I just received my mom's 1998 Honda Accord LX Sedan Car back yesterday from the Oceanside Auto. Repair Shop on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 5 p. m. from Victor one of their employees that works in their office. My mother's car was side swipped by this man who was driving a Toyota Rav-4 SUV and this was a hit and run accident. I looked at the Paint Re-Match that one of Joe Lara's (owner) completed on my mom's 1998 Honda Accord LX Sedan Car and her Silver Metallic Paint is an exact match even though her car is an older vehicle and 22 years old plus the paint has faded over time. I want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the fantastic job you have done. I will call this morning to ask Joe Lara the owner of Baha Auto Body Shop, if I can get the technician's (first name), so this Technician can receive the necessary Recognition and Appreciation for this AMAZING JOB he has done on Re-Painting those really bad deep scraped off marks that showed the undercoating on her Driver's Side Power Mirror which is covered in this surrounding area. One of their technicians did a fantastic job on my mom's car and I am very happy for this great outcome. Two months ago Someone hit my car from the rear while parked and didn't leave a note. was a bad hit, took it to several body shops and they all quoted way over $2000 to change the bumper, etc. A friend told me about Jose and Antonio at Baha Body shop so I took it there for an estimate, and it was day and night, on how professionally I was treated, how honest and open they were with me and the prices they quoted me. They fixed my Mercedez Suv like new (made sure the sensors were working and all lights) for $500. The work was impeccable, and Jose and Antonio were wonderful and fully accommodating in doing the work in a short time. Then 2 weeks ago my wife's car was in a fender bender, and the same thing happened, the insurance company sent us to their Preferred shops which quoted us astronomical prices. So we took it to Jose & Antonio and they did the work for far less and the work was outstanding. The treatment like before was wonderful and professional. I wish other businesses adopt the professionalism, honesty, and quality work that Jose & Antonio do. They are special people who understand what it's like when your car needs to be fixed and you don't know what to do. I would NOT recommend Baha Auto Body to anyone. They were recommended by my mechanic to repair the front bumper only in February due to some paint chips. The car was taken to them and the paint was horribly done. It was smeared in some places and excess drips of paint in other places. The paint did not match. I dropped it off myself to get a scratch that they didn't catch and should have as well as have a new bracket put on the bumper. This time, they spilled a chemical on the hood that ate away at the paint, they tried to clean the yellowing of my headlights and removed a rubber seal and didn't replace it as well as scratched my headlights and set off a parking sensor. I did not want them touching my car again. They did more damage to my car than fixing it. I believe they tried to do other repairs to make up for damaging other things and it escalated to having more damage. My mechanic was kind enough to let me take it to the body shop of my choice and it now looks beautiful! It is now May, it took 4 months to get all the repairs done because of Baha. read more

Would not recommend! Came to baha auto body to get a bumper painted and they said they would do a full prep and color match. Upon receiving the bumper back it had obviously not been prepped and wasn't the right color. I called and took it back on the promise that they would respray and realized it still wasn't the same color as seen in the picture. I read reviews, but I also like having personal referrals... Someone who'd done excellent work on my car, and who'd proven himself to have integrity, recommended Baha Auto Body with confidence; that weighed heavily in my decision to give them a try. Jose, the owner, gave me a quote I couldn't refuse; he was friendly from start to finish, and I never felt pressured or rushed - he actually took his time, even after the work had been done and I was picking the car up, despite being after hours on a Friday! The work was completed earlier than expected, and the result is outstanding: My baby looks so shiny and beautiful. They did a great job matching the red paint, restored the glossy topcoat (which had been destroyed by unqualified painters), and the front bumper, one of the best features of the car, looks brand new... They somehow repaired it to perfection, rather than replacing it. You'd never know my car's paint and front bumper had been in such bad shape. My mechanic came over to see it the day I picked it up; he went over it with a fine tooth comb, is impressed with the work, says they did a great job, and could tell which panels had been replaced (by looking from underneath)... Zero stars! My Volvo S60 was STOLEN from their open lot. The owners Son admitted leaving the key fab in the ignition and the door unlocked. It was also parked in the 1st spot near the street, backed in so it was easily driven away only seeing the back of the person on the camera footage across the street. There's no gate to protect cars from being stolen and no cameras on this business. I left my car for 1 night for a repair and it was stolen. The response from the owner was "sorry for the inconvenience. " The person who stole my car appeared to go right to it and open the door and drive away. read more

I took my Vette there and had to have my car repainted .they don't understand English very well and I used there restroom and there guys wiped the ass with toilet paper and threw it back in waste basket Soo nasty like pigs !! They were suppose to fix my bumper and repaint it along with my grill and fog bezels and I had to go back 3 times because , they didn't do it right and also there was no need to drive my car for more than 1/2 mile for there personal use. The owner seems like a nice guy. The service is probably better once you get to know him. My mom had her car in there recently after a fender-bender. She was given a very competitive quote for the work and, being on a budget, decided to let them do the work, amounting to about $2500. The work was mostly solid. We are taking it back to have a couple of things corrected, such as a splotchy paint job on the hood, blinker not working, etc. One particularly irritating thing is that they apparently ruined several of the wheel lugs when putting the wheel back on. This can happen when a power tool is used to put the nuts back on without first hand-threading them onto the lugs. The lugs then break off when the nuts are afterwards removed. We are certain that the wheel was last removed at this shop. This is a bad situation because the customer doesn't realize there's a problem until the wheel needs to be taken off. If a tire blows out, the customer could be stuck on side of the road without a way to change it. Update: 23 Mar 2017 Took the car back in to have the hood repainted. What happened there was probably the humidity from the recent rains interfered with the drying of the metallic paint. I brought in the lug nuts with the broken-off lugs. The manager (Joe?) seems like a nice guy, but wasn't particularly willing to take responsibility for it, as there's no proof that it was done by his shop, only our word that the wheel wasn't taken off by anyone else. He says that the lug nuts are always hand-threaded onto the lugs before using the impact wrench on them. read more
