They really cared for our belongings and made sure no lessen any damage by doing things like wrapping all our furniture and putting cloth down on our banisters. Moved 1 bedroom/1 bathroom/1 living room/1 kitchen all within 2 hours and a 26 mile move! Granted I had stacked boxes in rows and shrink-wrapped all of my large furniture/items so it sped up the process, but man, these guys worked their asses off! My team of three on Friday 7/27 @ 8:45AM were incredible! They were polite, efficient, and productive. Along with some of my friends, we were able to load up the truck from the second floor of a 2-floor building, drive 26 miles to my new apt., unload the truck and move it up to the third floor of a 3-floor building all in 2 hours flat! I used Camelback Moving back in August. I initially called and spoke to a guy named Dan, who was really professional and gave me a quote over the phone, as well sent me a follow up email with the quote. He addressed a lot of my concerns, but I was still not quite ready to commit to their services as I wanted to make sure we were getting the best price. So, I got 2-3 more quotes, and after reading reviews and getting higher quotes from other companies, I went with Camelback Moving and I am really glad I did. They sent four guys over and two trucks (we requested an extra truck to make it go faster) and they busted their butts. It was a zillion degrees in Phoenix in August and these guys just powered through it. They were very kind, polite, and respectful of our stuff. Nothing got damaged or ruined in the move which was really relieving. They also helped relocate some heavy furniture that was already in the house to another room. Then after the move, a guy named Ricardo followed up to see how we felt about the experience. Very professional. I forgot to call him back, but I hope this review makes up for it. Chance was handling my move and he did a fantastic job. Very friendly and went as fast as he could given we had to use an elevator and I am on the fourth floor. I had one minor scratch on my entertainment center through the entire move, and he instantly told me to make a claim when he noticed it. I appreciated his integrity. This company was a little less then anywhere else that I called and they were very upfront about the time and cost right away, which again, I appreciated the honesty. I may be the worst customer a moving company can deal with. And they dealt with me so well I can't help but give them five stars. With all the rave reviews I received from friends and yelp, I couldn't help but choose Camelback to help with my move. I didn't want to have to force my friends to help move my big items. I received a fair quote for moving the large items only. I soon realized though, that it was unrealistic for me to move all the boxes myself. However, I failed to inform them of this. When the movers arrived, they found lots of fun stuff to move. Did they complain? No. Did they yell at me? No. Did they tell me they needed more people? No. Did they tell me I had to reschedule? No. Nothing broke or was destroyed or lost, which has happened in nearly every other move I've ever had done. They came, moved what was there and did one hell of a job. It took longer, and I paid more, but it was very reasonable for the trick move I played on them. It's time for me to break out of my lurking shell and actually contribute. I've moved plenty of times before, but never with a piano in tow. Since my piano is fairly valuable, I decided to look for some professional help. Camelback Moving not had the best quote, but also the most professional person answering their phone (plus my realtor had recommended them), and I really liked their honestly pricing. One moving day, the truck actually arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Once the clock started ticking it was go go go. The two guys didn't take a break or anything. They were fast but still careful not to damage my things or the walls. I was originally quoted 2 hrs. Everything was done in 2 hrs 15 min. The extra 15 min was because I added two items onto the list on moving day. The only time I had some misgivings was when they were loading the piano onto the truck. The ramp was wobbling and the guy pushing had trouble gripping with his shoes. Thankfully nothing happened and my piano arrived safe and sound. Use these guys if you need to move! read more

I booked this company based on the reviews here on Yelp. Initially I was referred to another company that a friend had used. I called them and they were unable to accommodate my schedule or even offer anything close to it. I searched here and found the wonderful reviews posted. I called and spoke to Pam who was awesome. She answered my questions and worked with me to fit my schedule. On top of that - they were more competitively priced than the company I initially called. I also immediately received an email confirming what we discussed. The movers arrived on-time (early actually) and were very efficient. My place was loaded and moved in no time! They were professional and extremely helpful. This was the first time I've ever used a moving service - and now I wonder how I never did before. I just used these guys for my move yesterday, and I can't say enough how happy I am with the service we got. I almost chose 2 Men and a Truck again, as I used that company last time, but the reviews for Camelback Movers were so good I felt safe trying them out and wanted to see what everyone is raving about. Now I know. First off, before my move, customer service took a thorough inventory over the phone. They explained different insurance coverages available and helped me estimate how long the move would take. I was able to