Don't ask. They ordered the glass immediately and booked me in for the following morning. They fitted the glass as planned and did a nice job. Only problem- the tailgate then wouldn't shut. They meticulously removed every last shard of glass and tried repeatedly for a long time to get it to close. They researched online and discovered that apparently this is a recurring problem with Pacificas. They eventually got it to shut and advised me to wait 24hrs before opening it in the hope of giving the electrical system a chance to reset . Or something. Anyway, 24hrs later I tried but find I now can't open the door at all! Called them up and arranged to bring it back in again the following morning. They then proceeded to have three guys dismantle and work on it for well over an hour until they finally got it working. And didn't charge me for anything extra, even though none of this was their fault. Oh, and did I mention that it was super cheap in the first place! Excellent customer service and excellent work from all concerned. I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys for all your auto glass needs.

They let me know I had a small car part missing (that i didnt notice was missing), and they even helped me with a spot of rust before I get it fixed permanently. I can tell they are genuinely kind people and care about their work. I also forgot my jacket when I left and they call me back right away to let me know! I was able to come get it back a few minutes after leaving. Thank you so much to the whole team! I will be back in the future, and I will refer other people here!

I dropped my car off at 0730. I was told that I could pick up my car at 5pm. When I arrived at 5pm my car was parked right where I left it. I asked why my windshield had not been replaced. The guy in the work area there shouted that they had been too busy. When I asked if he could come into the front office and explain why no one had even called me, he became silent and would not come into the reception area! Needless to say I am EXTREMELY disappointed. In order to avoid going there again I have made an appointment with Safelite in Carlsbad and now have to wait until Saturday. My insurance company told me that if I didn't want to use Safelite I could go anywhere but would have to pay the total cost of the windshield up front. I wish I could afford to. I have NEVER had this level of horrible customer service. I would NOT recommend!

The CS agent told me she couldn't find my claim so I told her that I would just pay for it and bill the insurance myself then. She wouldn't schedule the appointment. I went online the next day and was able to schedule an appointment for an OEM replacement online at the shop for 3 days later(Thursday). On Wednesday I got a call from the shop saying they have me scheduled for Th but only have the aftermarket for my SUV. My insurance covers OEM so I'm not compromising quality. They rescheduled to come out to my house on Monday but said they would reschedule if they didn't have the glass yet. I got a call this am (Sa) at 9 confirming the appointment for Monday and said they were able to get my glass. At 11AM, I got an email-not a call, saying that my appointment was CANCELLED! I called immediately and was told that it was done by this shop in Escondido, not corporate. First I was told it was because they were overbooked then it was because they also didn't have my glass yet. Not a call. Just a corporate email. Someone lied to me, not sure whom but either way, I learned. Just because your insurance company says it's their preferred venue, it's because of $$ for them. I should have listened to my gut and went local or to the dealership. I have an appointment Tuesday with a local place to get it done.

My husband told me on the day of installation, they were punctual, efficient and completed the window replacements on time. We got Simonton laminated double paned windows, and although they haven't blocked out as much sound as I hoped, they actually help a good deal with lowering hot temperatures in that room in the summer. It's been about a year and the windows still look great and work well (they're also much easier to slide open than our old windows). I would definitely recommend them!

Grace Auto Glass is the best! They replaced my windshield a couple of years ago. After a heavy rain the electronics under my dash was flooded. North County GMC blamed it on the after market windshield (beware North County GMC doesn't take responsibility for ANYTHING!) I called Grace Auto Glass and spoke to Joe. He told me he would take full responsibility if it was due to a leak. He had me come in and showed me it was a manufacturing defect, not the windshield. Very reasonably priced and extremely helpful! They replaced my entire front windshield for an extremely low price and cleaned out all of the glass that had shattered into my car for no additional charge. As my car is very old, they found a lot of rust that had to be sanded down and they did not add too much to the total price, even though this was unexpected. About a month ago, my freshly replaced windshield was struck by a rock late in the afternoon and these guys were so kind to fit me in before they closed! My husband took it in and said they're very kind and that if the repair fails, the money I paid for it would go toward the replacement windshield if need be. I can barely see the divot in my windshield now and it's held up great thus far! They were truly a life saver as we were getting ready to drive all the way to Las Vegas that night. read more

Glad I found this place! My 23 year old truck needed a new front windshield after it was hit on the freeway and a large crack appeared. I am very happy with the service from Grace Auto Glass. I was recommended here by a couple mechanics to get my windshield replaced. Honestly, I'm very happy with the service and the timing of it all. He gave a quote of $135 and that's what it came out to when everything was said and done. No additional charges, no hidden charges, just straight up, we have the part and this is how much. Last night my car got broken into in an attempted carjacking. The guy smashed my driver window while I was in it and there was glass everywhere. Today I brought my car in to get the window repaired and Joe and his crew replaced it in an hour for an affordable price. On top of that, they vacuumed out all of the glass for me without me even asking. I recommend this company to anybody and everybody! read more

Great Experience. The motor in my window broke and my window fell inside the car. Joe was able to get me in for a free estimate that day, ordered the part and fit me in and had it fixed by the next day. I have learned over the years to be patient....especially when it comes to something like this....the last thing you want to do is to push someone to hurry and do a task as important as your vehicle repairs after an accident. Some parts they had to order were a slight bit delayed and to me that's totally understandable - how could anyone think that every part is readily available? That's not realistic. There are a ton of parts under the body that you don't even realize (I do)....so these shops get unfair reviews. Although the accident was not at all my fault - I have to be fair. When I received word that my car was ready I went to pick it up and again I was ready to maybe see something that was not perfect because I had been rear ended and there was a lot of damage - about the only thing I saw was a small cover on the bumper cover that wasn't snapped into place. I asked Emilee if someone could take care of it and with a smile she had it taken care of in just a minute. Three days later I noticed that a piece of trim a barely a tiny bit loose and went back to see Gerber - as soon as Emilee noticed me she was asking if there was something she could help with and again with a smile she walked outside and looked at the trim....she quickly noticed a small clip was missing and replaced it within three minutes. She was happy to help. This is all you can ask for....Emilee has responded to the two minor things I noticed and handled them immediately. I believe if anything else comes up pertaining to the accident that she will be willing to help no problem at all. That's about all I can ask for. I honestly think that the car looks better than it did before the accident. So thank you to everyone at Gerber and I also feel that they will be there for me. They do really good work. I recommend them if you are searching for a good shop when referred by your insurance company. Ask for Emilee!

But when you experience truly exceptional service, you have to make the effort to recognize it. I never actually met John in person, but I've worked with a lot of tint companies over the years (I'm in the automotive industry myself), and I can confidently say he's in a league of his own. I've never dealt with someone so willing to go above and beyond to help when you're in a tough spot. What impressed me even more was his integrity. He knew we were in a bind and could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but he didn't. No price gouging, no games. Just honest, fair pricing and outstanding service. We initially chose Mr. Tint for their quality, speed, and price. But John's customer service is the reason I'm taking the time to write this review. There may be plenty of tint shops out there but there's only one John. And I can't say enough about the way he does business.
