This is by far the worst place I have ever heard of or been associated with! It is licensed robbery! For a dent and a few scratches, they gave me a quote of almost $8,000 while the dealership (which is supposed to be the most expensive), gave a quote of $2,235! They figured if you have insurance, which I do, you would only care about your deductible--but their thinking is twisted and wrong, and rather unethical, so I passed on them, and you should too! read more

On a fairly ordinary Wednesday commute home, another vehicle attempted to occupy the same space as me during a lane change. There wasn't any gross negligence involved; it was some very unfortunate timing for both parties. We figured insurance would find us mutually at fault, and it would be cost-prohibitive to get them involved. The damage to my vehicle was fairly limited to just a dented bumper and a dented fender. The following day, I spent about 45 seconds on Yelp, saw the overwhelming positive reviews for Murrieta Auto Collision (MAC), and I went in for an estimate about 20 minutes before they closed. Here are the hightlights and why these guys are awesome. They were very transparent with me with advice. They were confident they could fix the dented fender via bodywork and paint, but they referred me to a local paintless dent repair company that could provide some really good results for significantly less money. I had to go with an entirely new bumper, and they had it ordered and in-hand within 1 business day! My accident was on a Wednesday. I visited MAC right before they closed the following Thursday. My car was repaired by the following Tuesday. Can't beat that turn-around time. The paintless dent repair company is coming by today to finish it off, and I look forward to putting this behind me. Mike was the associate I dealt with the most. Awesome dude, and he put up with a few silly questions on my end. Very personable, and I'm super grateful for his efforts to get everything handled. Herman helped me out on the Thursday that I went in for the estimate. He was able to get the damaged bumper bent back into a satisfactory state where I could at least drive the vehicle over the weekend - my tire was rubbing the fender when turning left -while waiting for the parts to come in. My car had a dead battery and I had to call roadside assistance for a jump start. Worrying if it will happen again, I went to an AutoZone and the test showed the battery was bad so I purposed a new one. Unfortunately the staff at AutoZone wasn't comfortable replacing battery for my specific vehicle model concerning potential demage to the car. I called Murrieta Auto Collision and they accepted this ad hoc work even if there's only half an hour left till store close. I drove there and was greeted by the staff I spoke on phone and soon the technician Herman dropped his work at hand and replaced the battery efficiently. Had the need to have a nasty scratch refinished as a result of some low life keying my wifes car. The scratch ran across the front passenger door and part of the read door. It was a deep scratch which necessated painting and blending. The final results were that the repairs are undetectable! Color and texture matches are spot on. Yesterday (3/27/2024 PM) I went to Murrieta Auto Collision (I've never been there before) with hopes they could give me an estimate for front hood damage that occurred a couple weeks prior, which to me, appeared to be a deep scrape damage down to the bare metal. Mind you, I picked this collision specialist from multiple reviews I read and Murrieta Auto Collision was at the top, with 5 stars. After a friendly office staff encounter, out walks one of their estimators, Mike. We walked to the truck, he inspected the damage, smiled and said, "is this it?" to which I said "yep, that's it." After inspection, he smiled and said he didn't think this was down to the metal damage and asked me to hang on a minute. A couple minutes later Mike returns with what appeared to be a lacquer thinner product(?) and a microfiber cloth. Mike wets the cloth and starts to rub the front hood area. Shazaam ! What initially appeared to me as a deep scratch down to the metal, was simply paint transfer from what I had nudged into weeks before. Mike smiled and again asked me to hang on another minute. Mike returns this time with buffing compound and an orbital polisher. Applying a little compound to the same area and letting the orbital polisher do its thing, all the damage was back to new showroom luster. I was amazed and Mike was just smiling. I offered to pay for his time and expertise and Mike said, "nope, all is good; just have a have a nice day." I said "nah, c'mon; please let me pay you." Mike continued to smile and just told me to have a nice day. This experience was simply AMAZING to me, that there are still businesses and people that go the extra mile, with just a smile. Although I hope and pray, I will not need their services again, if I do, it's a no-brainer where I'll be going. Thank you again Mike, you made my day!
