Another incredible Cabo Bobs location. Freshly Pressed and cooked tortilla with super high quality ingredients and a portion sizes that will leave you with a 2 pound burrito for about $13. This place is incredible, a personal favorite, overall 10/10 experience. There will be a line but trust it's worth it, do come and leave Chipotle and other fast food places in the past: restaurant is clean and service is friendly. I started eating at Cabo Bob's when I lived in Austin. I'm thankful we have a Katy location! I'm always greeted by friendly faces when I walk in and the food is always hot and fresh! Today I picked up an online order. I ordered a kids meal since trying to cut down my meal portions and this is absolutely one of the best kids meals around! This is one of the best restaurants to come to Katy. I absolutely love it and you get so much bang for your buck. In this restaurant, you come in and you go through the line and order what you would like and they will fill your order as you watch. They are very friendly and they will answer any questions that you have and not make you feel stupid for asking. I have tried the burrito, the tacos, the quesadilla, and when they had breakfast, their breakfast tacos were amazing. You have your choices of four different types of tortillas, you get two or three choices of beans and they have amazing cilantro rice. If you want extra of any vegetable or rice or beans, they are very accommodating for what you would like. I have certain food, allergies, and they always work with me and make it very easy and friendly. The steak and chicken is cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. They have one of the best queso I have ever tasted. You can get a small or a large, which which comes with tortilla chips which by the way are amazing. They also offer many different choices of sodas and iced tea. For dessert, they have four choices of brownie and different cookies and each one is better than the next. Period I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be sorry that you went there and you will be hooked by the first visit. They are always busy, which shows that everybody in this area knows that that food is phenomenal. Decided to spoil myself this weekend with a monster burrito with one of the most amazing addicting hot sauce ever. I think if you haven't given Cabo's a try and you're a big fan of a similar Mexican build-your-bowl/burrito (Chipotle) you're definitely missing out. Now if you think I'm saying something crazy like Cabo has better ingredients/portions/prices then you're absolutely right. First off, you gotta do the burrito. Like the sheer size and texture of that tortilla is unreal. Oh yeah and there's different flavors. THATS RIGHT. Different flavored tortillas freshly pressed in front of your eyes. Then the meats. You got your standard chicken and steak but tell me chopped brisket doesn't make your mouth water. And for the pescatarians, there's fish!! But tbh it's not the meats/rice/beans that make a major difference in my mind. It's the toppings/sauces/salsa. So many new options and toppings that you can fill to your hearts content!! Just to name a few. Chopped onions. Mango pico. 66 red sauce (must). Chipotle crema. Jalapeño bits. Cilantro. Lime juice. Like hello? Now ofc guac is extra along with queso and I get it. But tbh if you skip on those two it really doesn't make a difference. Like be for real, would you rather a monster burrito with guacamole and queso for $15 or a monster burrito for $10? I don't bout you but an extra $5 in my pocket tastes a lot better than guac and queso. Service is always quick and friendly and ambiance is aight like little surf shop that serves burritos and taco kind of vibe. But you're not going there for the ambiance let's be real. Ordered online and one burrito was pretty good. The second one was burnt pretty bad so apparently the employees don't care. When i opened the burrito it had charred burnt marks everywhere so they definitely used the inside to hide it. It is awful and tastes like burnt food. Not going back. What is wrong with the new generation working? As far as flavor goes they are probably my favorite burrito. The Ancho tortilla is delicious with the cheddar coming a close second. Their chips are a little on the hefty side but I just throw the queso on my burrito instead. Now as far as rolling a burrito....dear lord its a disaster wrapped in tin foil. Next time I'll just have them hand it to me on the tray unrolled so I can do it myself. It never fails I have to unwrap it and recollection it so I don't have strata of ingredients. Phenomenal. I first tried Cabo bob's in Austin during my freshman year of college. My life has forever been changed since then. I was thrilled to know there was a location in Houston, then later, Katy. I've tried basically everything on their menu LOL. You really can't go wrong with anything you order from there. From their bowls to burritos to tacos to quesadillas, my favorite is their deluxe fish tacos, which includes the following toppings: mango pico, shredded cabbage, guacamole, cheese, lime, chipotle crema. The fish is the best, it's always so crispy and fresh. The whole combination is delightful. They call it deluxe for a reason. Super refreshing