A1 Collision Center - Car damage - Body Shops Near Me - Escondido, California

Never had to get body work done on my car before so I was a little nervous about the process. My car insurance showed A1 Collision Center with plenty of great reviews and I'm glad I chose them! Their shop is very clean and modern. Steven was very warm, welcoming, and professional! He made the whole process less stressful. I appreciate the open communication with him as well as the text message updates from the shop. Originally I was told my car would be done at a specific date but since my insurance only approved of after market parts, it didn't fit quite as well as they would want it. I really appreciate them communicating that they needed more time to perfect to fit and doing their diligence to complete the job right even if it takes a bit longer. I work in healthcare and it's hard to get off at a reasonable time to drop off/pick up my car for service. Steven was very accommodating to find a schedule to make things work! I'm very happy with the results and with my service! My fiancé ended up in a fender bender just before I picked up my car and we knew to use them again based on their customer service before seeing the results. Highly recommend this place for your auto body needs! read more

I requested quotes from various Yelp vendors to replace both headlamps in my Honda Odyssey. Unlike some other vendors who were slow to repond or who did not provide a solid quote, Steven from A1 Collision responded quickly and provided a complete quote with a fair price, so I decided to move forward with A1 Collision. It was easy to schedule an appointment. When I drove up for my appointment, I noticed that it's a no-frills location. But don't let that deceive you because inside they do provide comfortable chairs, free good wifi, and a TV with Netflix while you wait. But most importantly they did high-quality work on my car in a timely manner. I am very pleased with their work and I highly recommend them. read more

As a new person in the Northern SD area, finding and trusting a body Tech. for my beloved 2008 C-300 was not easy. So I took a "leap of faith" with Steven and his staff. The rear left light was hit with some fender and bumper damage. The shop was clean and organized and Steven turned on the charm, which hardly worked on me. The repairs were completed, on time and with a general wash and buff. Here is the recommendation, my wife took me to pick up my C-300 and we left her car to do some overdue cosmetic cleanup. Thanks A1! read more

Had gotten into a fender bender and sent them photos. They quoted me 800 which was great!! Once my car was in the shop they ended up seeing more damage inside than outside. So i ended up paying quite a lot more but it was advised to do to make sure my car is safe and drivable. They called and let me know, once talking they were able to help me do what was absolutely needed and what i can avoid for now to help with my budget. They were very fast and communicative. They did a great job when i picked it up and they went over everything they did and why they did it. They were very good at providing details and explanations of why it's needed. Thank you guys!! read more

Steven and the team at A1 are true professionals. The work he put into my vehicle was as if it was his own. After working around my work schedule, he was able to finish in a very tight timeline. After arriving to see my vehicle, it honestly looks better than it did before the accident. Steven explained why after walking me around to show the work and paint job. He and his team took the time to get out all of the small dings I had suffered from years of moving and travel. I will recommend everyone I know to A1 collision. 5 star service without a doubt. Wish I had a before picture of my car. A1 Collision did an outstanding job! Came in and gave my an honest quote and order my part the same day. Brought it on a early Monday morning and was complete late afternoon Wednesday! I couldn't believe how fast they fixed it. Paid what the estimated price was and walked away a happy customer! Hopefully I don't ever have to go back, but if I do I'll be going here. You or you know anybody with body damage and you/they live in North County! Go here! Honest working man and fair prices! I just picked up my vehicle TODAY and am SUPER impressed with how much love and care Kameel and his team put into fixing up my Jeep. Not only do they do an amazing job in a timely manner, they are also extremely affordable and will always do their best to find the best price for any parts needing to be replaced. Kameel specifically was amazing with communication throughout the process by texting and calling to keep me updated. I took my 2007 Nissan 350z to A1 and the service and experience was top notch. I needed new front and rear bumpers painted and installed. They were able to do the job within a few days at very good prices. They also painted the oxidized door pillars that had been fading over the 11 years of the car's life. I'm happy to say that the car now looks brand new again, show room ready. The work comes with a lifetime warranty, in case the paint fades or bubbles or anything prematurely, which is awesome for peace of mind. Highly recommend! read more

I love to be able to post positive reviews. Especially when it has to do with auto repair. These folks are hands-down, a top-tier repair shop. It doesn't look like much from the outside but as with people it's the inside that matters. The owner, Kameal & Cody whom I guess is the general manager. Are so nice as people it's ridiculous. At first you wonder what's going on what are these guys up to. What they are up to is giving you the best service possible. The service is genuine the parts are genuine but they always give you an option for ways to save money. Do you know exactly what you're getting into and in my case there were some things that were more expensive than they anticipated. They discussed it with me and either discounted it, or took care of a couple things for free. I'm not saying they're going to do this all the time but I think because they had the paint mixed up they took care of some scratches and dents that weren't even on my bill. I was out of my mind when I saw my truck and how well it looked. Done on time and they kept me posted through the whole process. They weren't sure they could have it done by the weekend but when I told him I had a first date. They made sure it happened lol I'm not putting a whole lotta thought into this review I just want to get the point across that I was thoroughly impressed with Kameal Cody and everybody else that worked there. There were some special circumstances and they had no problem handling them. I'm sending my 88-year-old mom here to get her car fixed because the local Toyota dealership took her to the cleaners last time. I will be bringing my other car in and recommending these folks to everybody. I know. Give them a try you will not be disappointed. No, I don't work for A1. I would however. They take care of their employees. read more

My daughter's 2016 Toyota Corolla got rear and front-ended on Highway 405, and my insurance company sent an appraiser that couldn't estimate all additional damage to the car's infrastructure. The owner of the shop, Kameel Fakhoury, dealt with my insurance company to cover all damage that wasn't estimated and we got our car back as good as new. We've known Kameel for over 10 years, and he will always be a trusted family member. Thanks for the great service, Kameel and staff! read more

Thank you to A1 Collision Center! My daughters car was keyed all around the car . The owner was very helpful and nice. He offered to see if buffing the car where it was keyed would help. He said if it didn't work he would not charge us. Well it did work in most places and it looked good! We didn't have to file an insurance claim and we payed less than the deductible! Outstanding service. It's nice doing business with someone so honest. We will bring our cars in in the future! read more
