Tried Cabo Bobs last night with my husband. I think they still have kinks to work out since it's new and I'm sure they are still training people. But the food was really good. We forgot to take photos of the food. Lol. He got a queso and brisket burrito and loved it. Had big chunks of brisket. I got chicken nachos. I asked if they came with anything on them and the lady at the "drive thru" said yes....but none of that came on it. I guess you have to order them kinda like a chipotle or freebirds where you ask for what you want on the nachos. They were still good just with chicken, beans and queso. We got Jarritos soda which is always good. And I think they accidentally gave us some fish tacos so of course we ate them. Not sure which fish taco it was but it had rice, black beans and fried fish. I have been seeing reviews on this spot and since I love freebirds I knew I would like it here. It's still pretty new so the workers seemed all over the place but they still got the job done. The tortillas come in diff flavors and are made fresh on the press. My go to order is the fried fish tacos topped with a bunch of fresh veggies & mango pickles & of course you have to get the chipotle crema & 66red sauce ! The brisket is also v good. First time visiting this location. An employee stole by silently adding a tip, and then covered it up by saying they couldn't print my receipt when I questioned the extra ~ $12. I talked to the manager, who seemed very unconcerned about the theft and simply re-ran the transaction to remove the extra charges. The food is fine. They have an employee working here who steals, and the manager doesn't seem to care. No matter how good the food may be, that's a dealbreaker for me, and I won't be back. First time here, came for breakfast and LOOK OUT! Tacos were incredible! Not sure where they have been all my life. They say the tortillas make the difference, and they sure don't hurt. Such a love - disappoint relationship with Cabo Bobs. Another breakfast order not correct. It is so hard to love breakfast tacos but can't stand scrambled eggs. Again ordered tacos with no eggs and they are loaded with eggs. I have had a food aversion to scrambled eggs that has lasted 18 years. I can't even look at them and my tacos are full of them. It is basically a salad, just not so heavy on lettuce. I love my greens, but i want a variety of vegs pls. Bowl with the fried fish. It is always cooked fresh when i go. Small half scoop of rice for me please, double beans (black and pinto), Lettuce, squash, grilled onions, poblano peppers, sour cream, pico, mango pico, and many other options.... They put the fish on top. They ask you for a dressing....i get the fish dipping sauce on the side. Honestly my bowl doesn't need any sauce...the toppings are all moist and flavorful. The BF always a burrito. Freshly made burrito tortilla. Filled with the same topping options. He gets chicken normally. When we eat, i think they are both massive options. And prob quite similar in size. Def a great bargain for under $10/ea without the $$ extras. Hard to eat for that price nowadays.....for really good food..... Staff always going above and beyond. Been frequenting Cabo Bobs quite often for their deluxe fish tacos. The ancho chili and 66 sauces are just amazing. I skip the cabbage and substitute with some grilled onions.