pick the time of day that worked best for me and got a special rate thanks to a promotion / an off-peak moving day. Be advised there is a trip fee, which some competitors don't have, but please believe me when I tell you Camelback Movers is worth it. The movers 1. Called about half an hour before arrival and 2. Were on time to the minute. I had a two man crew and they were both friendly, personable, funny and absolute work horses. They provided us with wardrobe boxes we filled while they were taking apart my L-shaped sectional- which, by the way, they "fixed". It's a power recliner at either end of the L and one of them was stuck in the up position for over a year now. Turned out it was faulty wiring in the power source and using a different power source they were able to put down the recliner. Awesome. They wrapped said leather recliner in thick furniture pads and then shrink wrapped it before moving it, the same with our (heavy) wooden kitchen table with lazy Susan, and my bed's leather headboard. One of them (I'm sorry I forgot your names guys) remarked "We're gonna keep it pretty!" None of my furniture was damaged and no boxes were handled roughly. The move ended up taking about what we had estimated at the beginning and I was more than happy with the price. My boyfriend was very pleased as well and thought it was so kind that when they left, one of the men told him "it would be an honor to be pulled over by you". It was nice to have movers that didn't mind we are law enforcement. Lastly, while moving, I somehow managed to get a complete tear in my ACL. It started as a minor work injury and steadily got worse until it just ripped and I buckled. It happened at the new residence and I was fighting off tears as my boyfriend helped me walk to the car to go to the hospital. The movers saw what kind of pain I was in and advised my boyfriend they were going to work as hard and fast as possible so that he could come be with me, and I really really appreciate that. I was in a LOT of pain and I was pretty embarrassed. They finished up in 7 minutes. I'm now laid up in the beautiful new house with a full leg brace, all my furniture is set up beautifully and looks fantastic from the move, all the boxes are where they need to be. I'm really happy with the service we got and if we had the money I would want to re-hire our crew to come UNpack for me while I lay here. Lol! They started moving exactly at 8am as promised. - The two guys were professional, friendly and polite. He even called me by name when he had a question. - They wrapped all furniture so as not to damage anything. - They took care in the move. With all of the horror stories out there, I had every right to be scared of what tricks a moving company would pull, last minute, in order to make me give them more money. Well, I'm happy to report that Camelback Moving was the most transparent move I've ever done. Their process was clear, the pricing was fare and completely inclusive and their people were awesome. We had 3 guys and one truck and then when it became obvious that we were going to need more help, I made a phone call to Camelback and we had another truck and more people with no hassle, haggle or arguing. It was just done, they made it right. The guys we had were all super up-beat, worked as a team and were very careful with our stuff. Wow, what can I say about this experience? It's the first time Yelp has let me down so hard. Company was super responsive from the initial call, 4 stars. The day of the move, boxes were packed a bit haphazardly, the truck broke down on the way out to LA, boxes had to be transferred to another truck - 5 hours late on delivery. The aftermath: three shattered mirror doors, one busted table top, two broken floor lamps, a sleigh bed with a demolished leg. Fortunately, it was all replaceable. The company sells additional insurance coverage and I would recommend that you purchase it if moving anything of high value. Revised review as of 8/1/13: What was a 1 star review is now balanced out with 5 star recovery. The company took my concerns very seriously and responded quickly to try to make it right. We were so apprehensive, having only terrible past experiences with moving companies.... and as soon as our movers showed up, we were SO relieved! Not only were they right on time, but they were SO friendly and professional! They moved very quickly, but at the same time, they didn't seem rushed, and they were very careful with all our things. If you want professional and quick, these guys are great! They moved our stuff in about 4 hours. (We didn't have many things!) :) However, I give them 3 stars because the staff were professional, yes, but didn't seem very friendly. The last moving company I hired, the staff were very friendly and talkative! It's nice to have people who are very personable when they are handling all of your personal stuff! Also, one of the movers broke a glass vase of ours, with a very robotic apology to make up for it. Grant it, the vase was not highly valuable, but what if it was? Would I get the same "meh" apology? I just felt like that was kind of lame. You break something of someone's and then just shrug your shoulders about it, as if I should have expected that to happen! Anyway, besides that, it was a good move. They are a very professional and quick company, I will not argue that. But I feel as though they could have done better in their customer service. read more

