WOW! I had to take my truck to caliber over 5 years ago and recall how quick and great it was working with them. However, after just purchasing my first "new" car and getting in an accident, I was a wreck. So stressed over how everything was going to work, cost, the process. I was recommended to caliber. And boy was it the right decision. Immediately after parking a gentleman came out, evaluated my car and was calm and explained everything to me. They even drove me to my rental car shop! About every other day I was called and updated, and even if I called back in between they always had someone answer and help me with what I needed. My car was done over two weeks early, and detailed inside and out - its even better than before the accident. Thank you! read more

I had my car repaired at Caliber and it came out awesome. Girasol was incredible. Kept me up to date through out the whole process and really made me feel comfortable. Being in a wreck I didn't think my car would be the same. You can't even tell it ever happened ! I will recommend them to everyone. read more

Horrible, it took 3 months to finish, then after it was "finished" I heard noises going from the rear end, I took my truck to the dealer and the dealer found among other things they forgot to put in several bolts. The truck still does not drive correctly. PS they said they would refund the money but 2 calls and one visit later I am still waiting. Never bring them any work. I wish I could give them zero stars, they are that bad. read more

Isaiah was my service advisor and he did such an amazing job! Led me all the way through the repair process. It was such an amazing experience, although I hope this never happens again, if it does in definitely coming back to this location. Thank you so much for everything! read more

They left a stain on the driver's seat, things disappeared from the glove box, and the repair now allows water to enter the car through the replaced part. FAIL. read more

Caliber Collision centers are kinda like Mc Donalds of the auto body world. Seems to be one in every major area of San Diego. However that can mean a quick turnaround time which is what I was looking for at the time for my repairs. I went in was given a quick and fair estimate of repair I told them to do it, and order the parts cause I need it done fast! They called me the next day and told me my parts are in and being painted already and should be ready for placement the next day! It took a total of only 3 days to order the parts, and just a couple hours to place them on the car that's quick. Body work can be frustrating at times cause you can't get anywhere without a car in Southern California. So the quick turnaround time was greatly appreciated. Plus they are more than willing to help everyone who walks in, without the body shop attitude that you get in some places that are seemly to busy for customers. read more

Girasol Steve and Karina are amazing my truck looks awesome and it was speedy repair.

I needed to use the services of Caliber Collision in Escondido after some unfortunate damage to my car. I got it back ahead of schedule and looking beautiful. Girasol was great at keeping me updated. Thanks to Girasol, Steve and the rest of the team. My car looks amazing! read more

We were overwhelmed with the excellent work and oh, so friendly service of Caliber Collision in Escondido. They actually made us feel as if theywanted us as customers. It was easy to see that this was a team effort and we want to specifically thank Jose (who stayed in contact daily) Randy (who was so understanding and helpful) and Reagen for their tireless work in making what could have been a very trying experience into an almost enjoyable (certainly relatively pleasant) experience. Thank you Caliber Collision! We feel that we can recommend you to anyone. BTW, in case I haven't made it explicit the professional craftmanship was impeccable...we feel almost as if we have a new car! read more

Isaiah took such great care of me and my car from the moment I arrived. He was very professional with explaining what needed to be done. He dealt with the insurance company and even called the car rental company to pick me up and then return the car. And best of all, my car was ready ahead of schedule. I was very pleased with my overall experience with Caliber. The repair job looks great. I highly recommend them. read more

Chose this place with the insurance company from the person that hit me, and I'm glad I did. From the first phone call I got, to the point of receiving my keys back from repair, everything was simple and convenient. The employees here are also very professional and so friendly. I am very happy with the repair and how everything went. My vehicle looks brand new again, I totally recommend Caliber Collision on Mission Ave.! read more

First I have to tell you my car is an accident magnet. It's a 2004 grey Miata and I've been hit about 5 times. Luckily it was in different spots, so basically I have a new car. Each time I've brought my car to Caliber and they have done such a wonderful job fixing my baby. Like I said, my car looks brand new. They recently fixed the back end when I was rear-ended. There was a lot of hidden damage that was not seen until it was taken apart. Seriously, the car looked like it had a slight dent, but once it was taken apart... major damage. They contacted me and my insurance company right away with a revised estimate detailing everything they found. And for the cherry on top, the car was finished 2 days early. read more

