My husband introduced me to this place 10 years ago, and I still love it! The food is fantastic. We visited for happy hour and enjoyed some delicious empanadas along with an excellent Argentinian wine. If you're considering it, I highly recommend going! The service is wonderful too.

We rec dined at Buenos Aires Café on a Friday evening after a business meeting ran into the early evening. We had a rather large group, with a prior reservation, and we added a couple of tables to that. The restaurant easily accommodated the additional numbers. Service was great, very attentive, but not hovering. From initial glasses of ice water to final payment of the bill, everything was smooth and efficient! The restaurant has an extensive menu covering a wide variety of foods, from appetizers, soups, salads, beef, chicken, seafood, all presented with a South American flair. With such a variety available, we had a bit of a time trying to narrow it down. we settled on a split baby spinach salad as an appetizer, it was terrific. Super fresh spinach, and ample portions of all the veggies, nuts, and cheese, and a delightfully light dressing. Our shared entrées included the Canelones Caseros, two spinach-filled crêpes, wrapped and topped with a delicious vegetable sauce, marinara, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. The dish was outstanding! Our other shared entree was the Gnocchi Quartet, which consisted of four different kinds of deliciously prepared gnocchi, blended in a medley of fresh vegetables, and a light cream sauce... also a winner! The restaurant has a nice list of premium cocktails, and other libations, as well as a decent wine list. The wine list has a nice variety from around the world, but is rather limited, and that is just an observation not a complaint! We selected a very nice Pinot Grigio from the Torresello winery in Italy. It was served at the perfect temperature, iced in a bucket, and went exceedingly well with the meal we had selected. All in all an excellent meal, start to finish, especially in light of the rather large group we had. Highly recommend Buenos Aires Café for a delightful and delicious dining experience...

The food was amazing, we ordered a few things I included images for as well as the empanada "spicy carne" which consists of Olives, eggs and some peppers- it was sweet and and lightly spicy! We loved it. Everything was an experience. Jeff was our server and he was such a polite host, and he explained all the ingredients very well so nothing would catch us off guard. The vibes were so fun and spanish, we loved the colors, it makes it romantic but at the same time can be a very family like setting! We will definitely come back.

My partner brought me here 2 yrs ago and I love this place. The food is amazing here and I brought my sister in law here as well. She thought this place was great. I usually come here 2 times a month or at least try too. The food is so wonderful here. If you are thinking about it, I would say do it and go for it. The service is great. When my friends come this is the place I would recommend.

Met some longtime friends here this past weekend for brunch. Everyone liked what they got. I'm trying to eat healthier since I eat out a lot so the mixed green salad with anchovies was perfect for me. My daughter got their beef sandwich with the side salad. Others ate the melted cheese with bread, pumpkin gnocchi, sausage sandwich, and an Argentinian shepherd's pie equivalent dish. Our server was great and gave us solid recommendations! I've eaten at BA Cafe several times in the past and look forward to going back again!

3.5 Stars Celebrated BF's dad's birthday dinner here. Drinks were awesome. Empanadas ($6 each) were delicious - all of the flavors we tried were so flavorful (chicken, beef, and spinach). I had a few bites of the spinach canneloni ($23) with Shrimp addition ($17) and they were divine. Gnocchi ($22) with Chicken ($10 addition) was also great, marinara was light and sweet. Also had some of the filet mignon ($38 for 8 oz) and mashed potatoes ($8) - amazing. The prices are HIGH for the portions / quality. ESPECIALLY if you add a protein. They had added TVs to their space which clashes with the "classy steakhouse" vibes. That being said, food was great and it was an overall lovely experience :)

Located inside galleria, with indoor and outdoor seating My husband and I went here for dinner recently and we enjoyed our meal. Not pictured is his churrasco entree. It was a big meal for two since we both ordered an entree. Honestly we could've shared 1 entree from the grill. I liked the beef tenderloin from the mix the most. The mashed potato side is the move... don't skip it! I really enjoyed the wine flight so I could have a different taste with each protein option. They service was great! There was only one staff member waiting on all the tables so I was very impressed! The dessert was just what we needed to end the night. Great presentation and tastes delicious. Our meal, including alcohol cost $125 including tip.

The empanadas here are amazing! My fave is the onion and cheese. Partners fave is the beef (says it's really flavorful). Happy hours Include Friday and sat (3-6) which is a rare find so we always come here. Great wines and wine flights too. I had their old fashioned here and it was well done and balanced. We love sitting on the patio here but I do have two suggestions: 1. Cushions on the metal chairs 2. Music would really make the ambiance outside. Who does want to drink a class of wine with some Argentinian music playing? If there were little twinkle lights - wow that would really spruce it up. Service is attentive and friendly and walk ins welcome.

