Woah! I had their Self titled (BurgerFi) cheeseburger. First off their buns had BurgerFi written on which I thought was super unique. The meat is very thick and juicy with a side of flavorful fries. BurgerFi is now our go-to Burger joint in East MoCo. Pros: -Burger is a solid 5/5 for sure. Juicy/well cooked. -Onion rings are awesome. -Shakes are good, with the exception of vanilla. -For a fast-food burger joint, it has good seating. Cons: -Fries, although I admit I have only tried them once. They had no taste whatsoever. The quality of the burger makes up for it. -Price: the sides are pricey in particular. -Cheese options. Notice to all burger joints: You are not a 5 star burger joint if you do not carry pepper jack cheese!! Tip: If you are in a rush call, or go online if the option is available, and order in advance. The wait time on-site can get pretty long. Not a con since it takes time to make good food. read more

I've been to BurgerFi many times and they are definitely consistent. The burgers are great. I was surprised by the fries which are surprisingly good. They serve beer on tap as well. Definitely a good choice to go with a group or alone. Outdoor seating is comfortable and mostly covered from rain/sunshine. Don't get me started on the milkshakes, especially the Oreo and Red Velvet...AMAZING. Went there for a church fundraiser recently and LOVED it. Have tried it twice; once on weekend, today at lunch. The burgers were excellent; as were the shakes. On the down side, both times service was slow; there was a line to place the order, and the line moved slowly. If you order a shake, you end up waiting again even after they buzz you that you order is ready. And the prices are a bit high. I am quite familiar with Five Guys and Elevation; like both also, but the service is always good at both. I hope that BurgerFi will improve the service. I would give them a second chance to be sure, but I really wasn't all that impressed... because of the burger itself. Ordered the CEO, fries, onion rings, and an oreo milkshake. My friends had the CEO and fries. We were all happy with the fries. Onion rings were bland - I ate two bites and left the rest for the vultures (those would not be my adult friends, for the record). Oreo milkshake was fine but TOO SMOOTH! It was very thick but mostly devoid of the yummy little chunks of cookie that I love chewing on when sucking down a delicious milkshake between burger and fry bites - obviously this is a personal thing. The most disappointing, however, was the CEO burger itself - and all three adults agreed. The double patty was juicy enough (unlike other burger joints when the patty is dry - yuck), and the bun was a nice consistency, but for what it was supposed to be, the burger was surprisingly bland. My friend (who has an excellent palate) poured hot sauce all over his burger - that's a very bad sign considering this burger was advertised with bacon-truffle jam. We checked, and the jam was there, but it was a small dollop in the middle that did pretty much nothing for our taste buds when we smeared it around. I would be willing to try a regular old cheeseburger as a second chance there, but I definitely do NOT recommend the CEO. I would also hold off on the milkshake - or maybe bring one from elsewhere (gasp). Half-sad face. read more

I came in last week to get a grilled chicken burger and fries. I waited for 20 minutes for my take out order, which was annoying but not even the main issue. The issue was my chicken was raw. I wish I had tried it before I left the restaurant. I came to my apartment and tried eating the burger and it was literally tough, uncooked chicken. The inside of the chicken was pink. I wish I took a picture and kept the receipt but I threw everything out. Absolutely disgusting. read more

today is our 2nd burgerfi meal... our 1st time in silver spring :). great service!! melanie introduced herself as the 'person who would be taking care of our order.' :).. meal was served quickly & all the same temp.. little touches, like the chairs facing 1/2 way out from the table.. inviting us to sit down :).. & the to-go box for our fries is as cute as chinese-food take out containers :). every corner of our experience sparkled. kayla adds so much to the service & ambiance of the silver spring location. the management would be wise to move her into a consulting position - impacting all of their locations with her zest & ideas. read more

Terrible in every way. We had not eaten here before and were excited to try it. Due to cold weather we ordered for delivery, paying a huge fee for the convenience. The food was delivered in a big bag, and when we opened it we saw that the shake was not there. I immediately called the store, and the manager admitted that although they told the driver to wait for the shake, she left without it. He then tried to tell me it was my responsibility to track down this driver--ridiculous. After I told him no, I expected either a refund or a delivery, and it was his problem to solve, there was a long wait after which he came back and promised that the driver would bring the shake. Meanwhile we had immediately started on the burgers and fries--which were very bad. Everything was completely cold and limp. The hamburger patties were thin, grey, overcooked and leathery. My burger included one leaf of wilted lettuce plus one wafer-thin tasteless slice of tomato that did not cover the patty. There was supposed to be a special "BurgerFi sauce" on it, but when I lifted the bun I could not see anything , and the whole thing had no flavor. The fries were cold, congealed, mealy and limp. The shake never was delivered (it's been over three hours). So in short, this was two burgers and a regular order of fries, with no shake despite being charged for one--and for this I paid over $38 plus a tip to the delivery person.