Brought my car here for small collision repair last month and everyone was fantastic! Each person I interacted with was very friendly and Ulises was very helpful with my claim. I would highly recommend this business and should I need repairs in the future I will be returning to Caliber Collision! Car was finished in the projected time and they even fixed a weird clicking noise in my door that was unrelated! read more

Jose and Ray, above and beyond the call of duty. Car was stored there 3 weeks as insurance battles progressed. Very patient with me and as soon as repairs could begin, got right on it and all repairs completed within 4 days. Upon finding that insurance wouldn't cover my repairs and i would be paying out of pocket, they cut corners, removed warranties, and trimmed fat to make as affordable for me as possible. Then when i came to pick up, my engine wouldn't start (prior issue) and they called their connections to get me a free diagnostic, then jumped me so i could drive it to a repair. Super busy that day but still making sure im ready to go, happy and satisfied. Very impressed and highly recommend. read more

Uises Salgado (service advisor) and the crew were great. Car looks great, done on time as promised, a few little requested diagnostics done beyond scope of repair. An overall pleasant experience! read more

I don't write reviews much, but everyone I dealt with here was great. We had an issue getting the correct part from Ford because it was a new model. Ulises went above and beyond and I left a very happy customer. Thanks! read more

This could possibly be the happiest I've ever been at a car place. I was driving a company car and backed into something. Part of the bumper (which isn't really even a bumper, just a piece of plastic where the bumper of cars used to be), started to come off. I told my boss, he was a bit ticked off. He wanted it replaced as cheap as possible. Caliber Collision was nearby. I had remembered the place because I rented a house down the street for years, and always drove by it. They were busy, but a nice receptionist quickly got somebody to look at it. This man -- Ulises Salgado -- gave me two options on fixing the problem. One involved replacing the bumper, repainting, and making it look just like new. I went the cheaper option. It was cheaper than I can possibly tell you! And, he politely said, "We're not too busy right now, I can get right in there and fix it." I was out of there 15 minutes later. And for these guys to not try and charge me a lot for labor costs, to me, is amazing. You can't say that about a lot of businesses, ESPECIALLY car places. If anything ever happens to ANY of my vehicles in the future, this is where I am going. I highly recommend it to everyone, and a big 'thank you' to ULISES SALGADO, for being professional and friendly....at a time I was stressing out. I will be back!!!! (although, since it's for body damage, I certainly hope I don't have to be back!) read more

They say and try to please you, but the work is just mediocre at best. promises unfulfilled. Not even close with their estimated times to finish repairs. We were very satisfied with the work done on our vehicle, The customer service was exceptional and even got our car back sooner then expected. Caliber Collision kept us informed on any changes or damages that they encountered. Mike the manager and Mike the master painter went above and beyond for us. Great experience getting my bumper fixed! Thanks Alex for all the help, definitely recommending caliber collision!!

I was so happy with everything! I took my car in for a repair from someone hitting my bumper, recommended by their insurance company. I had 2 scratches on my bumper from my own fault that I asked them to fix at the same time, after they gave me a great deal on the quote. When I pick up my car they waived my charges and fixed the extra scratches beautifully! I couldn't have been more pleased with the communication and professionalism. I highly recommend this shop for any auto body repairs! read more

Had an accident that was a big headache, very frustrating and just overall horrible experience with insurance companies. I've had my share of vehicle damage and for one reason or another, I'm never 100% pleased with a body shop...until now! CCC in Escondido did a phenomenal job. They did high quality repairs to my vehicle and even cleaned up some scratches on the other side of the vehicle that had nothing to do with the work order. And no, I wasn't charged for this! They were fast, done when they said they'd be done, worked directly with the insurance company, organized the rental car for me and were very friendly! Great place. Hopefully I won't have a reason to come back, but if I do this is where I'll go. read more

I had my car repaired at Caliber Collision and Ulises was my contact point. The shop did a fantastic job on my Ford Explorer and walked me through all the repairs it needed. They were done ahead of schedule and when I picked up my car it looked like nothing had ever happened! It was completely detailed and I felt they really cared about my situation and they also made sure my car had all original Ford parts. Their communication with the insurance company was fantastic and I had no worries there. They did a great job and they made a stressful situation for me so much better...I highly recommend Caliber Collision if you ever find yourself in an unfortunate situation and need a great place to take care of your vehicle. Ulises was extremely professional and caring. Thank you Ulises and Caliber Collision!!! read more

