Kombucha on tap
Jacques I.

I wanted to like Urban Coffee House more than I had, but found my drink to be A-OK. I ordered a beet latte, as I saw a sign for it and was interested in trying something different. I mean, I'm a fan of beets, so why not try it in a drink form? We visited in the late afternoon, so had the whole coffee house to ourselves, which was nice, since space is on the smaller side. There's mostly bar seating by the window. Located around Westlake, the location can't be beat, as it's accessible and easy to get to, with plenty of public transit around. The beet latte however, was unfortunately, bland. I assumed I would taste some beet flavor, but did not at all. I know it was there though, since my latte was pink from the beet powder. Just was stumped as to why I couldn't taste it. I do like though that they have milk alternatives, like oat milk and kombucha on tap. The employee who helped us was also super friendly and personable. I'd give this place another try, especially since they offer a Yelp check-in offer of 20% off any drink and I'm around the area a lot. Therefore, hope to have better luck next time.

Loved this little coffee stop! We were walking across Seattle and needed a little stop to escape some light drizzle during our walk. This place was great. The lady who made the coffee was super friendly and made our drinks fast. I had an iced vanilla latte which was very good. My boyfriend enjoyed his iced americano. They have a standard coffee menu and dairy alternatives. I would definitely come here again.

The coffee, the service, and the vibe are all excellent. I fully recommend this shop when visiting Seattle.

What a great little place! My coworkers and I stumbled upon this coffee shop and thought their "beet latte" ad looked intriguing, so why not go in and give it a try? Super laid back vibe, simple decor with bar seating across the window. This is definitely a grab & go type of coffee shop, though we did see someone working on their laptop, so there's that. I ordered the 12 oz. cappuccino with nonfat milk instead of my usual soy, and my friend got the beet latte with nonfat milk. The barista, Nathan, was super friendly and accommodated our requests for latte art and answered our questions knowledgeably as well. He even brought us cups of ice to transfer our drinks into it (after we took pretty photos of the hot cups, I know!), which was super thoughtful. The latte was pretty standard, so no complaints there. But it also didn't "wow" me. I tried a sip of my friend's beet latte and it was fine, the flavor is a bit plain though.

Nice little coffee shop about a block away from Westlake Center! We stopped by here this past weekend for some coffee while we were waiting for a spot at Lola (a nearby restaurant for brunch). The baristas were super helpful and friendly, explaining the different types of coffee drinks to us -- I had no idea there was such a thing as a wet or dry cappuccino! I ordered a wet cappuccino (a.k.a. less foam, more milk) with oat milk. I appreciated they had various non-dairy milk options, as some coffee shops still don't provide that. The cappuccino was delicious and a perfect pick-me-up. Highly recommend!

This coffee shop is so amazing!!! I was in Seattle for the weekend and needed some coffee for walking around downtown. Stopped in this cute, urban coffee shop that is also a yoga studio. The barista was incredible. He was so friendly, personal and made the morning so fun. Now to the coffee... 10/10. It was unique and so much better than stopping at like a Starbucks. It's exactly what we were looking for! We are a range including americanos, lattes and black coffee. They also had food options like burritos or yogurt cups. If you are looking for a fun, local coffee joint, please check this place out!!!

The barista was very nice and welcoming. Otherwise it wasn't a good experience. Ordered a medium latte with hazelnut syrup. I swear all I got was hot milk. Figured it was in my head (coffee snob thoughts), but my sister said the same thing about her drink. It had a small amount of coffee in comparison to all the milk, think if I got a small or even a double shot it would've been better ( maybe). Couldn't even taste the hazelnut flavoring at all. Sorry but no. Cute basic shop with a friendly staff. Baaaad coffee.

Urban coffee house is the first coffee stop we made while in Seattle. The coffee was delicious and rich. And the service was great! They also had a cute little "creative corner" with stuff for kids and adult to color while we wait.

Interesting coffee, very different taste. Liked that it didn't cause acidity. Tried macchiato. Service was great

I think there are much better coffee shops close by. This one is located in the lobby of a yoga studio and seems to be there more out of convience than having good coffee or service. It's definitely a grab and go place - don't expect a good spot to sit down and enjoy your drink. While it wasn't a bad coffee, it seemed a bit stale and underwhelming.

Ask the Community - Urban Coffee House

Is this a good cafe to bring a laptop and work from? Are there power outlets around?

Yes, I️ have worked there before heading to yoga. There is a power outlet next to one of the drink rails by the corner and is a great little private workspace. Also, there is free WiFi.

I ended up visiting the second time because of their very cool merch selection, and I regretted not buying a shirt I liked the first time. I only tried the espresso here, though they had many other tasty-sounding drinks and delicious-looking pastries. The espresso was not bitter, well-balanced, and at a great temperature. I first tried the turon matcha which I thought was good but had a mild banana flavor. I was expecting more of a caramelized flavor but I still thought it was good. The next day, I ordered the matcha einspanner. Their housemade yoka whip was so yummy and added the perfect amount of sweetness to the matcha latte. Overall, the matcha here is smooth and both drinks weren't too sweet.

We went around 11 in the morning, and it was PACKEDDDD. The inside was completely full, and there was even a line out the door, so I honestly didn't think our group of 4 would find seating. The line moved really fast tho, and we managed to grab one of the viet style low table and chair setups that you'd typically see on the street back home, I liked it a lot. Drinks: 1 phe muoi $6.75 1 matcha einspanner $8.75 1 earl grey matcha $9 1 banana pudding matcha latte $11 1 hojicha latte $6.50 Their matcha was smooth, no astringency, I wished it was more matcha taste bc it's a little light but that's just me bc I like umami matcha. Food: Phe Sliders $13 MUSTTTT GET!! My group absolutely devoured these. The rolls were soft and airy, and somehow the sliders still felt light and not too heavy. The aioli was sooooo yum we scrape every bits of it lolllll. I'd honestly come back just for this dish alone. xoi chay $15- Really good breakfast option. The sticky rice was soft and chewy, and all of the toppings came together really well. Easily my new favorite spot.
