While washing my BRAND NEW Chevy Blazer, I lifted the hood, but had left the driver side windshield wiper up. Unknowingly, I put a dent/crease in the back edge of the hood. I called my miracle worker dent professional, but he warned me beforehand that he might not be able to fix this dent due to the location & physical, 2-ply construction of the hood. He attempted, but he couldn't erase this dent, plus the paint was chipped on the edge of the hood. I felt sick to my stomach as we had only just made our first payment. As he has worked in the dent/car biz in the valley for decades, I asked for a recommendation. He said RP Paint Studios was known for their quality & craftsmanship. I told him I would take it there for a quote. He even texted the owner, Rudy, that I was headed to see him & to take good care of me. When we entered the lobby, we were greeted by a very friendly executive assistant, Nancy. She gave us a quote & said they could start on it on Monday the following week. She said it would be done by Wednesday afternoon. I honestly wasn't too concerned with the cost of the repair as long as the crease was repaired to perfection & the paint (the entire hood had to be repainted) was perfectly matched to the rest of the car. We had taken one of our kids' cars to a bargain collision center & we got what we paid for, which was a car with two distinct, mismatched colors. To my great delight, Rudy was able to adjust the price down given the personal referral & the fact that I am a retired first responder. They did a great job on my 2019 wrx STI. The color match is perfect and you cant really tell its had work done. This is the type of place you go when you want it done with high quality. If you have a special ride that your picky about this is where you should go. The cost wasn't bad and they turned around the work quickly.