Caliber Collision - Before and After and the before picture doesn't show all the damage... - Body Shops Near Me - Escondido, California

I hit a curb with my 2010 Nissan Versa and it dislodged my front bumper assembly. Caliber good-naturedly put it back in place, which did take a bit of time, and did not charge me! 6 months later the same thing happened in parking and hitting the front curb. This time it was worse and I made it to Caliber. Steve helped me thru the process and charged me the minimum and also bumped out the front over the tire. It is important for seniors to have a shop they can trust. Thank you Steve and Caliber. read more

After a disappointing experience(disappointing cant even come close) at the San Marcos branch, we went to this place where we got a top notch service. Ulysses and JULIAN are awesome! I am in awe! I expected what I had become used to with anything auto related from purchasing to maintenance to repair...... minimal service, bad experience. This was something new. Ulysses stayed in contact with me the entire time. He was polite, respectful, and explained every detail. Wait time was minimal and every courtesy was offered. They even served popcorn! This was a AAA sponsored event but Caliber Collision in Escondido has definitely earned my business for all my auto body needs. read more

I would absolutely recommend Caliber Collision (Escondido). I took my truck here because they are AAA recommended and they lived up to the billing. Originally, I was given about a 8-10 day window based on the parts needed and work to be done, but I had stressed to them how much it would help me out if it were done before the weekend. Vern said he would do what he could and he came through. He and his crew went out of their way, even stayed late on that Friday (supposed to close at 530pm, stayed and finished, washed my truck, and handed it to me at 730pm). I couldn't be happier with the job they did making my truck look brand new again, while providing excellent customer service. They handed it off early, only after making sure that the job was done perfectly. Thank you Vern and the Caliber Collision crew! read more

This place is amazing! From start to finish. The receptionist is extremely friendly, offering beverages and snacks (perfect when you have little ones). The estimates are fast and efficient. The staff is friendly and remember you even after weeks of you not coming in. They give you a ride to get your rental and even offer to deliver your car back to you and the rental back to Enterprise. Highly recommend this place to anyone. Car problems can be stressful but Caliber Collision makes it near enjoyable (crazy right?). Special thanks to Ulises! read more

Professional business. $8200 worth of damage to truck fixed in 6 working days, which is 2 weeks earlier than what was originally quoted. Offered to pick me up and drop me off (which I did not end up needing). Thanks to Vern and his team the job was completed in a timely manner with attention to detail. All my questions were answered on the spot. Kept me up to date the whole time and didn't leave me wondering. Highly recommended. read more

Went here recently for some repairs on an infinity G35, great service. Everyone is super polite and offered drinks, coffee, water bottles, coke, it was pretty impressive for an office that I could tell was ran mostly by guys if not entirely. Also, very clean office area, like spotless, shocking for an autoshop. I really like this spot and the quotes were fair and the work was stellar. read more

I'm going to keep it short and sweet: Jeremy is the reason I'm taking the time (after coming home from work, mind you) to give this business a 5-star review. Getting into a car accident is never fun, especially when your only car may be totaled. While my insurance company has been a true nightmare, Jeremy has been beyond pleasant, RESPONSIVE, empathetic and thoughtful. I have received more updates and check-ins from him than from my own claims representative...unbelievable customer service. I hope I'm never in this situation again, but if I am, I would quite literally drive 20 mi out of my way to this location just to deal with these super friendly people. Would recommend to anyone. read more

My boyfriend went here about a year and a half ago. He backed into something, and the bumper was hanging off this old car he had. He didn't want to spend a lot to fix it. He brought it there, and they said it would be around $800 to fix it right, and make it look good. When he told them he just didn't want the bumper hanging on the ground, and not completely fixed nice...they said they could do that. In 15 minutes, they reattached the bumper, and it looked great. The guy didn't charge him. Talk about a classy thing to do, which is unexpected from a car repair place. So, I brought my car there for some body work recently. The place was packed with people, and after waiting a few minutes, somebody came out and gave us a decent quote. I decided not to do the work at this time, to save money. But again, they were really professional. read more