w the pico. To add a little kick to it, I like to add the 66 red sauce. The chips and queso are pretty much a necessity as well. Their chips are so thick and crunchy. Their queso seemed to be extra runny today but still delicious! I usually opt for the regular size bc that itself is already a lot. They're super generous with the amount of chips they give. Sometimes feels like it's never ending. Truly, no matter which location I go to, the food always slaps. The Katy location is pretty big though with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating plus a drive thru. Fast and friendly service! It wasn't too busy during the hour we visited. My favorite things is a cheddar cheese wrapping with brisket that they smoke in house and lots of toppings. If you bring back the cup they give you a discount on your drink and if you do the punch card you can get a free t shirt which we might have a while collection of at this point. Upon arrival at 8 PM on a Friday night, there was a long line of hungrypeople wanting to order. No worries as the line move rather quickly. Food come out pretty quickly and it's delicious for the price you paid. Just make sure you got all of your orders. Brownies are not made in the house but pretty good. All you tree nut allergens, beware when getting their brownies since no one seem to know what is in it or if there's any cross-termination and someone in my group may have had a slight allergy to something they ate here. Drinks... I usually don't comment on their side drinks but you should try their mint tea! Definitely minty and I like to mix it with unsweetened tea. Overall a good experience with plenty of parking. Locked their doors at 8:26PM on Monday (3/2) signage says they are open till 9:05PM. Multiple potential customers drove up and left due to this. While I would understand closing the doors at 9, but over 35 minutes early? Great way to lose customers permanently and put a bad taste in people's mouths because employees want to go home early. This place is my go-to for burritos at least n plan to visit closer locations. I ordered the # 9 at the drive-thru, bc it appealed to me with all its ingredients and it was awesome, very delicious n filling. The green tortilla was thick n fresh with a subtle hint of some flavor to it. The chicken in the burrito was very nicely seasoned with chargrilled taste and good moisture without any dryness or bland parts. The guac, mango pieces, cream and rice were all great in the burrito. I really like Cabo Bob's Burritos. It's an elevated chipotle with more options and a beachy vibe. I love that they press and cook the tortilla right when you order and you have an option of different types. Today I ordered the cilantro tomatillo (green one) and it was excellent with my chicken burrito. Also recommend the Baja beans and chipotle crema sauce (really makes the burrito). Don't forget some sauces or your burrito might be a little dry. My husband didn't get any and he said it was dry but still tasty. He liked mine way more and the main difference was sour cream plus chipotle crema. My daughter likes there cheese quesadillas made with a buttermilk flour tortilla. It is a good size compared to the tiny ones at chipotle. It comes with tortilla chips, but not a drink. There fountain drinks have real cane sugar sodas, diet Dr Pepper , Diet Coke, sweet and unsweetened teas and Gatorade. Lots of options, but the real cane sugar drinks are a treat. If they had grilled fish tacos, I would be in heaven. I don't remember seeing an option for grilled. They were deep fried. read more

My new controlled addiction! I could never order delivery or order online for this place. I have to go in and stand in line to tell them everything I want on my Burrito/taco/Bowl. I have to visually see the ingredients and tell them how much of each I want. I love the different tortilla choices that you can pick from. I also love the fact that they press them right in front of you. My favorite tortilla is the Smokey Cheddar. I also like the Ancho Chili Tortilla. They are so thin and light. Yumm!! We only paid around $24 for everything pictured- total 6 tacos and chips and queso. I ordered the Baja Fish Tacos and got to pick the toppings with it. I recommend the Chipotle Crema sauce for your tacos. I loved that they had fresh pressed made-to-order tortillas and different flavors to choose from: buttermilk flour, cilantro tomatillo, ancho chili, smoky cheddar, or corn tortilla. Tried Cabo Bobs last night with my husband. I think they still have kinks to work out since it's new and I'm sure they are still training people. But the food was really good. We forgot to take photos of the food. Lol. He got a queso and brisket burrito and loved it. Had big chunks of brisket. I got chicken nachos. I asked if they came with anything on them and the lady at the "drive thru" said yes....but none of that came on it. I guess you have to order them kinda like a chipotle or freebirds where you ask for what you want on the nachos. They were still good just with chicken, beans and queso. We got Jarritos soda which is always good. And I think they accidentally gave us some fish tacos so of course we ate them. Not sure which fish taco it was but it had rice, black beans and fried fish.
