This is response to your reply & my review. I showed your reply to my husband and he said that he DID NOT say that there were no issues. He actually told you guys that there were major issues regarding the move. Regarding the baby grand piano, there was never an issue back then when your guys moved it the first time we used your company 3yrs ago. We never had issue back then on our 1st move using your company but this 2nd time around as a repeat customer, we've decide to use you again but we were given only 4 people vs 6 crew during our 1st time using you 3 yrs ago. Regarding your false claim that there were small boxes & bins that those crew claimed that were added was totally WRONG. I know that because they didn't unload any boxes or bins. Because we were the ones personally who did that with the help of our many friends who had pick up trucks. I'm very disappointed with your people's integrity. You have us only 4 crew & most of them are small guys who had a hard time carrying the heavy stuff & we hear a lot of grunts & complaints while doing their job. Your guy who came to do an estimate did a poor job. There were even furnitures that we brought with us with the help of our friends that he included in the quote when he came to see our stuff but were not done by your guys. We were thinking that it would shorten the time that spent move our stuff. Those heavy furnitures & items were the same stuff that were moved by the same company we used 3 years ago. So I don't understand the complaints that you're suggesting that it was heavier that before since it's the same piano & furnitures. We never bought any new furnitures since our move to that Windgate home. Again, your claim that my husband said that the move went well without issues is a total LiE. He told you guys that there were issues with the guys you sent us being small & at the middle of the job had to bring in a couple of big guys to help them finish the job that went almost 12 hours. We can't say enough about how well we were treated by Camelback Moving during our move from Arizona to California. Let me start by saying my wife and I are seniors living in California. We had a second home in Scottsdale we had not been to in over a year given COVID 19 travel restrictions and decided to sell it. We initially spoke to Anthony at Camelback Moving and explained we could not travel to Arizona for the move. Anthony calmed our nerves and put a proposal together that included the white glove packing of everything in the home. Zac was the foreman for the pack and move and we can't say enough about the excellent job he and his crew did. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Zac made sure all the beds were put together and all the boxes and furniture were exactly where we wanted everything. Camelback Moving did a great job moving my belongings from the home I sold to my new apartment. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I have had to move a total of three times since October 2019. I used another company for the first move out of my home and a second company for the move back into my home. Both companies (big name moving companies) were awful and caused damage, the first one caused property damage in the move. Camelback Moving was unlike the other two. Chad was extremely nice and wanted to right any wrongs I had with my move. I wish more businesses operated this way. I really don't like leaving bad reviews. I'll start with the pros: 1. Scheduling was easy and the staff I spoke with were very courteous and helpful. 2. They followed up to confirm my appointment date and time. 3. The movers were on time and very pleasant. Now for the cons: 1. I had two movers, but it honestly felt like one. I hardly saw the second mover at all. 2. I felt like it took them much longer than need be. This place charges by the hour. I basically had a one bedroom apartment to move. There weren't a lot of unpacked odd and ends and all my boxes were right by the door. I had about 4 really heavy items total. All in all, it took them over 4 hours to move a small, pretty well packed apartment. 3. I received a follow up email basically thanking me for my positive feedback when no one ever really called to follow up! I would never hire this company again. The last moving company I hired only took about 3 1/2 hours total and I was moving farther than I did on this move. I also forgot to mention the cracked a shade on my lamp. Luckily I didn't really care for it, so I wasn't too broken up. I really just think they could have moved much faster than they did. We used a 2 man crew to perform our local move. Chad and Leon were all you could ask for in a moving crew. They showed up on time, had all their own supplies, provided all the usual protection material on the floor and doorways, and even though the job was by the hour they really hustled through. We estimated a 3-4 hour move and they got it all done in 2 hours including drive time! Only hiccup we had was when setting up a move date you have to leave a $125 deposit. This is non-refundable no matter what the reason if you need to cancel before the move date. Didn't affect us but I can see how this could be a problem in the case of unexpected circumstances. I can see why this company is highly rated. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. read more

Camelback moving is great. We had 2 movers, Solomon and Jesus. They were very efficient while being careful not to damage any furniture. They were very patient as well. Gilbert and Jacob were careful with our items (wrapped and protected). I was glad that they helped re-arrange some furniture at the destination. The 2 movers were very polite, friendly, professional, and safe...especially in the context of moving in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. They very carefully and thoroughly wrapped every piece of furniture or large item that was moved, and everything safely arrived the same in my new home. The guys worked hard from start to finish and didn't waste any time on the clock, which my wallet appreciated. I only had one day off to move into our house recently. I sought out a moving company. I chose camelback moving partly because of their good reviews and the ability to help me move with only a few days notice. After they showed up and started preparing to move things I could see why they had such good reviews. We had four young gentleman that were very professional and pleasant to be around. They were very through and careful to wrap up everything before moving it to prevent any damage. They provided us with wardrobe boxes Which was also very helpful. When we got into our new house they put everything exactly where we wanted it to go. They were also very patient when we were kind of indecisive about some of the locations we wanted things. Only bad thing that happened was part of a lamp was broken. It was an accident though and not due to negligence. S*%# happens. I'm sure their would have been a lot more damage if I had moved things myself. If anyone is thinking they need help with moving, especially large items in their home, I would highly recommend this company. They were a life saver for me. read more

After a sudden, but decisive break up on a Sunday afternoon, I called Camelback Moving for assistance in moving a heavy oak desk. We were able to move all the other stuff and just needed the desk. Had the moving company move a small amount of items in August. We were not present during the move due to the pandemic. We arrived back Nov 1st and checked the furniture which was being stored in our garage. I was quite disappointed to find that each of the two large furniture items had been damaged. The diningroom table appears to have been dropped on asphalt as it had indentations on the side. Some of the chairs had the finish rubed off . Also, the sofa had been plastic wrapped, but the wrapping had been torn away in spots where the wood had been gouged. They are inconvenient and troublesome. Moving is an unpleasant process, and this moving company makes it much more so. Not professionals and worst customer service ever. We decided on a long-distance move; these guys were expensive (~$8000 from Phoenix to California). We believe that they are costly for a reason which is the quality of their service. They lost several items, including three large boxes, furniture, backpacks, etc. They picked it up from our residence, noted on their inventory form, and left it beside the service elevator. Our items never even reached their truck. So many essential goods were gone. VERY negligent employees. When we phoned our apartment's lost and found, we discovered that 20% of our home had been left behind. We have yet to get our belongings. Since we filed the complaint one week ago, they have informed us that it would take one month to reach us. As most of our kitchen items are left behind, we eat out daily, adding to the expense. The fact that the electronic devices are left behind (yet to be located) is causing so much disruption to my business. We asked for a 65 inch TV box, they brought a 56 inch box and they ended up moving our expensive TV in a blanket. Currently, I am living in a home that is only partially furnished, missing several items, making it work 'somehow.' Spending money buying/renting temporary essential items, and in a constant dilemma to buy new must-haves or wait a month for camelback movers to return our belongings, and in constant anxiety that I will never find my favorite pens and paint brushes. *** Also, I am considering rushing into 'the minimalist route' and giving up hobbies and material desires, like, when your favorite pet leaves you, you don't want another one immediately or ever, I am living in that exact feeling, but with my emotionally bound pens, paint brushes and footwears!