I am not an experienced Mover. Because of that, I highly recommend Camelback Moving. Instead of taking advantage of me, they took care of me. The intake call was extremely thorough in understanding my needs, the types of furnishings needing to be moved, time-frame, and distance of the move. Camelback sent in people to pack, load, deliver, and unload all of my furnishings. I didn't expect the move to be absolute perfection, but this was a pretty close. Most importantly, the people doing the packing, loading and unloading were pleasant, conscientious, and respectful. They did not hire a bunch of rummys off the street. In unpacking my belongings, I am seeing exactly how careful the packing crew was in protecting my belongings. No breakage or insurance claims from me. After all, isn't that the point. Found Camelback Moving through a Yelp newsletter. They were very friendly, fast and effiecient. I had to move my actual move date at least three times, and they were accomodating every time. The movers showed up on time, wrapped all of our furniture, let us use some of their wardrobe boxes for misc items, and moved quickly through the entire process. Unpacking was a bit slower, but that's a given for two guys and a house full of heavy furniture. The pricing was fair and we appreciated the care they took with our belongings. I even threw the guys a couple of extra bucks to stop by the dump and throw away some unwanted items for us on their way out. Saved us extra time and hassle - I appreciated that soooo much! I have never been so relieved to have a pack of these guys by my side when I'm moving (or rather, watching others do my moving heh). I have used this company twice now and both times I was moved in less than half the time I expected! Not only did they arrive at the time requested on the DOT, they worked incredibly fast and were done with my small apartment move in 2 hours! Nothing broken or lost either. Camelback Moving helped me with a move from Phoenix to Santa Monica, CA. They were professional and friendly and thorough. THey called to let me know that I needed to get temporary "No Parking" signs so the moving van could park on the day of the move (since I live in a permit parking area with street parking only), which I didn't know. This enabled me to go to CA a day early and secure the signs so the van had no problems parking. They also rescheduled me a couple of times throughout 2014, because I wasn't really sure when I was moving. They arrived early at my house to pick up my furniture, so that I could drive to CA and arrive in the daylight, so I could see to unload my car (moved into an apartment), and they were on time to move my furniture into my apartment. Thanks to Yelp and the wonderful reviews I read, I booked Camelback Moving for my first move in seven years. Lisa was wonderful over the phone, answered all my questions, and have me all the information I needed when I called to make the reservation about a month in advance. As luck would have it, I hit a major speedbump just twelve hours from my scheduled move and called the company in tears late one evening to find out what I could do given my current situation. I believe I spoke with Chad, who listened patiently and did a great job of assuring me they would work with me to get everything taken care of. When I resolved everything the next day and called back to confirm a new date, Lisa recognized my voice right away and was really great. The day of the move, I got a call from one of the guys asking if they could start early, as their other job finished ahead of scheduled. We agreed on a time, and true to their word, they arrived when they said they would. When they arrived, one of the guys went over some paperwork with me and asked him to walk them through my place showing them what would be going. After that, they got started. I was absolutely impressed by the speed at which they moved everything out, especially considering they took time to wrap all non-boxed objects with huge rolls of Saran Wrap-like plastic - including my sofas and ottomans! They finished moving everything downstairs and to their truck in under two hours. Had they been able to park closer and not have to deal with the stairs, I'm sure they would have finished sooner. Once at the new place, they got started unloading. If a box wasn't clearly labeled, they asked where it should go. They re-assembled my bed and put the furniture where I asked. Not a single box was misplaced. Nothing was broken. Everything was in the same condition it was in before it left my former residence. Once everything was done, I was given another form to sign along with a comment card. Before they left, the guys even asked if I needed help shifting things around or if I wanted things moved anywhere. Truly great customer service! After reading all of the great reviews on Yelp, I gave Camelback Moving a call. The prices were reasonable, and they were able to fit us in with short notice (I called on a Thursday for a Saturday move). They explained all of the fees, so there were no hidden surprises, and we knew exactly what we were paying for. We recieved a call from Brad, Carlos and George to advise that they were on their way, and their ETA. They arrived on time, and started working. They packed up a 4 bedroom home and garage in no time. They loaded us up, and unloaded everything FAST. They were very careful in the handling of our furniture/electronics, and everything arrived in perfect condition. They were very pleasant to deal with. After this experience, we have decided that we will never move ourselves again. Camelback Moving is the BEST! Update: We just moved out of state, and decided to use Camelback Moving to load up our moving van. They started out very helpful, but once the movers got to the new place and saw stairs, they started 'slowing down' on purpose. My four hour moved turned into a nine hour move. Remember, you're paying by the hour too. All they did was complain the last half of the move... constantly... Then the guy in charge pulled out a personal radio and started listening to some rap crap, and slowed down even more. Just beware... They were polite on the outside but complained and whined just loud enough for us to hear them. read more

