When our order came out there had been some confusion with the tortillas and the manager Chris personally ran in and remade the correct ones. (That's right they make the tortillas there!) Tiny, tiny protein portions on bowls, especially this location. Can't be more than a couple ounces. WAY less than Chipotle, Uberitto, etc. Also, personally don't care for any of their salsa's. Service can be slow as well since they seem to prioritize online and to-go orders while customers stand in line. read more

Cabo bobs was one of my fav places to eat back in college and I'm so glad they're opening up locations all over htx ! This place has a similar concept to chipotle but more options and better quality. The tortillas come in diff flavors and are made fresh on the press. My go to order is the fried fish tacos topped with a bunch of fresh veggies & mango pickles & of course you have to get the chipotle crema & 66red sauce ! The brisket is also v good. If I'm feeling extra hungry I'll get a side of queso and chips. Also the burritos are FATT. Overall a solid option if you want something quick & filling ! read more

If you order from home online and then come pick it up, that is fine but you can't order from the drive-through window. You have to order online then it says your order will be ready in 15-20 min. Ordered the steak bowl. Big tender chunks of steak. Love the smokiness and charred flavor on the bell peppers and eggplants as well. It was my first time trying baja beans and they were a delightful variety. The only odd thing was that the hot tomatillo salsa... was not spicy at all, and I'm saying this as someone who can't handle spice (but I'm learning). First time visiting this location. An employee stole by silently adding a tip, and then covered it up by saying they couldn't print my receipt when I questioned the extra ~ $12. I talked to the manager, who seemed very unconcerned about the theft and simply re-ran the transaction to remove the extra charges. The food is fine. They have an employee working here who steals, and the manager doesn't seem to care. No matter how good the food may be, that's a dealbreaker for me, and I won't be back. For reference, if Cabo Bob's management ever decides they care about dishonest employees: Transaction #77, 10/22/22 12:34pm. The transaction was re-run maybe 10-15 minutes later with the correct amount, so look at the transaction history to see the prior version with all the extra charges and tip added. read more

First time here, came for breakfast and LOOK OUT! Tacos were incredible! Not sure where they have been all my life. They say the tortillas make the difference, and they sure don't hurt. The atmosphere is super chill and the folks working seem genuinely happy you are there. Will be back for lunch for certain! Cannot recommend enough. read more

Family had already tried and liked it so I had to see if I could agree. Very bright, clean, & cheerful welcoming atmosphere. Music played a bit loud, but tolerable. You go through like Freebirds or Chipotle, but then that's where the real difference comes in. It's freshly made right in front of you. The tacos and burritos are cooked to order. Perfect teamwork from staff and I can't say enough about the taste! Dang! It was great! I had veggie tacos and the boyfriend had the Best Steak Burrito. Both were plentiful and fantastic! Such a love - disappoint relationship with Cabo Bobs. Another breakfast order not correct. It is so hard to love breakfast tacos but can't stand scrambled eggs. Again ordered tacos with no eggs and they are loaded with eggs. I have had a food aversion to scrambled eggs that has lasted 18 years. I can't even look at them and my tacos are full of them. There is over a solid cup of eggs per taco touching everything. The smell is nauseating. read more

The first time you will learn..be careful when slathering on the toppings....liquid queso and guac are extras. Love the options. Salad, burrito, bowl or tacos. I choose bowl. It is basically a salad, just not so heavy on lettuce. I love my greens, but i want a variety of vegs pls. Bowl with the fried fish. It is always cooked fresh when i go. Small half scoop of rice for me please, double beans (black and pinto), Lettuce, squash, grilled onions, poblano peppers, sour cream, pico, mango pico, and many other options.... They put the fish on top. They ask you for a dressing....i get the fish dipping sauce on the side. Honestly my bowl doesn't need any sauce...the toppings are all moist and flavorful. The BF always a burrito. Freshly made burrito tortilla. Filled with the same topping options. He gets chicken normally. When we eat, i think they are both massive options. And prob quite similar in size. Def a great bargain for under $10/ea without the $$ extras. Hard to eat for that price nowadays.....for really good food..... Staff always going above and beyond. Been frequenting Cabo Bobs quite often for their deluxe fish tacos. The ancho chili and 66 sauces are just amazing. I skip the cabbage and substitute with some grilled onions. Amazing flavors with the guac, mango salsa, cheese, onions all mixed. Make sure to ask for freshly fried fish, makes a big difference. read more

All of the ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality (not once have I gotten an icky piece of chicken). The employees are always friendly, helpful, give good portions, and remember return customers. The rewards program (stamp card: once you order six entrees you get one free or a free T-shirt) is great (and they don't make you download an app to use it... others take note!)
