Caffe Ladro - Downtown Pine

**Piroshky Piroshky, Pike Place Market**…read more We stopped in around 11am on a Saturday before our Starbucks reservation, and I was surprised to walk right up with no line. My two girlfriends and I split the hash brown, bacon, egg and cheese piroshky, which was the right call. It's hearty enough that a third each was a solid snack to get something in our stomachs before a morning of caffeine. It's exactly as advertised and delicious. The pastry is soft and the filling is generous, with plenty of bacon and hash browns in every bite. It ran a little salty for my taste, but I'd chalk that up to how much bacon they pack in rather than a flaw in the recipe. The best endorsement I can give is that we went back again the next morning.

It looked a bit long, but once you got in line, it actually moved fairly quickly! I got to the front in about 15 minutes, and there were about 15 people ahead of me. I got a few items on the list: their classic beef and cheese, chicken curry and rice Piroshky, and their bacon egg and cheese Piroshky. The food came out literally within a minute as they were coming out quickly, the ambiance was fast pace, take your order move to the next person, get your food and pay! I thought the bacon egg and cheese one was okay, the chicken curry and rice was pretty darn good, but the classic beef and cheese, mmmmmm you just can't say no. Next time i'll be ordering a bunch more, because 12 was not enough!

The matcha I would say is my second favorite. The flavor of the matcha syrup is definitely lighter compared to the hojicha but still is a nice compliment to the soft serve. I recently visited Coffee Ladro and had an incredible experience that I just have to share! From the moment I stepped into the cafe, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help me choose the perfect drink to satisfy my cravings. I decided to try the rose latte, and I was blown away by how delicious it was! Unlike some other cafes that serve overly sweet and artificial-tasting flavored drinks, this latte had a perfect balance of light rose flavor that complemented the espresso perfectly. It wasn't too sweet, which was a pleasant surprise, and the texture of the foam was perfectly creamy and velvety. Another standout feature of this coffee shop was the Medici, which had a lovely orange zest flavor that was both refreshing and aromatic. It was clear that the coffee was made with care and attention to detail, and the quality of the beans was evident in every sip. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone who is looking for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious coffee that is made with care and attention to detail. Whether you're in the mood for a classic latte or something a little more unique, this coffee shop has something for everyone. Don't hesitate to check it out - you won't be disappointed! read more
