I was rear ended waiting at the light that meters you onto the freeway in a car I had just purchased (2 months ago). Insurance gave me several body shops to check out. I landed on Gerber and it has been a good experience. I was assigned to Emilee H. and Emilee texted me almost daily with updates. I have learned over the years to be patient....especially when it comes to something like this....the last thing you want to do is to push someone to hurry and do a task as important as your vehicle repairs after an accident. Some parts they had to order were a slight bit delayed and to me that's totally understandable - how could anyone think that every part is readily available? That's not realistic. There are a ton of parts under the body that you don't even realize (I do)....so these shops get unfair reviews. Although the accident was not at all my fault - I have to be fair. When I received word that my car was ready I went to pick it up and again I was ready to maybe see something that was not perfect because I had been rear ended and there was a lot of damage - about the only thing I saw was a small cover on the bumper cover that wasn't snapped into place. I asked Emilee if someone could take care of it and with a smile she had it taken care of in just a minute. Three days later I noticed that a piece of trim a barely a tiny bit loose and went back to see Gerber - as soon as Emilee noticed me she was asking if there was something she could help with and again with a smile she walked outside and looked at the trim....she quickly noticed a small clip was missing and replaced it within three minutes. She was happy to help. This is all you can ask for....Emilee has responded to the two minor things I noticed and handled them immediately. I believe if anything else comes up pertaining to the accident that she will be willing to help no problem at all. That's about all I can ask for. I honestly think that the car looks better than it did before the accident. So thank you to everyone at Gerber and I also feel that they will be there for me. They do really good work. I'm bummed I didn't read the 1 star reviews before I chose this place to take my car in. After they completed repairs which I will say they did a good job on, however it wasn't until I got home that I noticed the paint on this panel was worn off as if they taped it and the paint started to come off. When I told Ryan, my estimator he got very defensive and said it was sun damage, although I have photos from before I dropped off my car there and clearly that panel was not like that. I have requested to speak with a Manager as I was not getting anywhere with Ryan arguing with me. If they make it right I will fix adjust my review read more

I was rear ended at the car wash and took my car to Gerber for a new bumper. Emily and Darrell were prompt and efficient and told me they would order the part. I went home and got a call the next day that the part was in. I went in the following day. They called the rental car company and I was on my way home. I got a call and text later that day that my car was ready then dropped off my rental and picked up my car. The process was so easy and stress free I couldn't believe it. I recommend this shop! It's been a strange year and I have had three different events where I've needed to take more than one of my cars for paint and body work. Not a fun thing for sure. My insurance works with this shop and while you think that it would just be another shop on the list, these people have taken care of me. Ryan always knows the details of what's going on, works closely with my insurance to make sure I'm not on the phone all day, and keeps me up to date on any changes. Since i've had my cars here several times, I can say that the work is not only well done, but also consistent. In one case, where an item that was not originally to be fixed broke as a part of disassembly, they called me to let me know of the issue and ordered the part right away. In another case where we were reviewing the car for intake, we found some additional damage not reported to insurance, and they made the call for me and got it added. By the time I was done w paperwork my rental was there outside ready for me. I had a headlight bumper and some body damage repaired. One of worst experiences I've ever had in my life. Please if you have car accidents take your car somewhere better. My car was in this body shop for 2 months for only a few changes! My car supposed to be ready 28 days ago and whenever I called them they said it will be ready tomorrow, nest week, tomorrow. They were not honest at all to buy time. One of the workers ( paula) hanged up at me and she was super rude by the Phone. I talked with the supervisor of the shop which Liz ( manger) gave the phone to me, he was rude when I said I am unhappy and plz don't expect me to write good reviews for the body shop, he was laughing and said nobody care about google reviews these days. Believe me if you care about your mental health don't ever let them to fix your car. It doesn't worth it even you pay more somewhere else but you have peace.
