I was referred to Auto Art by my coworker and yes, I was skeptical because the auto business is generally shady and unethical. I've got to say, they far exceeded my expectations. All the employees that I've interacted with were very professional, friendly, and prompt. I appreciated that I was kept in the loop with timely updates via phone. They moved my Enterprise booking to the Auto Parkway location and secured me a ride to Enterprise. Not only that but coordinating with the at-fault's insurance every step of the way. They were even able to secure a hard-to-find wheel that I had. My car looked like new with the spectacular repair and the detailing of the interior and exterior of my car. I had some packing tape residue on my front passenger window that I COULD NOT REMOVE even though I used goo gone and rubbing alcohol. That residue was nowhere to be seen. I have already told several people about Auto Art and they will be the ones I'll refer anyone needing repair to without hesitation. It is a breath of fresh air to find an honest, high-quality business that goes above and beyond. read more

Came in for damage to my passenger side of my truck. Talked to Justin who gave me a lot of confidence leaving my vehicle with him. Was able to pick it up a few days early and it looked brand new and for guys working around and in it, it was very clean. read more

This is a moderate in depth review of my experience with Auto Art Collision Specialist. So I got into an accident about 3 years ago that misaligned my vehicle's frame. I had taken in it to a collision repair center before but mentioned there was nothing wrong, however I knew something wasn't right because of how bad my car felt on the road and constant adjustment to the rear toe. I decided I'd try again with Auto Art Collision Specialist and they got it right! They measured and confirmed the misalignment on the frame, then pulled it back to place! Joel was very informative throughout the entire process, very communicative and the team there are indeed superb specialists when it comes to their profession. Best part of all they were fast and for the work they did, prices were very reasonable as well. Not to mention they even gave me a ride home when I dropped off. Couldn't thank them enough for their honest work, highly recommend!! read more

Auto art goes above and beyond on customer service . They completed my vehicle timely manner . I'll definitely refer everyone to go here .

These guys are awesome. I needed an upper shock mount repaired on my car because I replaced my own shocks and overtightened the mounting bolts, snapping one bolt and allowing the remaining bolt to tear the stud out of the inner wheel well. I went from shop to shop and had everyone turn me down, claiming too much liability. I visited other body shops, Mechanic shops, and alignment shops and they were just giving me the runaround. Then I got to Auto Art and they were ready and willing to help me out and not charge an arm and a leg. I would truly give them 10 stars if I could!! Definitely highly recommended!!! read more

I have a Prius. It has very low clearance resulting in damage to the area beneath the front bumper when pulling into some parking spaces due to the concrete car stops. This was NOT an insurance claim. I took my car in and the staff were wonderful. The manager, Greg Barrera, went out of his way to help me. They gave me an estimate and once the work was done the cost was less. How often does that happen? Apparently my car didn't need one of the parts replaced. I also talked with them about repairing my two window quarter panel decorative covers. They did the job for a really inexpensive amount. The job makes my 2017 Prius look brand new. I would highly recommend this businesses. They were courteous, helpful, professional and did a great job. read more

Justin was very friendly and thorough in his explanation. The car looks like new. So happy with the results!

We were robbed of our catalytic converter this thanksgiving and had originally expected to wait months for a replacement, but Ulysses was able to help us and the shop got it done within the same day we brought the car in. Impeccable customer service & work, thank you! read more

I have taken in both my cars , they were broadsided in three car accidents in the past 14 months. Auto Art was professional and did the job with an artistic flare. I would recommend them to anyone. I thought for sure the cars would be totaled but they worked wonders. They were exceptional in their ability to paint match. It's difficult to match paint in cars ten years and older but they did it all three times. read more

I unfortunately got in an accident on the fwy and my first accident period and honestly didn't have an clue what to do and was getting the run around from the other guys insurance company. They helped me from start to finish and answered whatever questions I had. My car looks brand new and you can't even tell I was in an accident. read more