I recently moved using this company. They had a special for a reduced rate to move on Sunday which was perfect because Sunday was the best day for us. I had used a different company before and they didn't offer Sunday moving. I found this company by using Yelp. I had such a good experience I wanted to return the favor by adding my own review. I chose three movers and a truck. We had moved all the boxes and small items ourselves and only had large furniture items to move. Lots of glass and nice wood items. I was worried about damage since I had it happen before. I must say I was blown away by how professional, efficient, and careful the movers were with my items. Not only did the move happen in the amount of time I had hoped for, but everything arrived in perfect condition. Our team of guys were great! Their costs were very reasonable and there were no hidden charges or fees. The 2 man crew arrived on time and were honest and fast. When a lid to a plastic tote broke, they let me know and apologized. They worked hard moving my stuff down a long hall and down 2 flights of stairs. Before they left my apt. to move the items to the new house I purchased, they even asked if they could stop for a drink! Moving in to that apartment was one of the worst days of my life. I was so relieved to find Camelback Moving on Yelp after running into a few dead ends with movers that were recommended by friends. I was nervous as this was the first time I had to hire movers, but it turned out to be a great experience. The two movers were fast, efficient, and professional. I felt so bad for them because it was 102 and 80% humidity that day! They were able to move items out of my old house in Mesa to our new place in Gilbert (a 2 story) plus pick up two pieces of furniture at two other houses in less than four hours. I deducted one star because there was a glitch in my paperwork (wrong hourly rate) and also due to the piece of stucco near our front door that was damaged during the move. I would first like to start off by saying accidents happen and I completely understand that. Unfortunately Camelback Moving company did not handle it the best way. The move started off great the men were on time and they moved very quickly. First, they broke my TV stand that was roughly 130.00 that I just bought a few months ago and is still at the store for full price. Then they dropped my only box with breakables that had about 75.00 worth of glass decorations. The men were very sorry and gave me number to call and make a claim. Since I understand accidents happen I still tipped them 30.00 for their two hours of work. Once I put in my claim Anthony was very helpful and got me all the information I needed. Then I never heard from him again! I emailed twice and called twice before I got a response. After he finally emailed me back it was him telling me they will only give me $60.00 as a SETTLEMENT!!!!! Because they base it off of lbs. I called wanting at least $100 they told me NO! They didn't even pay me half of what my TV stand was worth AND I showed them a link of the stand at the store still. I'm sorry but if you make a mistake fix it and fix it fairly. I would have given this place 5 stars if this was handled correctly. So if you want to take the gamble of them breaking your stuff just know they will basically spit in your face when it comes to your settlement. read more

I cannot say enough good things about these movers. My boyfriend and I were headed to my apartment to meet them when we were involved in a minor accident. I called the office and told them what happened, they had the movers waiting on standby for when we could get there and they didn't charge extra. They were friendly, professional, and efficient. I have had movers in the past (other companies) who scratched the crap out of my furniture, but they took the time to wrap everything. Nothing had so much as a dent on it. We had them move things from my old apartment to my new apartment, and also some stuff to storage. Each trip, they were minutes behind me. No breaks, no wondering where they were. Cost wise they were about the same as others but the difference was the follow up from the office. Really recommend this company if you are moving soon! We called a week before our move and they had no problem getting us in! what i really liked is that before you move in they really break down your whole house so you know what you need to pack and what you don't. they gave us a 12-3 window but were at our house at 12:15. the three man who moved us were very professional and great, really showed they knew what they were doing and cared. they have a very large truck which fit our whole house and then some. also, they have wardrobe boxes so we didn't have to pack up all our hung up items. so awesome. they were fair priced, came out to about $600 for everything (3 bedroom house to 4 bedroom house) but very worth it with this company! read more

Eli, Toby and Craig showed up to help. Our time frame was between 11-2 and they showed up at noon. MAN. Those guys worked hard and booked it. We had a truck full, a storage unit stop in addition to our new home, a baby grand piano to disassemble, move, and resemble, and a treadmill they had to disassemble to get into the room I wanted it to go into. All within 5 hours. I was super nervous about them moving my piano, because well, it's my baby. They took time in thoroughly inspecting the piano and took care in moving it.
