My mother is an artist, her entire studio needed to be moved into storage. I told Mack, Mike and Justin how important it was that her work go into storage in perfect condition. There are pieces that Ma did when she was 16 and now she's 85. Irreplaceable things. The care they took with each piece almost made me cry. Even when they didn't know I was watching, they were scrupulous with everything. This is her life's work, her paintings, drawings, etchings.....and they understood. They were even respectful of the easel! LOL. In today's world you don't encounter that level of conscientiousness. I told Mack how much I appreciated his care with her work and he took it in stride, but I want to say it on Yelp, to the world. THIS is the moving company to use if you're (a) nervous about a move, (b) have items which are insanely important to you, and (c) did I mention the move was less than what was estimated, and $500 cheaper than the other moving company I got an estimate from? So long as I live in Arizona this is the only moving company I'll use. They're the best. read more

These guys were great. I was able to set up our move within a few days notice. The guys called before as promised, arrived in time, were very courteous and professional. They took extra care of fragile items and asked questions for anything they were uncertain of. They laid down a floor protecting rug at our new home, assembled some furniture pieces, and even hooked up our washer and dryer. They were very careful not to hit walls or damage anything and even put a foam protector on the front door frame just in case. The whole move went really smoothly and my husband and I are so impressed with how easy it was. I absolutely recommend these guys. read more

Voted best movers in the valley multiple times? I don't see how there is any competition AT ALL!!! My move was set up for Friday afternoon 1-4 window. I received a call from Andrew at noon (call window was 12-12:30) letting me know they were still at their first job. Very great communication which helped me finish up last minute items in less of a panicked state. They found my apartment by 3:45, which I was shocked enough as is since I couldn't even get pizzas delivered! And began loading the truck! They were all very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Camelback moving really does employ the best! They were finished loading the truck within an hour- not even! And we were off to my new home! Even in rush hour traffic on a Friday afternoon before a holiday they made it to my new home minutes after me and began unloading everything always as friendly as could be. I was so happy to have had this crew because they truly made the experience less stressful and had nice conversations along the way. I could not believe how quickly the whole process took! 2.25 hours including transportation which was predicted to be at least 45 mins. They are amazing and I don't think it would have gone as smoothly without this awesome crew and this great company! Easy to work with and very accomidating to our needs. We had almost 3 weeks of remodeling in our home we moved in to. I didn't want all of our belongings to be unloaded in a warehouse. Heard so many stories where it really goes bad for people when this happens. Camelback said no problem and left it on the same trailer they loaded and delivered when we wanted. These guys are great and will take away the stress of a big move to another state. I cannot say enough positive things how they made our lives so much better for two days of our lives. I had a crew of three move my stuff from across town. The estimate was fair and well-explained. The three men were friendly and worked hard to get the job done. They even took apart and reassembled a desk in order to get it through a doorway. The final price was in line with the estimate and there were no surprises. One thing I liked was Camelback offered discounted days, which I took advantage of. As for the boxes, nothing was lost or broken. I'd definitely use them again. read more