This place is AWESOME they deserve 10 stars. This isn't my first time having car problems solved with them. Each time they provided excellent service in every category. Customer service, the technicians who make the cars look show room new, the follow up while the work was done, the drivers who pick you up when the work was done. They go a step above and practice a high level in making sure their customers are happy. read more

Auto Art will not let you pay for your repair by a personal check for over $ 250 and for the (inevitably) greater amount remaining, charges you an additional 3+ percent of the remaining balance for using a charge card in addition to the somewhat pricy cost of the repair. In addition, I felt that the quality of their repair work was merely adequate in comparison to other shops I have used as, after their work was completed you can still tell my vehicle door had been damaged. It is better, but not as good as it should have been as compared with other repairs I have had over the years. Overall, I am less than completely happy with their services. I felt that Auto Art did not appreciate my business and this was made clearly evident in many ways. read more

Such amazing service! The precise paint matching! The perfect body alignment! Complimentary wax and detail service! Such a great experience from start to finish! Our car was finished two weeks early too, fast efficient services, and there were still no corners cut! Vernon and Noe were amazing, everything ran so smoothly I almost forgot it was there it was finished so fast! After the hit and run happened only three months after we bought our car, I never thought it would look the same again. Now it looks better than ever! I will recommend everyone I know to come here! read more

WE've had several cars serviced by Auto Art over the years, so when my 18 year old Mini Cooper had a small issue, a loose piece above the wheel well ...I brought it to Auto Art to see if they could fix it... Well, fix it they did, not only fix it they did it in a few minutes, adding a clip that was missing ....and did not charge!!! Nice to see a home town business being so thoughtful and considerate!! read more

Fantastic body shop. I came in to get a scrape on my car fixed and was extremely impressed by the work done and the very professional level of service. The whole team was fantastic, but I especially wanted to thank Alex who guided me through my repair. He was extremely friendly and helpful, and took the time to explain the details of what/how things were going to get fixed and provided updates as time passed to make me aware of the repair progress. My repair only took a few days, and on the final day they were able to wash and detail my car which was very much appreciated. I got my car back in like new condition, and I drove off very satisfied with the work done. Rates are competitive with neighboring body shops, but the level of service is unmatched. If you need to get your car fixed, come here! Highly recommend. read more

Unfortunately I've had to take two cars here but fortunately was able to get amazing service. They are fast and fair with prices. They explained what every charge was and why it was charged. Wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. read more

Auto Art nailed the fundamentals - Good communication, competitive pricing, and quality on-time work. And they were willing to work on my somewhat older vehicle (1996) when other body shops refused. I recommend Auto Art without reservation. read more

Quick to respond to requests for a quote on Yelp! Prompt, courteous service and no bait and switch on the pricing, which was lower than every other body shop in the area! Not only did they do an amazing job on my front bumper, they polished my front headlights and cleaned my car inside AND out!! Totally unexpected! Should I have the need for a body shop again, I won't go anywhere else! Thanks everyone! read more

I love this place and the people!!! My poor brand new Honda got side swiped by a truck and the entire right side was destroyed less than a year after I got her. They left her looking as if nothing ever happened! Five months later, another idiot fish tailed me speeding out of a drive way and smashed in my front bumper and headlight. Once again, she's looking as beautiful as the day I bought her! They are extremely nice and courteous! They work really fast and communicate with you as to what is going on. They are detailed and take pride in their work. God forbid anything ever happens again, but I am definitely a forever customer! read more

Once again Auto Art comes thru with an amazing fix. My sons rear bumper was damaged in an accident. They worked diligently with the insurance and our schedule to get him back on the road fast. Ulises is the go to guy! For over 15 years we have been doing business with this sho! I highly recommend them for your next repair!

