They have completely lost sight of how to deal with the public and only know their "corporate rules" and how to shove them down your throat. The previous management actually smiled, were courteous, and always helpful...we have been with Storage Solutions for over 10 years and the woman behind the desk never took that into consideration when throwing the new "corporate rules" at us. We are now looking for a new storage unit location...I recommend you do the same.

After a relationship ended, I had an ex who had previously been authorized to access my storage unit. When that situation changed and I no longer wanted him to have access, the staff took my concerns seriously and helped make sure my unit and belongingS a a were protected. I felt listened to, respected, and safe rather than being made to feel like I was causing a problem. Over five years, I've consistently had positive experiences here. I was shocked to hear how reasonably priced it was. I also love the setup and layout of the storage facility and units, compared to the other layouts of other storage businesses. I love that I can drive right up to my storage unit and take all of my stuff directly inside, as opposed to hauling a cart back and fourth. A single key code of your choosing allows both property entry and cellar entry. Access to the property and cellar is available from 8 AM to 10 PM daily. The LED lighting in the locker area turns on and off automatically and can also be manually switched on or off. Lockers are available in two sizes: 3' x 3' and 4' x 3'. Each locker is approximately 3'7" high. You can buy a lock there or bring your own. As I have moved around the country, I have encountered several wine storage cellars over the years. This one is by far the best in terms of climate controls and ease of access. It's worth checking out.

Always check both online and in-person, the office staff might have a special going that isn't listed. It's not permanent, but it's a sweet little temporary perk. My experience started with a phone call, shout-out to Colton (or Caleb? either way, Customer Service MVP), who explained everything like I was booking a penthouse instead of a storage unit. When I showed up a few days early, there was a tiny hiccup (we'll blame Mercury), but by the end, I was a part of the Tempe Choice family. Access hours are great (6 a.m.-10 p.m.), it's secure, clean, and easy to pull up, unload, and move on with your day. So yeah... I'm happy, my stuff's happy, and if they ever add climate control, this'll be an easy five stars. Bonus points for saving me a few bucks in the process.

I have stored with UHaul, Extra Space (dear god no!), and other small names (usually go with these..) and just like I wrote.. these "smaller" or lesser known/non-corporate big dawgs are usually the way to go! Extra space auctioned off illegally some sentimental items that I should sue for. Uhaul turned into a whole ordeal that was ridiculous. But this Tri-city Storage for my move across the country that I could not fit everything in my car for at last minute has been SO PLEASANT! They were amazingly nice for needing a unit last minute, then my stuff didn't fit (what a shock), so I needed another one. You'd think they would price gauge me like the other guys.. nope! Got a second one in no time, moved in late, was out late, it was THE ONE NIGHT it poured rain in Phoenix ugh! I got to utilize their complimentary moving truck WHAT A GODSEND! The employee(s) are so friendly and easy going. They have text reminders for payments. They aren't nazis about making payments if you forget. Uhaul charges hundreds of dollars plus interest if you are a Minute late. Seriously. Not here. You need to pay your bills, but they won't knock your door down if you are human. Which we all are! And being all the shit hit the fan on my 2,500 mile drive across country the last thing I needed to worry about was my stupid storage units with some of my most valuable things in them! I got rid of everything but my most valuable items so in my units are some seriously worthless but priceless to me items.. if anything happened to them I'd be devastated. While driving across country a semi dumped all its cargo right in front of me and cracked all my wheels while I had no choice but to run over it all. While this was happening did I want to hear about late storage bills or water damage or a break in?? No! Thank you tri city for being a fantastic storage facility and taking care of my stuff and having your shit together while I didn't! I'll be back soon to somehow haul all my crap across the country too - in the mean time I'm glad I can trust your facility to take care of my things and not be a**holes in the meantime My facility is on McKellips but I'm pretty sure they have quite a few in the valley, have been around for a while and actually belong to a large owner business but you'd never know because they act and operate like mom and pop owners. Just last week Rich called to see if my husband lost a set of keys because he found some on the lot. They were in the same row as our unit and he hadn't seen anyone else in that same area. They weren't ours but so kind of him! I recommend this storage facility to anyone who is looking for a friendly and clean experience!!!! Not to mention I've never felt like our belongings were at any risk!
