Today Daniel, Israel, and Juan came out to do part 1 of our move and were absolutely fantastic. These guys were on time, efficient, professional, friendly...and even had a great sense of humor. The sale of my condo preceded the closing of my new home by two weeks. Camelback Moving sent four guys to finish up my packing and move my belongings to their storage facility on 10-21-18. They laid down carpet runners to protect the bamboo floors, then got to work -- without stopping! They were in and out within three hours. This was especially remarkable given that my condo had furnishings and boxes on all three levels. My cleaners arrived the next day to make the condo shine, then I moved into a hotel. On 11-4-18, my belongings were loaded onto a truck (they have a loading dock at their warehouse, making it much easier to use a dolly in and out of the truck). Three of the four guys from the earlier move arrived at my just-built home (with white porcelain floors and freshly painted walls), and brought it all in. I barely had to give instructions. They remembered how to re-assemble my furniture, and even tipped the heavier pieces so I could apply foot pads for future shifting. On both days they exceeded my expectations. They knew what they were doing and worked together as a team. They were professional and kind, each complimenting my new single-level home. I have now unpacked every box and put everything away. Not a thing was damaged. Incredible. Though I intend to stay put for awhile, I strongly recommend the services offered by Camelback Moving. They earned every one of those five stars! read more

We have moved over 10 times in our lives so have experienced many different moving companies. This move was a local move so easier than most and used a service through our realtor's company. Camelback Moving was quick to respond and gave us a much better quote than than the other companies. I do want to add that the young lady that called was very thorough and explained the whole process. On moving day the crew of Zac, Mario, and Tony showed up on time and worked very quickly. Since they are hourly this is important. Not once did they take a break. They even added some felt to the bottom of our dining table that had come off. We had a great experience and here is why...movers were courteous and actually called us early to start the move. Weather was incredibly warm and the two gentlemen were positive, upbeat and professional. This was after they had already completed two jobs. Camelback moving was amazing! From our first initial call to figure out pricing and all that we need for our latest move. When we called they answered all of our questions and emailed us a rundown of all that we talked about. After booking them they called us the day before to confirm and the day of to give us a general time of when they would arrive. When running behind they called and made sure that was good for us, and still showed up within the time frame they gave us. The actual movers were great, super friendly! They did a great job. My move was stressful as it was long distance and I have a toddler at home. Tina made it so smooth by keeping in touch, providing all information ahead of time, and just overall being accommodating with some of our crazy logistics. The team was polite and all of our stuff was secured well. We had one awkward item damaged but that was probably more my fault for not properly explaining the item. If you want transparency and the absolute best in the valley pick up the phone and call Dan. We had 4 10x20 storage units full needing to be moved into our new home. To be honest I had been stressing out for weeks just thinking about picking up the phone and making the call to deal with it. What a mistake. Dan had it quoted and scheduled in short time and all we had to do was show up at the storage units at our selected date. Now to the most important part of the move... The crew. We had 2 27' trucks and 4 movers. The trucks have everything and more than the guys needed to move everything. But what good equipment without the right people to use it or let's say the right person to pick up and carry your belongings? Or most importantly the right person that knows how to load, stack and protect your belongings and get them to their destination in as close to or the same condition as they see when they were loaded. The person responsible for this on our move was Eddie and and is the best of the best at what he does. I also have a safe, Large piano, bbq smoker and some other large outdoor items still to move this coming week and guess who I'm calling and requesting to move these items? That's right, Eddie and his crew! Oh! We had a smaller self move (don't ask why we did it ourselves) yesterday that took WAY longer than anticipated and was causing us not to be able to empty another storage unit we had to be out of by 5pm so desperately I called Dan and within 45 minutes he had a crew on the way and saved our butts. This was a different crew of 2 that my wife delt with but they were also absolutely spot on perfect. I'm serious when I say this.. If you don't use these guys you're doing yourself a disservice for sure. *And to top this all off the rates are very very reasonable* Can you find a cheaper mover on yelp or on Craigslist? I'm sure you can if you look hard enough but a couple of things you can not put a price on is the overall value and the peace of mind that these guys provivde period. I used Camelback Moving for my in-town move a few months ago, and it was the smoothest move I've ever had. The team I had was extremely cautious and gentle with my furniture. I was grateful that I didn't have to deal with disassembly and reassembly of a few cheap Ikea pieces. Use of an elevator was required at the destination, and the team organized themselves very well to optimize the moving of furniture and boxes. The only thing that was a little off-putting was the initial spiel I was given about insurance. I'm sure they deal with angry people when stuff gets accidentally broken, but they seemed very defensive about this topic before I had even booked them, making me feel uncomfortable. As it turned out, I didn't opt for any additional insurance coverage, but if my belongings were more valuable it would have been a no-brainer. read more

Zac, Brenden and David T. worked extremely efficiently to carefully wrap and pack our things. They were professional and respectful of our home. Unfortunately they did mess up one of the door handles on our expensive crate and barrel Bar which is one of our most expensive pieces.. They were however very accommodating as to where to place furniture in the new home and put down matts and padded bumpers to avoid damage. One thing to be careful of is to be sure and fully understand how the payment works. They didn't seem to be fully transparent with us regarding the price when we spoke on the phone to what it actually was. They finished earlier than we expected and Eddie packed our trailer so well that he saved us 6 linear feet of trailer space!
