I contacted Sam to inquire first about filling a chip. He responded promptly and with reasonable pricing. In the few days between that and me getting down to the shop, I had something (a tool? A rock?) fly into my windshield on the 163, leaving a hole almost the circumference of the bottom of a soda can. This would require a full windshield replacement. I contacted Sam, then my insurance. Sam tried to get OEM glass but of course Progressive declined. Regardless, Sam managed the filing of the claim in a 3-way call with me and Progressive, then we set the appointment right away. I was able to do my computer work in their waiting room while I waited. Sam and his partner switched out the glass in less than two hours, leaving my SUV spotless. The glass is calibrated and all of the features still work perfectly. It is not often you find a business that goes above and beyond, but this is one of three I've found in SD (another one is Wizard of Water Heaters, and I've since found a clock repair shop in El Cajon that is amazing- DM me if needed! ;-)). Sam & co. did an amazing job! The chip width beforehand was about the size of a penny, maybe slightly larger. After the repair, it's down to about the size of grain of rice. Excellent service! Yesterday morning while on the 163 a van kicked up a rock causing a bullseye chip on my windshield. Sadly, not my first time. However, this was my first using My Auto Glass. I used the Yelp services on here to send out a quote for repairs and they were one of five to answer. They had the best quote and worked with me to bring it in on my schedule. Took maybe 30-40 minutes and chip fixed. They warned me it won't be perfect. They did an amazing job and you can barely see it. I tried to take before and after pictures but the after picture didn't come out well because you cannot really see it they had done that good of a job.
