The crew I had was the hardest working i could imagine. My whole house was loaded up within 90 minutes and the unload was even faster. Moved all the way across town with all of my stuff, start to finish, in 2.5 hours. Great price, funny and hard working crew, and perfect quality. Nothing missing, everything placed right where i needed it, and the guys even helped move furniture downstairs for a donation pickup I scheduled for later. Couldn't ask for a better move. Also, I loved that before the move, they emailed a very candid explanation of insurance, that they insured based on weight, and that I should contact my homeowner's insurance or take out a one time policy if I wanted to. The two times I have used them, they have always been early or right on time, the movers were always professional and especially thorough to make sure everything was loaded and moved. The second time using them I also had them pack my kitchen and they took extreme care for all of my items, not just the fragile ones which was well beyond my expectations. Their two men and a truck showed up on time and got to work immediately. They completely filled a 24' truck in four hours. They drove straight to our storage facility without even stopping for lunch! After arriving at our storage unit they skilfully packed the entire load into a 10' x 10' space. When it came time to pay the bill, we were pleased to find that we actually owed less than what was originally quoted. This is by far the best move we have ever had. I highly recommend Camelback Moving. Rarely do I give a 5-star rating but our moving experience deserves top-of-the-line marks. We used Camelback Moving for both packing and moving. We moved from Ahwatukee to Scottsdale two weeks ago from a house we had lived in for 25 years. In other words we had lots of stuff! Three packers showed up on day 1 and worked hard for about 8 hours. Since local movers, including Camelback, charge by the hour, one doesn't want to pay for guys going outside to have a smoke or take a break. They didn't take a break! By the end of the day, all of our "treasures" were in boxes. Day 2, we had six men and two trucks arrive at our home. They loaded all of the contents of our house drove to Scottsdale and unloaded the boxes into rooms as directed by us. We bought lunch for the guys and they stopped the meter. In other words, they did not charge us while they took time to eat. To date I have not found a single item that was damaged or broken in the move. To summarize, Camelback delivered exactly the number of people promised, they showed up when promised and they worked hard. If I'm every crazy enough to move again I will call these folks! read more

I have never used movers before, so I don't have a lot of comparisons...however, I do read reviews and always seem to be "attracted" to the bad ones. I like to know "how bad it can get". Well, Camelback sent me two amazing guys. They were efficient, patient and thorough. And both had a really good memory on where stuff was to be placed. Not once did they seem irritated with my 1.5 year old son being fascinated with what they were doing (he started using a push suitcase as a dolly and moving it around like them) and they were patient with my dogs. They wrapped up all of our items in a saran wrap - which some people complained about...?? I am happy they did. I didn't have a knick, scratch or ding on a single item. They let us know exactly how payment would go right up front. No surprises at all. And I think they were very well priced. I don't write as many reviews as I should, especially considering how often I use Yelp for recommendations. I know its something I need to work on, so I might as well start here. I chose Camelback Moving specifically because of the reviews on Yelp. The day I started calling movers was the day that another moving company posted a Groupon. After making a few calls, I decided that the Groupon really just made the move about the same price with that other company as it would have been with Camelback. On moving day Alex called me when I was told he'd call me, in order to confirm that they were loading the truck and they'd be at my place in 45 minutes. I've moved more than my fair share of times, and the guys that Alex showed up with were the most courteous, respectful people I've ever come across in the moving business. John and Les were great. Not only were they extremely efficient, they were incredibly careful with my furniture. We got the house packed in less time than I had anticipated, so we headed to the new place. Once there, they worked even harder to get my stuff into my new home. I'm not planning on moving again anytime soon, but if I do I can guarantee I'd use Camelback again. read more