Man, usually you have to choose price or service, this place has BOTH. From the minute I called in, until I saw my car, awesome awesome service. Melanie was my point of contact the whole time. You would be an idiot to take your car anywhere else. Melanie was extremely kind and on top of everything. My wifes car was hit in the front, they handled repaired everything and took care of everything with the insurance. I quoted 3 shops, they were the most competitive which made me a little bit nervous about the quality of the work. I am a car guy, I am particular when it comes too paint matching/blending if there is a difference I will notice... but the quality of the work is excellent. Although the fender and front bumper were replaced/repaired, there is NO evidence of work being done. Plus they guarantee all the work for life. Hats off to you guys. Companies like this remind me why I love the free market, the ability to choose awesome businesses like this one. Melanie you ROCK. Everyone else, you guys rock too. Thank you all. read more

Let's just say I had a horrible experience with the original body shop my insurance directed me to, so I was already hesitant to try another place.. but after speaking with Melanie, the manager, she assured me that she would take care of me, and that she did! They even washed my car! Can't say enough... HIGHLY recommend this team!! read more

I do my best to make sure to review all local Escondido businesses and am happy to recommend this one. An unfortunate towing experience left me with rear and front bumper damage with the rear one needing the most work. My car left looking like new and I felt truly valued as a customer throughout the repair process. I last worked with this shop nearly 10 years and 2 cars ago and I'm happy to say that the quality/value balance I experienced in that instance remains unchanged. read more

I appreciate your time and looking at the file. Although, I would advise you speak to the gentlemen who helped me. I did request a quote for a replacement drivers side mirror but as you stated I decided not to have it replaced. I was called before the drivers side mirror was removed and given a quote for replacement costs. It was a high amount since the only "damage" to the drivers side mirror was condensation in the directional "glass". Your detailed notes of previous damage at time of vehicle drop off should reflect this. I told the gentleman not to go forward with any work that was not part of the accident; except for the oil change. At a later date I was called and advised that the vehicle was ready but the wrong mirror was ordered and replaced and that I had the option to pick up the vehicle and come back to get the right part replaced at a later date. All of which I stated in my original review. As stated, I refused the offer and decided to leave the vehicle to have the correct part replaced. At time of final pick up the drivers side mirror had additional damage that was not there at time of drop off. The gentleman had to buff out transferred paint on the mirror and told me that he'd call me back later the following business week. Well no call to date and it's late March. Your response insinuates that the drivers side mirror damage was existing at time of initial drop off and that the removal of the drivers side mirror was at my request. Which is the complete opposite of what happened. Which is what prompted me to write this review to help future customers. Again I suggest, you speak to the gentlemen that helped me and get the facts or call the adjuster on the claim. All of this was documented by AAA as I had my adjuster call in and speak to your employee in order to work on getting the correct part replaced. Blaming the customer for a mistake made by your shop is not only bad business but speaks volumes towards your ethics. Which is why I have delayed in following up. I look forward to your call so that we may discuss the matter. read more

I have had an amazing experience with Auto Art. I went to a few other places for estimates and they all told me that there was no way my bedside could be fixed unless they replaced the whole thing which was very pricey. I came here and they assured me that they could get the job done without replacing the bedside. I was a little nervous because my truck is my baby! It has been like this for 2 and a half years and I was ready to get it fixed. I could tell that this place did good work so I gave them a chance. Boy did they exceed my expectations! They kept me updated through the process and stayed true to their word. Also has a lifetime warranty which is the cherry on top. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs body work done on their vehicle. Special thanks to Marco! Couldn't be more happy! read more

Its been a month since my wife's auto accident. Thank God she was not seriously injured and she is still recovering. I can't say so much for our car though. It took a beating but keeps on ticking. It did it's job and now it's all better now thanks to Auto Art in Escondido. I picked this collision repair shop based on all the positive online reviews; and boy am I glad I did. They kept me updated throughout the whole process with texts and phone calls. In the end, they made a stressful situation, a stress free situation. It was always a pleasure to speak with every person at Auto Art. I'm telling you my friends, God forbid you need an auto repair shop any time soon. But should you need one, I highly recommend them, 100%. Even their workmanship is second to none. Check the before and after photos. :) Thank you Auto Art Collision Repair. read more

To say that the folks at Auto Art are concerned with customer service would be an understatement. We've taken multiple vehicles there over the years for minor and major damage and been happy every time with their speed, quality of work and customer service. You won't go wrong. read more
