My husband introduced me to this place 10 years ago, and I still love it! The food is fantastic. We visited for happy hour and enjoyed some delicious empanadas along with an excellent Argentinian wine. If you're considering it, I highly recommend going! The service is wonderful too.

The food is fine but the only vegan options are a small veggie empanada (you'll have to order several), and the spinach salad which is generous but unremarkable. My companion raved enthusiastically about the cannelloni, so there's that. On the day we visited, service was poor. Inexcusably slow and inefficient in every way. If they had more vegan options, I'd give it a second try

We rec dined at Buenos Aires Café on a Friday evening after a business meeting ran into the early evening. We had a rather large group, with a prior reservation, and we added a couple of tables to that. The restaurant easily accommodated the additional numbers. Service was great, very attentive, but not hovering. From initial glasses of ice water to final payment of the bill, everything was smooth and efficient! The restaurant has an extensive menu covering a wide variety of foods, from appetizers, soups, salads, beef, chicken, seafood, all presented with a South American flair. With such a variety available, we had a bit of a time trying to narrow it down. we settled on a split baby spinach salad as an appetizer, it was terrific. Super fresh spinach, and ample portions of all the veggies, nuts, and cheese, and a delightfully light dressing. Our shared entrées included the Canelones Caseros, two spinach-filled crêpes, wrapped and topped with a delicious vegetable sauce, marinara, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. The dish was outstanding! Our other shared entree was the Gnocchi Quartet, which consisted of four different kinds of deliciously prepared gnocchi, blended in a medley of fresh vegetables, and a light cream sauce... also a winner! The restaurant has a nice list of premium cocktails, and other libations, as well as a decent wine list. The wine list has a nice variety from around the world, but is rather limited, and that is just an observation not a complaint! We selected a very nice Pinot Grigio from the Torresello winery in Italy. It was served at the perfect temperature, iced in a bucket, and went exceedingly well with the meal we had selected. All in all an excellent meal, start to finish, especially in light of the rather large group we had. Highly recommend Buenos Aires Café for a delightful and delicious dining experience...

My partner brought me here 2 yrs ago and I love this place. The food is amazing here and I brought my sister in law here as well. She thought this place was great. I usually come here 2 times a month or at least try too. The food is so wonderful here. If you are thinking about it, I would say do it and go for it. The service is great. When my friends come this is the place I would recommend.

Met some longtime friends here this past weekend for brunch. Everyone liked what they got. I'm trying to eat healthier since I eat out a lot so the mixed green salad with anchovies was perfect for me. My daughter got their beef sandwich with the side salad. Others ate the melted cheese with bread, pumpkin gnocchi, sausage sandwich, and an Argentinian shepherd's pie equivalent dish. Our server was great and gave us solid recommendations! I've eaten at BA Cafe several times in the past and look forward to going back again!

3.5 Stars Celebrated BF's dad's birthday dinner here. Drinks were awesome. Empanadas ($6 each) were delicious - all of the flavors we tried were so flavorful (chicken, beef, and spinach). I had a few bites of the spinach canneloni ($23) with Shrimp addition ($17) and they were divine. Gnocchi ($22) with Chicken ($10 addition) was also great, marinara was light and sweet. Also had some of the filet mignon ($38 for 8 oz) and mashed potatoes ($8) - amazing. The prices are HIGH for the portions / quality. ESPECIALLY if you add a protein. They had added TVs to their space which clashes with the "classy steakhouse" vibes. That being said, food was great and it was an overall lovely experience :)

The food was amazing, we ordered a few things I included images for as well as the empanada "spicy carne" which consists of Olives, eggs and some peppers- it was sweet and and lightly spicy! We loved it. Everything was an experience. Jeff was our server and he was such a polite host, and he explained all the ingredients very well so nothing would catch us off guard. The vibes were so fun and spanish, we loved the colors, it makes it romantic but at the same time can be a very family like setting! We will definitely come back.

Located inside galleria, with indoor and outdoor seating My husband and I went here for dinner recently and we enjoyed our meal. Not pictured is his churrasco entree. It was a big meal for two since we both ordered an entree. Honestly we could've shared 1 entree from the grill. I liked the beef tenderloin from the mix the most. The mashed potato side is the move... don't skip it! I really enjoyed the wine flight so I could have a different taste with each protein option. They service was great! There was only one staff member waiting on all the tables so I was very impressed! The dessert was just what we needed to end the night. Great presentation and tastes delicious. Our meal, including alcohol cost $125 including tip.

IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO DELIGHTFULLY…read more Empanadas! Disclaimer: This is a blog I wrote last September. I still feel the same way! Argentine empanadas are famous all over the world, but if you have been to Argentina or have Argentine friends, they're impossible to miss! I was born and raised in Argentina and as a foodie, I don't go easy on my reviews--especially not on food that I love. Just a few months ago a friend of mine started a catering business, and empanadas are her specialty item. She offers ten different kinds of these savory pastry turnovers, so customers are treated to a varied and very flavorful experience. Last week, she brought a sampler platter to my office that included beef, chicken, and vegetarian options, and my colleagues and I got to taste some unique flavors. A traditional empanada's main ingredient is beef and my friend calls hers "Carne de las Pampas," or "Meat from the Plains"--coincidentally, my mom and dad greBeef empanadas.w up in La Pampa, a province known for its extensive ranches and superior-quality beef. These empanadas are filled with ground beef, onions, bell pepper, tomatoes, and a combination of spices. I really wanted to try them, but they were gone in the blink of an eye. My colleagues were licking their fingers and grinning. The "Tex-Mex" is already a favorite among Tango Delights' current clients since Austinites are used to Tex-Mex restaurants and spicy food. These empanadas are a twist of the traditional and come with jalapeños plus some secret "awesome!" spices. Spinach and Butternut Squash empanadas. My personal favorite ended up being the "Paisana," which is one of the vegetarian empanadas. The ingredients include spinach, onions, bell peppers, Parmesan cheese, more "awesome!" seasoning, and butternut squash. Just one bite had me smiling! The butternut squash in particular made this different from any other empanada I've tried, and it was marvelous. I'll definitely be ordering some of these for my next party! The other vegetarian empanada was the "Humita," and this one has corn mixed with a creamy white sauce, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and, once again, the secret-recipe seasoning. It was flavorful, rich and left me wanting more. Additional options include traditional chicken, Cajun chicken, cheese and onion, ham and cheese, hand-chopped flank steak, and a breakfast empanada with bacon. A side salad can be ordered as well and it will come with your dressing of choice. Tango Delights is looking to expand in the near future to a brick and mortar location, and I will definitely provide an update for when this happens. In the meantime, order some to enjoy with your family or bring them to your next potluck party--you're sure to be the sensation of the evening if you do!

Please note that there is indoor and outdoor dining along with free parking. Fogonero is best known for its empanadas, arepas, and other traditional Venezuelan specialties. Fogonero's plantains hit the spot. They were perfectly sweet, moist, and enjoyable to eat. The restaurant is a whole vibe. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a striking mural of the Venezuelan flag painted in vibrant colors across the wall.
