Chris at Salas Windshield Repair provided outstanding service! I called on a Sunday at 8:30 AM, and he showed up the very same day at 12:45 PM. I called Chris for a quote on my 2017 Ford F150 truck that had a new crack in the windshield - from what, I have no idea. He was able to find the appropriate Ford factory replacement windshield from my license plate, and responded with a very reasonable quote within 5 minutes that beat my insurance deductible. We set an appointment for him to come to my home the following afternoon for the installation. He showed up on time and did a meticulous job replacing the windshield. It looks perfect and I am happy with the work! I highly recommend him and plan to share his info with my friends and family. Thank you, Chris, for being disciplined and great at what you do. May your business continue to succeed with your attention to detail, positive attitude, and exceptional communication and service. read more

I love that he comes to our place. He has fixed the windshield in both of our cars. I highly recommend his service.

This should be everybody in Escondido's window crack guy! This is the second time I've had him come to fill a windshield chip and will absolutely continue to do so in the future for any more that pop up. Christopher is reliable, professional and does a high quality job. Each time he's filled the chips in less than 30 minutes. I was debating even posting the before and after photo since the blemish is SO small after, the camera couldn't even pick up on it. That's how excellent of a job Christopher does! And compared to others in the area who offer these services, Christopher's is much more reasonably priced AND he comes to you. Don't hesitate! If you've got window chips needing filled, message or call Christopher--he's always incredibly fast to respond, give a quote and schedule. Significantly more affordable than replacing an entire windshield!!! read more

I recently discovered a crack in my windshield, and with all the heavy rain, I felt it needed to be replaced as soon as possible. I called several companies and received similar quotes, but Chris stood out because he was the only one who suggested I contact my insurance company to see if the repair might be covered. I'm not sure why I didn't think of that myself, but I'm very grateful that he did. I called my insurance company the afternoon before Christmas Eve, and Chris was able to come out to my home the very next morning--on Christmas Eve--to replace my windshield so I could safely drive to my son's house that evening. He and his coworker did an excellent job and were professional, efficient, and kind. I truly appreciate the outstanding service and will definitely be calling Chris again for any future windshield repairs. read more

On the way to work a rock hit my windshield. I have a model x and I was in shock knowing I might spend a few thousand to replace the windshield. I sent request to business on Yelp and also asked friends for recommendations. Salas windshield repair was recommended to me by a good friend who owns a tesla model 3 and had work done by him. I was able to schedule next day and had him come out to me which was a plus as I work overnight and he came over right after I get off work. This was such a convenience and communication was top tier. It took less than 45 minutes. He explained the whole process to me and explained that it wouldn't be perfect, but as close to it as possible. He said it would remind me of a small rain residue or less. The outcome was better than i expected. Great service and communication. I will also recommend him to my family and friends that need windshield repair. Keep up the good work!! read more

Bickety-bam, thank you ma'am! Damn am I glad I found Chris at Salas. I had a nasty chip in my trucks windshield that a previous auto glass dude had told me I needed some special contraption to fix. well, that sounded weird to me, so I looked up my man Chris here, and less than an hour later, I had a fixed windshield for 1/2 the price the original shop was going to charge me. Chris came to my place, set up in my driveway, fixed my windshield, and looked damn good the whole time doing it. He left my truck cleaner than how I left it with him, and the crack is fixed. I'm a happy camper. read more
