I don't usually write reviews but I made a Yelp account just to leave this one. I had my windshield replaced through insurance and found them through the GEICO app since they are one of their referred glass shops. I had a horrible experience before with Safelite so I was a little worried, but I noticed Connect Auto Glass right across the street and decided to give them a try. Best decision I made. They made the whole process easy and handled everything with the insurance. No stress at all. The price was more than fair for the quality of work and service I got. Definitely great value. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable. The work was done fast and it looks perfect. If you need a windshield replacement I definitely recommend them. They really take care of their customers. read more

I'd like to take this time to leave a review that is long overdue. This is my husbands second time bringing in my 2020 Nissan Sentra for a windshield replacement. Mario was very quick to respond and took care of us. The quality and professionalism is top notch and I highly recommend this place. Great value for sure. Thank you very much. YA GIRL WAS STRUGGGGGLING.....LONG OVERDUE FIVE STAR REVIEW, ok listen. My Kia 2026 had a 4 week or MORE wait for a windshield. And the owner was updating me and keeping me in the loop. Even sent screenshots and had all the information to make me feel represented. I am a woman, 35, sure an adult but I don't know anything about cars. This company, and he himself, made it so easy. Kia, did not. But he did. I was able to have someone take my car in while I was gone and she said she was greeted by name (even though it wasn't me we happen to share the same name so it worked) and he was done in an hour? Maybe a bit more. But she even talked about how friendly and easy it was. The process sucks, let it suck less with connect auto glass. (If you use that slogan lemme know) read more

I had my windshield replaced here for $180 after it cracked. Unfortunately, the replacement windshield had severe optical distortion (warping) along the sides that noticeably affected visibility, especially when turning. I returned immediately, and the shop agreed to try another windshield. After waiting several days, I brought my car back for a second replacement. The second windshield had the same distortion. When I returned again to discuss the issue, I was told this was "just the way it is" and that all available windshields would have the same problem. I explained that the distortion was distracting and affected my ability to drive safely, but my request for a refund or another solution was refused. I appreciated that they initially attempted to replace the windshield, but I'm very disappointed that the issue remains unresolved and that my concerns about visibility and safety were dismissed. read more

I had a great experience with Connect Auto Glass. From start to finish, the process was smooth, and the customer service was excellent. Mario was especially helpful--he kept me updated throughout the repair, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was done right. The workmanship was clean, the installation was completed on time, and my vehicle looked perfect when I picked it up. It's hard to find a shop that's both professional and honest, but Connect Auto Glass definitely delivered. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs auto glass repair or replacement. read more

Extremely rude on the phone. Would not answer simple questions about the warranty on the glass. When I started asking more specific questions about the warranty he eventually hung up on me read more

Update: a piece of sealing rubber started flapping on my windshield (pictured) right after I called about the scratch. I took my car back in and was met with anger and rudeness from the get go. I didn't even mention the scratch, as I did not expect that to be fixed. I was told that the rubber will continue to come off because my car is 8 years old. When I asked why this issue wasn't addressed with the replacement process, I was met with further anger to the point where I said I felt it necessary to call a friend because I felt unsafe. I was then told I wasn't welcome there and that my windshield wouldn't be fixed. I'm very disappointed and see that others have been given this same treatment. Do NOT come here. The customer service was great and service was prompt - I was able to get in on the same day that I called. The price was also very reasonable and matched the quote I was given. I did notice at the end of my drive home that there was a small scratch on the inside of my new windshield that I didn't notice before I left the shop, as I didn't see it until it caught the sun. It is quite small, but I did just pay for a brand new windshield and I expected it to be spotless. I called the next morning to discuss it and was met with zero apologies or effort to fix the situation in any way. I explained that it's on the inside of the windshield and it could not have occurred from anything on the drive; it is clearly a scratch from handling. I was told that it became only my responsibility the second I left the lot. I guess I'll be more careful in inspecting work next time I take my car in, but it definitely will not be to this shop. read more

Happy ending! A lifetime warranty on both parts and labor. i.e. leaks or air noise. Big surprise! Mario was quick and efficient, has great communication skills, and was extremely polite. Mario arrived on time at my location and at my convenience, and my windshield was replaced in just under an hour. I was pleased and I'm not easily pleased. read more

Super fast and efficient service! Will definitely come again and recommend to everyone!

