones which was well beyond my expectations. The phone staff is quick, could be a little more personable when talking to them; they always seem rushed. I highly recommend Camelback Moving. Rarely do I give a 5-star rating but our moving experience deserves top-of-the-line marks. We used Camelback Moving for both packing and moving. We moved from Ahwatukee to Scottsdale two weeks ago from a house we had lived in for 25 years. In other words we had lots of stuff! Three packers showed up on day 1 and worked hard for about 8 hours. Since local movers, including Camelback, charge by the hour, one doesn't want to pay for guys going outside to have a smoke or take a break. They didn't take a break! By the end of the day, all of our "treasures" were in boxes. Day 2, we had six men and two trucks arrive at our home. They loaded all of the contents of our house drove to Scottsdale and unloaded the boxes into rooms as directed by us. We bought lunch for the guys and they stopped the meter. In other words, they did not charge us while they took time to eat. To date I have not found a single item that was damaged or broken in the move. To summarize, Camelback delivered exactly the number of people promised, they showed up when promised and they worked hard. If I'm every crazy enough to move again I will call these folks! read more

Our Interstate move went smoothly and I attribute it to the Foreman of our move Zac. Zac was professional and passionate about his job to move all of our belongings safely and without damage. His crew Juan B. and Mike G. were also very polite and serious about their work to get our stuff from Point A to Point B with minimal hassle. They were also very nice.