I used Camelback Moving two weeks ago and they were great. They were also more reasonable priced than the 5 other companies I received estimates from. One of the top rated moving companies in the area on Yelp as well as many other sites. They don't hide any info and you can see the contract up front before agreeing to anything. No hidden fees. I liked how they explained how moving insurance works, and gave me options to purchase secondary insurance if I needed it. Dan Malmgren was very helpful in setting up the move and asking the right questions to make sure I received the best service. I ended up getting a 4 man crew with two trucks. Days before the move I was called to confirm everything and letting me know the crew would arrive at 8AM Sat. The day of the move the crew called me around 7AM saying they were on their way. They arrived before 8AM. I signed the paperwork and the guys got started. They did a great job wrapping all the furniture and working quickly. All in All one of the best moving experiences I have had and I've used at least 5 different ones in my life. I've forgotten the names of the crew but I would definitely recommend them. Moving companies get a bad rap and deservedly so. However, this is the third time I've used Camelback for a move and each time has been a breeze. First, they show up when they say. Second, their policies and pricing are clearly given so there are no surprises or "we left your $10K piano on the truck until you pay us." Third, the guys are hard-working and are very helpful. They ask where you want stuff, and will even put together that stuff you don't want to put together. There's that old saying "you have a friend in the business" and I feel Camelback fits that description. Fantastic! These guys came highly recommended and lived up to their reputation! We had a very difficult task of moving an office filled with heavy boxes of books--many down in a moldy basement. Not only did they have a great attitude and work steadily to get the job done but they took such great care of our furniture and delicate items. We loved how they wrapped everything up for protection! Eddie, the installer, did a perfect job of disassembling and reassembling everything, including the dismantling of a monument sign. Todd was so accommodating and friendly. Scott went above and beyond when he noticed I needed quick repairs on two desks that had backboards falling off and a detached gutter I made worse while trying to fix it myself on the old building. He didn't have to step in at all, but he cheerfully offered to help and had them fixed up within minutes. Honestly, I was shocked to have a mover so kindly offer to go out of his way to help me with something that was not technically part of the move. He just knew he could easily help me with my struggles and I am immensely grateful for his assistance. Terrific young man! The guys were funny, too, making the job a lot more fun. When the move went longer than expected due to miscommunication on how many boxes of books would still be in the building at the time of the move, Camelback sent two extra men at no charge to help unload at the new building. First off, I chose this company because of the professional and respectful way the owner handles reviews on this platforms. The way some other companies talk to their customers is a shame and they should be seriously embarrassed and schooled on some customer service... But I digress... Camelback had the best prices without haggling and without trying to nickel and dime me over every stupid detail. They had great communication from the first girl I spoke to who promptly sent me all prices in writing to the team lead Solomon who called to update me on arrival times frequently to the gentleman who called a week or so later to check on my experience. It was impressive actually. The guys who showed up to do the move were polite and professional and obviously respectful of our time and property and everything arrived safely and was unpacked promptly. We got bids from 7 companies and we are very happy with our choice. Fair price. The movers were careful with our items and LISTENED to us when we said something was fragile or we had a concern. They brought and used 6 rolls of shrink wrap with probably 200' of their webbing. The guy who packed the truck (James) was a Master Loader but we called him Tetris Grand Master because he didn't spare an inch of space in our truck. The four-man crew worked HARD for 8 hours and was still smiling and joking with us when we said goodbye. Fantastic! read more

Well, glad their guys came out to replace, paint and reinstall it, it took them 4 hours, 2 men to do. I'm Very happy. We hire camelback to move us from flagstaff to their storage until ours new house is built. The crew headed up by Jason arrived within 5 minutes of time quoted. They literally wrapped everything in Moving blankets including tv folding trays. They inventoried everything and Jason made us feel like family and tried to make move as painless as possible. Later that day Jason called to tell us the cost and that all of her possessions were inside wooden vaults til we are ready. Their monthly storage is far less than I could rent a storage unit and more importantly it's being stored in mild climate of Phoenix rather than flagstaff which has harsh winter. I have only used moving help through uhaul in the past- don't ever do it, terrible experiences. I was amazed by how thorough and professional Daniel and Jacob were; from the first phone call to the last moving box. They arrived 30 minutes early, which is absolutely amazing when you are moving! They also showed me that my couch had legs trapped inside of it(delivery guys never attached them) and then THEY ATTACHED THEM FOR ME!!! Seriously?! 5 star service! Faced with my second out of state move in 2 years, I knew I had to find the best movers in the Phoenix area. I did. From my initial call, to post-move follow up calls from management, they saved my sanity like they said they would. We've moved more often than I want to think about and I've NEVER had a mover I'd recommend until now. They went above and beyond to calm my COVID-19 fears, provided nice, courteous, professional workers on both sides with a driver/crew lead beyond compare in Chris Z. Steve, Anthony, and Tina answered every concern and the Operations Manager Chris Sherman followed up several times to make sure we were happy. How often does that happen these days?!? Before this starts sounding like a paid review I'll admit there were a couple of glitches; one caused by me, the other an honest and easily understandable mistake. If you're looking for a moving company to take the stress out of an out of state move, you've found them. Seriously. They do what they say and then do a little more.
