I had never hired movers before, but boy am I glad I picked these guys. They were friendly, fast, and gentle with my stuff. I used Camelback for a local move and was really happy with how everything turned out. My only regret is that, having experience with moving companies, I did way too much work on my own beforehand getting things ready and more packed up, when the crew that serviced us would have done it 100 times faster and it wouldn't have cost me all that much more. They don't nickel and dime you once they show up to the move, so I was cool that they were a bit more expensive, but it was worth it just knowing in full what the whole thing would cost. They provided all the materials they promised they would, and the guys worked fast and were very professional. What more do you want? High recommend for local moves. read more

Camelback Moving recently helped my wife and I with our recent move. The movers showed up during the window of time I selected. The movers did a great job and were very nice. There was a stubborn desk that couldn't be moved from a room. One of the movers helped me break down the desk to load on the truck. Upon delivery, he helped put the desk back together. A very nice touch. The cost of the moving services was very reasonable. The communication process from start to end was very professional. I've had other experiences that pale in comparison to the customer service I received with Camelback. When I move again (hopefully not for awhile), I will be contacting Camelback again to assist in my move! read more

I called Camelback Moving after reading all the reviews here, and I'm glad I did. The prices were quite reasonable ($65/hour). What I liked best was that there were no "hidden charges" for anything, e.g., long walks, staircases, and so on. You just pay a fixed rate for two people working very hard. I had to join Yelp just to write a review for Camelback Moving Inc. Yes, they are that good! I read reviews first at yelp and decided to go with Camelback Moving Inc. based on the reviews and also a suggestion from my mother who knows the owner and said he is a great guy. The movers arrived right on time, and got to work quickly. They were awesome. They wrapped our antiques with extra care and got everything packed up safely and quickly. One of the movers even grabbed his tools to fix a wobbly leg on my jewelry stand. I couldn't believe it. When we arrived at the new house, they put everything together and even got our sleigh bed more secure than my husband had in our old place. They moved some akward heavy pieces and treated everything as if it was priceless...from my favorite rocking chair in our toddler's room to our 50" flat screen tv. Their motto is something like: Preserving Sanity One Move at a Time It is true! I came in to work today and everyone commented on how refreshed I look after such a stressful move. Better late than never - I chose this company based on other Yelp reviews that I'd read for my move in June, 2011. I was moving from Ahwatukee to Downtown Phoenix, and besides having a few antique pieces, I also have a really old piano. The people at Camelback were professional, knowledgeable and answered every question. They came out to assess my furniture, took measurements and scheduled my move exactly as I requested it. On the day of the move, they showed up promptly, worked VERY fast, were clean and very careful with my stuff. Everything was wrapped, everything was taken care of as if it was their own. Once we got to my new place, they unpacked and CLEANED as fast as they'd packed! The movers were really nice and easy to get along with as well. Not only was the quote and scheduling process super easy and straight forward compared to other places I called but the entire service was beyond expectations. Juan B. and Damon showed up a little early but they called me several times to communicate where they were at with their earlier appointment and even once they arrived we were still scrambling to put the last few boxes together but they got straight to work. After reading many of the reviews on Yelp and other sites, I was concerned about which company I should hire to move our household goods. I had heard/read good things about Camelback Movers so I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Chad, the owner. He clearly explained all the associated costs involved with a move, emailed me the contract, information on insurance and their COVID-19 sheet. Chad explained how they did business and guaranteed that his crew would take great care in moving our items as well as with both houses they would be working in. I received a call the day before to confirm the appointment and the foreman called the day of the move to let us know they would be there after stopping for lunch. The crew arrived within the appointment window and after looking at everything we wanted moved, got to work right away. Chad had estimated 3-4 hours from start to finish and the crew worked hard to stay within that time frame. Of course loading took a little longer since they had to figure out how to pack the truck so it would all fit, unloading took much less time. The guys placed our items in the rooms we wanted them in and helped us set up our adjustable bed. There was zero damage to our items and at both houses. I was impressed with their professionalism and things like shrink wrapping our sofas and recliner, using a padding fixture that clamped on the entry way door frame to protect it and the furniture and rolling out a runner at the new house to protect the vinyl floors from the rolling carts. We received a follow up call from Larry a couple days after the move to get our feedback and make sure everything was to our liking.