Great place to take your vehicle to get a window or windshield replaced! Mario did a great job of walking me through potential options to replace my broken windshield. I found out that I would be able to have my broken windshield replaced by my insurance company WITHOUT it impacting my insurance rates. Sharing this information with me literally saved me hundreds of dollars that I would have otherwise paid out of pocket for. After a month of having my car back with it's replaced windshield, it's holding up perfectly. I am very happy with my experience over at Connect Auto Glass. read more

Connect Autoglass is a fantastic service here in the Miramar, San Diego area. I initially contacted the owner, Mario on a late Monday to inquire about fixing my busted windshield. He picked up the phone first try and gave me a quote and timeline on the spot. I called back later, agreed, and they got the job done by Wednesday before noon! They even cleaned all the broken glass inside and it smells great. Overall, Mario and his team were extremely prompt, transparent, and kind people who did the job right for a great price. I am so grateful; I will recommend Mario and his team to my friends and family. Shoutout to Alex for the excellent referral! read more

I went with this company because they quoted about $10-$20 less than others to fix a starburst chip in my windshield. Turns out, you get what you pay for, as the process for filling in a chip can involve lots of care and time, heat application, drying, resin maneuvering, or you can just do a fast job. They spent very little time, only 15 mins. The chip looked better when it was first completed, but within 10 minutes of driving away, the starburst immediately reappeared. We called the company while on the road and were brusquely told that we took a chance, it just didn't work and they don't guarantee anything. They didn't offer to look at it again or put the $50 we paid towards a windshield replacement. I wouldn't use this company again. read more

Great customer service! Was fast and our windshield looks better than expected! Would definitely recommend!

The window repair they did has been falling apart since. The rubber on the windows has been nonexistent and the window itself is falling apart. Very unhappy with the quality of work. I do not recommend this company for window repairs. read more

Mario did an outstanding job repairing the rear window of my Lexus RX350. He is an honest individual that is quick, professional, and extremely easy to work with! I went with Connect Auto Glass bc they offer Mobile services + + +. His pricing was very reasonable (accepts Venmo, very convenient for me), and the quality of his service truly stood out. Save your precious time, I highly recommend Connect Auto Glass for any auto glass needs! UPDATE: Listen to Mario! Don't remove the blue painter tape for at least a few days or unless your vehicle is parked outdoors. The sun needs to do its thing, let the adhesive natural stick and set so that the rubber around the glass can flush to the frame of your vehicle! read more

Great level of communication from the beginning to the end. There was an immediate need on my part and there was an immediate day available. Laid out clear expectations for the service and what areas were going to be needed to replaced in my van. We had a brief tour around the van so that we'd be clear on what work needed to be done, what prior existing scratches were around the windshield of the van, and what other areas on the interior trim that would be affected by the repair. It was quick and efficient work that was about an hour. There was an adjacent room in the facilities for those who needed to wait. It was clean, cozy, and there was a tv for ambient entertainment. Overall, really great experience and really happy with the work. The cost of my repair for the van windshield was fair and reasonable. I also learned that there is a raging debate about cure time regarding window glue and that cheap glues require curing because of it's chemical composition. read more

Mario, was a pleasure to work with. Not only was he very good at communicating when he was on his way. He explained the whole process as he was doing it. He also showed up quick, he responded quickly to my quote request and my need also, which was a plus all around in my book. Vehicle got hit with a baseball and Mario was there to get me up and running again without missing a beat. He came out to my place and worked his magic, restoring my windshield back to new. He knocked out the removal of the old broken windshield and the install of the replacement one quick. Now my car is complete and road worthy once again. His quote was on point and very reasonable compared to the rest. So for my next windshield replacement needs there is "only" one number that I need to call hands down. I trust him to care for my fleet of vehicles any day. read more

Second time using the same company, now instead of being mobile there is an office in Mira Mesa. The service is still great, Mario replaced my windshield in less than hour and I was able to sit in a very comfortable waiting room while I waited and he even offered me water and snacks. After I was finished the owner walked me through how to file the insurance claim and I was on my way. Definitely recommend using this company for anything related to auto glass. read more

I had a good first experience with Connect Auto Glass. I had used Yelp to collect quotes regarding a windshield replacement for a 2003 Toyota. Mario provided one of the more affordable quotes and had better availability compared to others. I was able to get an appointment at their location for the next morning after replying in the app. The location was conveniently located in the Miramar/Mira Mesa area. The waiting area was comfortable, quiet, and clean. My windshield was ready within an hour. They accepted card or cash as payment. I would go back again if needed. read more

Had my windshield cracked on Saturday. Sent out a yelp request and Mario from Connect Auto glass responded quickly and gave me options and how to go through insurance. Set up the appointment for Monday first thing. The techs showed up to my home, on time and ready to go. They were done in about an hour. The tech explained everything and what I needed to do. The customer service was beyond what I expected. Will definitely be recommending them to people. If I unfortunately have to go through broken glass again, they will be the first one to call. I contacted a few companies for quotes to get my windshield replaced. Mario was the quickest to respond and was the best priced. It was an even greater plus that he's mobile because my kids are out of school for the summer and it would be difficult for me to take them with me to a shop and wait for the work to be done. He was able to come to my home the next morning and was very friendly and professional. He noticed my windshield was not the original and that whoever put it on did sloppy work that created rust underneath. He knew just how to take care of it and was able to remove the rust so that he could properly put the new windshield on. It was clear that he is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work.
