I had to put everything from my house in storage. When the house I bought was ready to move into family and friends offered to help with the move. The logistics were loading from storage in Tonto Basin, AZ and delivering to Cottonwood, AZ. As I was trying to work out costs and line up the help I realized this is really going to be crazy. I figured the cost of renting a U-Haul, gas, and food and drink for my helpers. I decided to check out moving companies. Camelback Moving gave me a very reasonable quote. Added to the fact that they would pick up, pack, and deliver, I decided to go with them. Three of the nicest guys showed up at the storage unit and got right to work, drove to Cottonwood and unloaded everything right where I wanted it placed. I also had two recommendations from people who had used them before & said that they were very happy with their services. I moved yesterday & the difficulty of moving was minimized greatly because of the professionalism of this moving team. They sent 5 guys, all who were so courteous & conscientious, and 2 trucks. Not one piece of furniture was scratched or broken. This was an all day event but if I ever had to move again, I will look no further than Camelback! Their two men and a truck showed up on time and got to work immediately. They completely filled a 24' truck in four hours. They drove straight to our storage facility without even stopping for lunch! After arriving at our storage unit they skilfully packed the entire load into a 10' x 10' space. When it came time to pay the bill, we were pleased to find that we actually owed less than what was originally quoted. This is by far the best move we have ever had. I actually heard about them from viewing reviews for a different moving company (that did not have good reviews) and someone recommended them in their comment. It was super easy to schedule my move. They were extremely communicative and responsive. They said they would confirm 2 days prior to the move and THEY DID. The movers called me about a half hour before they were scheduled and said they would be there by 7:30 am and they were there at that time on the dot. I have never used movers before, so I don't have a lot of comparisons...however, I do read reviews and always seem to be "attracted" to the bad ones. I like to know "how bad it can get". Well, Camelback sent me two amazing guys. They were efficient, patient and thorough. And both had a really good memory on where stuff was to be placed. Not once did they seem irritated with my 1.5 year old son being fascinated with what they were doing (he started using a push suitcase as a dolly and moving it around like them) and they were patient with my dogs. They wrapped up all of our items in a saran wrap - which some people complained about...?? I am happy they did. I didn't have a knick, scratch or ding on a single item. They let us know exactly how payment would go right up front. No surprises at all. And I think they were very well priced. I recently used camelback moving for my move. The reservation process was easy and efficient. I chose a discounted day (Thursday) for a slightly cheaper price. I was told I would be contacted 48 hours before the move, and then shortly prior to confirm the exact time. Everything literally happened as they told me it would which took away a lot of stress on my side. I had 2 movers - Gilbert and Toney. They were amazing! I don't know how the 2 of them were able to move all my things or as quickly as they did. Also NOTHING WAS DAMAGED! I was fully expecting a dent here and there or maybe even worse and literally nothing was dented. They wrapped all my furniture, mattresses, protected the walls, took down and reassembled. It was probably the easiest and least stressful move i have had. I really appreciate you guys helping me with my move! And I really appreciate all of my furniture being so nicely taken care of! What a great moving company! I was in the market for a interstate move to California, and contacted several companies through Yelp. Some of them never replied. Anthony called me back right away. It's not a surprise they are a 5 star company, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience. The price was incredibly more competitive than the competition, and all the staff I interacted with was always available, affable, and professional. Not a single item damaged on an interstate move (I had broken tables on a same apartment complex move before). A few days after the move was completed, I got a regular call from Chad to certify everything had gone well with my move and of I had any problems/concerns. Needless to say, I had none. I chose Camelback Moving specifically because of the reviews on Yelp. The day I started calling movers was the day that another moving company posted a Groupon. After making a few calls, I decided that the Groupon really just made the move about the same price with that other company as it would have been with Camelback. On moving day Alex called me when I was told he'd call me, in order to confirm that they were loading the truck and they'd be at my place in 45 minutes. I've moved more than my fair share of times, and the guys that Alex showed up with were the most courteous, respectful people I've ever come across in the moving business. John and Les were great. Not only were they extremely efficient, they were incredibly careful with my furniture. We got the house packed in less time than I had anticipated, so we headed to the new place. Once there, they worked even harder to get my stuff into my new home. I'm not planning on moving again anytime soon, but if I do I can guarantee I'd use Camelback again. read more

Frank O and his crew were energetic, careful (except when one tripped on the stairs), and had great attitudes. They actually seemed to have fun moving our stuff! We've used Camelback Moving twice in the past year. They can do e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. The moved my parents dining room set to our house with great care. This week, they relocated a ginormous custom cabinet (12'x12') from our family room to living room, which required several men. But they do this many times a month so it was nothing out of the ordinary for them. They pad things properly and even mitered the corners of the cornice to make it look built-in. We're still amazed. We highly recommend them. On a side note, I've moved cross country several times with large moving companies, and locally with local firms. I could not have been happier with my experience with Camelback Moving company, and the two movers they sent me, Val and Wayne! It was my first time using movers, because I was moving from a two story house to a tri-level condo, and I am so glad I found this company. I had booked three other moving companies and decided to use yelp to figure out which was best, and I happened to come across all the stellar (and now I know, correct!!) reviews about Camelback Moving. I cancelled my other three companies and called up Camelback and booked them. Val and Wayne arrived on time the morning of moving day with great attitudes. It was going to be about 104+ degrees that day, and because of the little rain the night before, high humidity. I would not have had the same attitude if I had to move everything. They took a quick tour of the house, figured out a plan of action, and got to work. I had several big items of furniture, plus many, many, many boxes and tubs. They moved quickly and carefully all morning, and were extremely pleasant to deal with. When we got to the condo, they quickly figured out the best way to get everything upstairs. Being a tri-level condo, and the first floor is only a garage, they had to carry everything up a very narrow flight of stairs, plus more if it was going to the third floor. It was amazing, and to be honest I don't know how they did it with a smile on their face! Val and Wayne successfully got all my things moved, without breaking or ruining anything. They were extremely professional, and I just really appreciated all their hard work and especially their friendly demeanor, especially considering that it was so hot, there was so much stuff, and they had to carry it upstairs. Everyone I dealt with on the phone prior to the move was also wonderful. The company's pricing is extremely reasonable, and WORTH EVERY PENNY. I just moved this past weekend and needed to book two movers for my small apartment. My fiance spoke to the person who organized everything, and he really liked how thorough and nice they were. Robert and Roberto showed up on a drizzly, gloomy Saturday morning and took care of our stuff and us. They were totally professional and were pros at getting a heavy 60" rear-projection TV and irreplaceable pieces of art down the stairs in one piece. They wrapped all our art in moving blankets and wrapped our couch and other pieces of furniture in plastic to protect them from scuffs and such while transport. It was raining a bit a little bit after we arrived at our new place, and they took even greater care getting everything off the truck and set up how we wanted. They took a liitle over 3 hours to get everything in, and they weren't dawdling or anything. It's probably the most efficient move I've ever seen. These guys are amazing. I can't imagine moving further across town, or worse, to another state, without this company. Money well spent! read more