Third time eating at Buenos Aires Cafe and it never disappoints. Food and service are excellent! Great place for a quick bite, or even full out dinner. Dessert are delicious, had the dulce del leche cheesecake and loved it. Made fresh!

IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO DELIGHTFULLY…read more Empanadas! Disclaimer: This is a blog I wrote last September. I still feel the same way! Argentine empanadas are famous all over the world, but if you have been to Argentina or have Argentine friends, they're impossible to miss! I was born and raised in Argentina and as a foodie, I don't go easy on my reviews--especially not on food that I love. Just a few months ago a friend of mine started a catering business, and empanadas are her specialty item. She offers ten different kinds of these savory pastry turnovers, so customers are treated to a varied and very flavorful experience. Last week, she brought a sampler platter to my office that included beef, chicken, and vegetarian options, and my colleagues and I got to taste some unique flavors. A traditional empanada's main ingredient is beef and my friend calls hers "Carne de las Pampas," or "Meat from the Plains"--coincidentally, my mom and dad greBeef empanadas.w up in La Pampa, a province known for its extensive ranches and superior-quality beef. These empanadas are filled with ground beef, onions, bell pepper, tomatoes, and a combination of spices. I really wanted to try them, but they were gone in the blink of an eye. My colleagues were licking their fingers and grinning. The "Tex-Mex" is already a favorite among Tango Delights' current clients since Austinites are used to Tex-Mex restaurants and spicy food. These empanadas are a twist of the traditional and come with jalapeños plus some secret "awesome!" spices. Spinach and Butternut Squash empanadas. My personal favorite ended up being the "Paisana," which is one of the vegetarian empanadas. The ingredients include spinach, onions, bell peppers, Parmesan cheese, more "awesome!" seasoning, and butternut squash. Just one bite had me smiling! The butternut squash in particular made this different from any other empanada I've tried, and it was marvelous. I'll definitely be ordering some of these for my next party! The other vegetarian empanada was the "Humita," and this one has corn mixed with a creamy white sauce, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes and, once again, the secret-recipe seasoning. It was flavorful, rich and left me wanting more. Additional options include traditional chicken, Cajun chicken, cheese and onion, ham and cheese, hand-chopped flank steak, and a breakfast empanada with bacon. A side salad can be ordered as well and it will come with your dressing of choice. Tango Delights is looking to expand in the near future to a brick and mortar location, and I will definitely provide an update for when this happens. In the meantime, order some to enjoy with your family or bring them to your next potluck party--you're sure to be the sensation of the evening if you do!

This property is smallish but quaint with adequate seating for lucky diners who have experienced the food and have come back or for first timers like our party. Wilson who took care of us provided exceptional service, and made excellent suggestion as to what we should try. All of us had had empanadas before, but that was the extent of our knowledge of their delicious menu. We did indeed get the Empanada Sampler which had four different mini empanadas. Combo of fried corn dough stuffed with ground beef, shredded beef, chicken, and cheese with cilantro, and garlic aioli. We cut them up so that everybody could experience them. Best ever! Cooked perfectly, golden brown, and delicious! We also tried a beef & cheese stuffed Arepa. It was huge and also stellar! Based on Wilson's advice two of us tried the Pabello Criolla :Shredded beef accompanied with rice, black beans, fried sweet plantains, avocado, fried cheese and a fried egg on top. It was so tasty!!! My grandson that's a pasta lover tried the Fosforera Linguini -Seafood linguini Venezuelan style. He enjoyed it. The serving size is more than adequate so we all took part of our meal home to enjoy for dinner that night. The one diner that was not open to trying non-familiar food really enjoyed his Bacon Cheeseburger with all the toppings and properly salted home-made fries. He rarely if ever compliments food but said it was the best burger he's had in quite some time and he really liked the fries too so there is SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE at FOGONERO. I also have to add that every one of our dishes was seasoned to perfection and I'm sure that added to our enjoyment of them. I would highly recommend that you travel to Cedar Park (from near and far) and give this delightful restaurant a try!!

I wanted to try the arepita appetizer which is normally served with shredded beef/pork or chicken on the side- to get a side of plantains instead of meat, it was going to add 3$ to the 14$ appetizer so I just opted to omit the meat all together and still had to pay the $14 ...which I don't feel is appropriate- people always wanna add money to sub a veggie for meat but never reduce the price when just removing the meat all together. Anyways, Ordered my food which was out promptly, the veggie bowl was delicious as always and the arepita appetizer (no meat) was good- reminded me of a fried potatoe cake, I used the arepitas as a vessel for my veggie bowl ! I brought the remainder of my bowl home where I bit into something very hard , once pulling it out of my mouth I discovered some beef snuck it's way into my dish- disappointing forsure but it is the first time out of about 10 times this has happened here. Prices have gone up over the last few years my veggie bowl was 18$.
