Our local insurance agent referred us to RCAC when my 2017 4Runner "the Stormtrooper" got banged up from sliding in the mountain snow into a wall. The front bumper panel was ruined, along with deep gouges on the oppposite wheel fairing. We didn't need an appointment. They were busy working on many cars (a good sign I guess), but everyone was friendly and directed us to the office. The office administrator is a very nice lady (didn't catch her name) who was efficient, helpful, and expert with dealing with insurance. We reviewed the damage with Bob the manager, a courteous guy. He told us he would call us the following day to review the cost and work to be done. We were happily surprised at the cost of all the work, and since it was so close to our deductible we decided to pay out of pocket. Communication was very good, they called throughout the process to keep us updated. A few business days later when we picked up the Stormtrooper I just stared at first. It looked like a brand new car. It was sparkling clean too. It's a few years old and had lots of little dings and scratches, mostly on the bumpers. The new front bumper looked great, white paint a perfect match. But they also removed EVERY ding and scratch on the car, including several on the rear bumper! I was amazed and grateful. It's so hard to touch up dings yourself, it never looks great. But they restored the exterior to like new condition at no extra cost. So nice. In this day and age where COVID seems to excuse businesses for poor customer service, it is so calming to find this collision shop. From the very second I walked into the office...Amazed! I was greeted by Sara. If you have any qualms with this lady, it's YOU! She is a classic example of customer service and so appreciated. Enterprise (Ryan) and Geico's (Andy) all worked in sync with this company and really, all I had to do was show up. I had a few scratches on my front bumper that they touched up and even buffed out my door, that was ruined by another company. Wow! In 100 degree heat. Truck was victim of some vandalism, this was where my insurance sent me. My truck was repaired in about 10 days! They were super transparent and communicated very effectively with me. The process was effortless. Little 5% discount from my deductible by using cash so that was awesome! And if I can be honest? After getting my truck back, I'm not even mad that I had to pay to get the damage repaired. It looks so good now, even better than what it was when I brought it in. I'm so happy with it. Beyond happy with my experience! Someone damaged my front bumper so I took it into Rancho Collision. They took my vehicle in right away and had it fully repaired earlier than expected, huge bonus! And to my surprise when I picked up my vehicle it was essentially detailed!!!! Inside and out, totally cleaned! So not only did I get to pick up my truck with a brand new bumper, but it was fully cleaned and in MUCH better condition than when I brought it in. And for that fact alone I would 100% bring any of our cars back if we had to. The ladies in the front office were extremely friendly from the first time I spoke with them on the phone and when I went into the office, very friendly and helpful. Getting parts for the car was problematic, but they were able to source Porsche factory parts pretty quickly. After the accident, State Farm advised me to repair my car at one of their recommended service centers, warning that if I didn't, the repairs might not be done correctly, and they wouldn't fully cover the costs. I read reviews about Rancho California Auto Collision, which is part of the State Farm network, and decided to take my car there for repairs. It was immediately evident that the entire front plastic of the car needed to be replaced. However, the technicians only replaced the grille. The bumper, which was bent and had broken mounts after the accident, remained unchanged. When I asked why the bumper wasn't replaced, the office manager replied that if I paid for it myself, they would replace it. I was then called in to speak with the manager, who began explaining to me that it was made of plastic, not metal, and that it was considered normal, like new. He also seemed offended that I had described their work as subpar. In summary, it felt like they were taking advantage of customers. I do not recommend dealing with this company or getting insurance through State Farm. read more
